I made this video 3 years ago for my sister's wedding. I posted on youtube to share that special ocasion with some friends. I wish I had had a relationship with my father like they show in this movie. Dad was always around but he was disinterested in his family (just like his dad was) and as such I grew up to dislike him. I couldn't turn to him for anything or count on him. As he got older his drinking got the best of him and he became an even angrier person. He died when he was 61 and I've yet to shed any tears.

This was my dad and i's movie. he was the one that introduced it to me when i was little and made me want to get married just like annie did. Steve martin is what i picture my dad would have looked like when he got older. my dad passed away December 27, 2010 at the age of 46 due to a heart attack and stroke while shoveling. I will never be able to have a father/daughter dance or get walked down the aisle by my dad. all those dreams are gone. hug your dad everyday and tell them you love them
