- A little video showing a few more upgrades and a full van clean (yes I probably did something wrong, like using the wrong cloth or cleaning it in the sunshine or not waiting until the moon was waining haha)

Good product for plastics is aerospace 303. Great for bringing up the cab, bumpers etc. protects them from uv rays. Meguires tyre gel is also great for your tyres, put on with a micro fibre sponge. Do a wee bit of detailing and I’ve found these to be great.
Bucket with grit guard plus a micro fibre wash kit will also prevent scratches.

love that forever black stuff, made my 15 year old disco look brand new. lasted about a year before it started to go patchy, but one coat and it’s back to new again.
Colin invest in a snow foam lance and use something like Autoglym Polar Blast to wash off your dirt without using a sponge which can cause scratches and swirls. Apply to a dry, wait about 10 minutes then jetwash off and finally microfibre clothes to dry off. Ideally don't do it in the sun either. Great video again
Get yourself a drying towel it's a game changer so much easier
I wish I’d know the fridge front is removable. I put vinyl on mine but it looked more like bubble wrap when I’d finished 😆

You would have hated pantone sheets then. In my job(photo industry) We used to lay them on white background . They are see through and really easy to tear and once you put them down, they are almost impossible to lift without tearing something. It always looks so neat and clean in your home and in the van.

arghhhhhhh.. you are a bad man Colin......All this van DIY. I just spent two days blowing led lighting in mine. Thankfully they were only a fiver on ebay LOL. That under sink cupboard fettling was inspired though.... I shall go forth and fettle some whittling wood and make some shelves for mine. Peanut butter works for blacking the plastics up. and as a bonus your van tastes smashing. Bet you think I'm kidding don't you ! ( peanut oil is easier though)

Another good video and great shelf solution Colin, but I didn't like the price so got 2 foldy brackets and a bit of silver coloured shelf from B&Q and it looks the nuts! Thank you for the inspiration 😀

Hey Ash, it's been great on the bits I cleaned properly... The bits I missed, not so great but that's totally user error... My advice, clean first, then clean again and then clean once more just to make sure all the residue has gone

Hi Colin, sorry to be a kill joy but is that round white plastic thing not a gas vent in the bottom of the cupboard under the sink? Isn’t that supposed to be under the gas canister for safety reasons? I only ask coz I am just at the point of converting a very similar van and scratching my head about fitting such a vent. Totally love your videos buddy by the way 😊
Yep you're 100% correct matey, I have another in the other cupboard as that's where the gas used to be when I first built the van... A good point well made though.. ;)

Hey Tom, where I'd cleaned the bumper properly (99% of it) it has stayed on fine... The other 1% has started to come away..... Next time I'll make sure it's cleaned to within an inch of its life :)

The only observation I would make - (and just saying) - the gas air vent is now in the cupboard that doesn't hold the gas cylinder.🤔 Not sure if that is a clever idea or not.

Thanks re: the gas drop out, I have two (there is already one in the other cupboard as I didn't know where I'd be putting the gas when I first installed it so all is safe ;) )
