Hi Christine! I want to thank you, I recently had an assessment day at an international IT consultancy. After watching your video I was a lot more clued up about how to prepare for the day and your content was really helpful. Suffice to say I was given the job as a graduate Functional Consultant! Thanks again for your help! Keep doing what you’re doing!! ❤
Hi Christine thank you for these great videos and info! I just finished my 1st round on Friday and awaiting info for round 2 - this is an apprenticeship program. I’m a woman in career transition (51yrs but excited about data, tech etc) and a graduate of a data science program. I too shared with the interviewer my appreciation for the company having a woman CEO at the helm. I’m a bit nervous about my 2nd but looking forward to getting it through. I’m binge watching and note taking via your videos! Thank you!
I’m glad you found my videos helpful, and good luck! Is your round 2 a case interview or just a normal behavioral? Either way, good luck and you can do it!
I also interviewed Mari Taksa on her experience with the apprenticeship program, so this may be helpful for you! ua-cam.com/video/dbk6r96x-xk/v-deo.html

Dying with how cute your cats are! I love how calm you were after your final round interview. My heart was beating out of my chest and literally pscyho-analysed everything the interviewer did and said!!
OMG, I was more tired than I was anxious. 😹 I thought I hit it off so I left happy, but deep down I was so scared that I may have actually messed up unknowingly. I didn’t want that to mess up my weekend since this interview was on a Friday afternoon.

Very helpful video, thank you Christine! :) Also, could I ask a follow-up question? You mentioned at 7:28 that we should take notes during the interview so that we can write details in the thank you email. But should we actually write it down on paper to show that we are paying attention, or would you recommend us to just remember it by heart? Thank you Christine :) Have a great week!
Hey Jingyi! I realize I never responded to your comment! I thought I did! My suggestion is to take notes regardless, come with paper and a pen. Don’t take notes for the thank you email, take notes to engage and learn about the business. If anything stands out, you can mention that in your thank you email so your interviewer can pinpoint you were the girl that spoke about this and that while all the other thank you emails they get are generic and won’t help you stand out. It’s important to note at the end of the interview, they have an idea of you already and most won’t change their mind due to a thank you email, BUT there are cases when maybe they have made their mind but decided to help you in a different capacity. Of course I make eye contact and I just take notes on things I actually find interesting and can’t be found online or publically. Things like nature of their work or job or their opinions. Also shorthand your notes so focus is on the interviewer and not on taking notes.
Thank you so much Christine!!!!! This is super helpful!!!!! I will have my interview next Wednesday, and will definitely remember your words and apply this to my interview!!! Thank you Christine. Have a great weekend :)
This is something I’ve heard they started doing after when I was recruited, but it’s not new news anymore and I have heard of people getting them. It’s not something that can be prepared because it’s very skills-based like understanding and reading a document, going through resources to find information, etc. skills we trained on for schoolwork! Just try your best to pace yourself and to keep yourself centered if it gets you frazzled. I also realize I responded to this comment a little too late 😿 How did it go?
Hi Christine! I'm looking to prepare for the final interview (remote) and I'm certain things are quite different from your experience these days... but perhaps you can provide some insight into what your day-to-day was like as you started your role as a technical consultant with Accenture! Thank you so much for making this video, btw! This is the job I didn't know I wanted! I have a varied background in culinary, management, and have a degree in video game design, plus recent graduation from a coding boot camp. I feel like I've been preparing for a role like this for the past 10 years of my life. How can I prepare for this? What, besides networking, which has been blown out of the water (both by the pandemic and the fact that I suddenly have 7-14 days to prepare) can I read or study to be ready to nail this interview?? I appreciate you and any feedback you can provide! Please feel free to reach out to me privately as well. Thank you kindly!
Great question! I do have a few Vlogs on my channel on how my day to day is like but it’s really not the same every day or even every week. It is based off of the role you have for the project, so everyone’s day to day will differ. Some roles have more calls than technical work and some have more technical work than calls. Even some have more travel, some don’t even have any travel. The only difference the pandemic did was remove all travel but for many technical consultants, it was pretty much business as usual compared to the functional and management consultants in tech. As for how to get a job in tech consulting, I did have a lot of videos on how to pivot yourself and how to kill the interview process.
