I can't understand why you don't have more followers. You are one of my favourite (yep, Canadian! A few hours drive from S/I) to follow. Your experience in journalism comes through so well. I just love your channel and am constantly impressed with your dedication, passion and energy! Follow your dreams.....they are coming to reality!
I agree! I love so much about this channel! The real emotions that come through, the house story, the tightness of the family (love grandpa) and of course your a natural on camera! Not to mention how hard you work!!!!! You should have way more subscribers. I know it takes putting out a lot of videos, getting a lot of “likes” and comments. I’m sure there is a fellow UA-camr that can give guidance as to how to increase your subs so you can make more $ to help with all your flower farm dreams!
I think you should work on your titles bit more... Videos of you can't eat grass channel titled we planted 5000 tulips did better.. UA-cam promotes good eyecatchy title ... Just a suggestion.. love your humor and your content ... Joined you from last year😊😊 I really wish you will grow..you really deserve it
I built a similar cool recently, and here is something important I discovered. Your not supposed to use the rockwool/ fiberglass type of insulation inside a cooler because it will usually form mold. Better to use foamboard or spray foam.
A florist from southern BC here. I've used a CoolBot for 6 years (2 custom builds) and have never been disappointed. You are on your way! Love this for you🌼🍃
In my house we call those projects ones done by the Dadandi company. People ask who we hired to add built in bookshelves or install a tile backsplash or flooring? Dad and I 😁😁
I'm happy for you with finally getting your cool room. The light on the tripod is a very nice light. This may cause some heat in your cool room. Question, is the floor in your barn insulated?
That’s so awesome, and so wonderful to have your dad being such a handyman in so many areas. It’s a real blessing, the shed and your dad. Actually it’s love seeing all the helpful family sowing seeds and helping you out.
Aren't Dads the best? They are always there when you need them and know enough about everything to be able to figure things out. They have patience and stick with it no matter what, with no complaints until the job is done. ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Nicole - wanted to see how you like your cooler build? Any things you would do different? We are about to build our cooler; we are using your video as our guide. Thank you for the videos and the information you share. Have a safe and great day.
Honestly “Auntie” Nicole it makes me want to cry how close you are to your family. Like such a Daddy’s Girl. I appreciate the rawness of your channel. It’s not always going to be glam but it’s moving into a direction where you needed it to go. 😄
I whole heartily agree with Rhonda Bencze. You are the whole package, fun to watch on this journey of becoming a very successful flower farmer. And kind enough to share the knowledge you gather along your way, looking forward to summer with rows and rows of beautiful flowers.
You are funny...the last dance.congratulations for your new cooler.looking forward to many more new things.you will get what you want as you are really hardworking.love and blessings from the core of my heart.
Fantastic that you have your cooler - we wouldn't/couldn't be without ours. What makes it really useful is having shelves in there on both sides and the back. We have our shelves set at the height of our main crop (peonies) so that we can fit buckets of peonies at floor level and more buckets at the shelf level. Just like that, you can fit twice as much in...
I absolutely luv watching your channel. You are so resourceful and inspiring - you don’t give up; you find a way to do it! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
I'm so happy for you Nicole! I know this is something you have really wanted & really needed! & I just think its so awesome you have such an awesome, supporting family. You're always talking about gifts you get from your family, & all these different memories/stories & it just amazes me! The last time I got a gift from an aunt or uncle was when I was 15... My family just isnt close unfortunately. 😕 We barely talk, let alone spend time together, gift each other stuff, etc... After my dad died when I was 9, that side of my family didnt really have anything to do with me. I so wish we were. They invite me over for Thanksgiving & Christmas to eat & thats it ... & then my mom's side- my uncle has passed & his children live far away, & my aunt & her daughter- we used to be fairly close but her husband was in the military so we were never super close... they now live in Colorado.😒 But I hope that my neices & nephews feel the support you feel from yours, from ke! I am always getting them gifts, taking them places, doing things for them, etc. I hope I pass onto my kids & neices & nephews those types of memories & relationships I've always wished I had! ❤️
Hey Nicole super excited for you your Dad did a Awesome job you really deserve your cooler you inspire me to do my bouquets GOD . BLESS You guys Girl 😇😇😇😇
I m exited for you. I have seen how much your business has grown. I m so impressed by your energy and how you keep pushing forward. Can you share with us what keeps motivating you?. It s great to see all your friends and family helping you.
So happy for you, Nicole. The walk-in cooler will make a huge difference for you…..and will save you time and eliminate a lot of stress. Your father being an electrician is a major benefit….and an experienced builder, too….that’s huge. Great you have Dad and Brad with all their expertise to help you with these big projects. What a blessing they are…..and all of your family members who help you with everything. You are starting the season off with a bang…..hoop house, walk-in cooler, more beds. I believe you said in one video you were going to have hired help this year. I hope so. You are going to need it. You’re expanding quickly. Please take care yourself and don’t overdo. You know what happened to Serina last year. ❤️😊
So excited for you to have the cooler..and what a wonderful memory maker building it out with you Dad! Watched Gary from Walker Family Farm build a cooler out of a shipping container using Cool Bot. And he has a local florist that “borrows” it on occasion!
I love my Coolbot. I grow only peonies, so I only need a cooler for 3 or 4 weeks, but my farm could work without a cooler. I find that keeping buckets of water inside the cooler helps to keep things chilly. I can get nearly to freezing! Feels great on a hot June day.
what about control of humidity levels? Flowers require 90% humidity. Those off the shelf window AC units can't achieve that when operating continuously, at best 55%, which precipitates flower degeneration.
Love your large walk in cooler. I had no idea that one of those could be built using an air conditioner. Thanks for the info on CoolBot's. Happy Tulip Time!!!
I really appreciate you taking the time to post this as we are trying to figure out a solution for storing dahlia tubers in zone 5b. What happens in your flower cooler in the winter when it freezes? Do you have a heater? How does it maintain that 40 some degrees when it freezes? Thank you!

Completely agree. Creative solutions are so interesting.

I've been dying for something like this. I was really clueless as to what a "cooler" entails.
That’s so awesome, and so wonderful to have your dad being such a handyman in so many areas. It’s a real blessing, the shed and your dad. Actually it’s love seeing all the helpful family sowing seeds and helping you out.

Will you have to do something for humidity/condensation? This is such a great idea!
So happy for you. I felt so bad last year, when you were swamped and hot.
