Step 1: have perfect nails
Having manicures like this ensures your shape stays in place. I used to think like you until I stopped doing acrylics and went for gel / shellac on natural nails instead. It really helps to grow your nail and keep the shape
@@balkanwitch5747what is wrong with my nails I did my own gel at home and it made my nails thin and dint even last 3 days
Cuticle milk? Now thats new to me.....
Right😂😂😂
Nail tech told me to put oil, such as olive oil, on cuticles daily. When not wearing nails, add to nail bed as well.
I don't think using acetone to remove oil from your nail beds is a good idea, alcohol is a better option
No, alcohol is actually bad ,people should just use an actual nail dehydrator as well as primer
True aceton takes to much oil from the nail and the nails become weak and will break
Nail professionals will tell you that alcohol is worse because it doesn’t actually remove much. Just use a dehydrator
I’m a nail tech. I use both to remove natural oils. It’s not gonna hurt you. Most dehydrators/ph bonders have a lot of acetone in them anyway. That’s also why cuticle oil does help to kinda rehydrate the nail after polish application :)) the good cuticle oils will be able to penetrate the nail plate. ❤
I use alcohol to sanitize the nails and hands prior to application. This is the way they teach you at the SNS classes.
STRAIGHT TO THE POINT..LOVE IT!!
...my friend has done my nails 💅 and l have always washed my hands so l can brush my nails over and under. No problems yet.
What type of nail product did she use?
Wowie! This was a year ago! 😅 Now a year after learning to do DIY nails. Well, my friend would do prep, cuticle pushing and buff the nail. I remember that she used a dehydrator and primer before even applying the dip powder base coat.
@@hisforharley2022 oh lol I was just wondering thank you🫶
You can see transparency around the cuticle though, not enough product was applied all over the nail, that’s the only bad thing about dip powder, often time, the whole nail isn’t covered with product..
Then you're doing it wrong, I always have full coverage
@@KibaSakuraLoveI thought we're supposed to leave a tiny space?
You're products are beautiful
Brazilian manicure 💅 ever in my life!
This helped so much
Does Dip powder require lamp?
No
Depends on the brand
Is there a difference between cuticle oil and cuticle. Milk?
Hey I'm actually gonna start trying dip powder and I just wanted to know what happens if it remains on your skin.
Edit: to the people who were explaining to me what happens just wanted to say thank you 😁
It can cause lifting
It also just looks really bad
@@emilyborges1321 im new to nails. what do they brush on before they dip?
@@kaylamyerss it's a special fluid for the powder. Similar to monomer for acrylic nails but especially for dip powders.
@@SassyWinterFox thank you 😊🫶🏽
prettyyyy
Um.. I’m good with my cuticle oil ty very much….
Very helpful
Do you use uv light ?
I can't wait to get Nailboo! This will save so much money and there are so many beautiful colors!! Can you put tips on your nails when using Nailboo? My nails are short, and I wanted them a bit longer. Will it still work correctly with nail tips?
Notice the full shape of the nails in the video - they look like they were built up with clear gel first.
Does anyone know what happens if you don’t shake the dip powder first?
If it’s clumpy even in the slightest, it can cause that coat to be uneven, bumpy etc
It started burning and i couldn't get it of with sand paper so i panicked and cut it off with a knife. But i cut too deep so now i have a bandage.
0/10 it hurt >:(
Your top coat sucks… I just tried the kit for the first time and the bristles were SO stiff and the top coat wouldn’t dry.
It’s a disaster 😢
Same! I wiped the brush off with acetone and put it back in the bottle to loosen up. The top coat is gets so tacky and doesn’t dry fast enough. Surprisingly the top coat was the most challenging and messy step 🫠
My mom wants me to learn how to do dip nails cause that’s what she gets now 😅 so here I am
Same! But I didn’t learn much from
This lol Have to go searching for a different video
How do you prevent contamination from the powder dip jar if having your nails done professionally?
From what I’ve seen online, they pour the powder over the nails as your finger hovers over something to collect it, usually a disposable cupcake cup (based on the shorts).
Even though I’ll only be doing my own nails, I will be using this pour-over method to prevent powder caking under my nails and contamination of bacteria into the powder. It just seems easier that way.
Nails/hands should be sanitised during any nail treatment in a salon too, to help prevent cross contamination occurring.
They fall off for me. And I use that same brand. Why would it be?
Not worth it. Looks s mess my nails.and I have an event tomorrow 😢
thanks for the great tips!
You have GORGEOUS nails😃
Hell nah she looks she has a condition
Hi so i developed some kind of allergy to gel so unfortunately i had to stop using them. Will this be okay to use? I'm afraid if i buy, I'll just be allergic to it too.
💅
Dont get product on you skin?! Are you SERIOUS????
💅
What the problem is NOBODY will adhere to a Universal nail dipping or gel language. Laymans terms if you will. Like??
Wash and dry hands throughly. I like to dry with a hairdryer. Now onto step 1 below.
Step 1. Buff entire nail removing shine. Lightly dont over buff its not necessary or healthy for your nails. Now ..Brush gel on back of of fake nail tip place on tip of real nail...make sure do this quickly but also as straight as you can. Hold 20 seconds till well bonded to real nail. Repeat this process on all tens nails. Let set for 5 minute's to insure dry.
(Note if nail is little Crooked ots okay filing in next step 3 you can fix it).
Step 2. If you have the long tips cut to desired length here. Now Brush on activator or brush cleaner along the (seam only ) of the fresh new nail tip you applied in step 1.
Do all 10 nails.
Step 3
take a buffer or file buff (lightly file seam only where you just applied ( activator brush cleaner) lightly buff till it blends into natural nail ( dont over buff ) lightly is the key word here.
Step 4 apply a layer of gel or base coat , slide finger into dip hold there 5 second , slide it out and shake it off or tap off any remaining dip powder. You can take a cuticle stick and lightly out the the bottom psrt of your nail at cuticle base to make sure everything looks clean and proper shape. Also after esch dip make sure to remove and dust off any remaining powder as you can. But (do not wash hands.) Do all ten nails. With this step. Let all nails dry completely about 10 or more touch to feel, keep nails dry till completely finished. We are almost there...
Step 5 . File and shape nail to your desired shape after you have completed step 4. File and shape all 10 of your nails. Brush off all file dust resdue, make sure it all dust is removed and lint free.
Step 6. Now apply 1 layer of gel or base coat to your entire nail tske your time keep it in between the lines of nail, just like coloring in a color book..stay in the lines of your nail try not to get any on skin. If you do. Wipe off any extrs with q-tip. Let dry completely 10 minutes, then repeat this step again . Let dry Additional 10 to 20 minutes, once completely dry , go wash hands thoroughly. Dry completely. You can use a light if you wish to insure nail has completely cured meaning ( dryed completely)
Next super easy part paint nails if you wish if you used clear dip..if you used color dip you add anothsr layer of shiny top coat one hand at a time plsce under light if you wish ( follow paint bottle instruction referring to if product needs light or not..ldt dry or. Cure, repeat om next hand exact szme directions.
Your all finished, it will get easier each time you do this entire system so mzny times, you will be amazed how quickly and Percise you have become on this whole application process , time to amaze your grandma, mom.,aunts and cousins wuth this new skill saving everyone money and time while having fun and spending quality time once again wuth each other. 😊
That’s my problem I get product on my skin it’s hard to get off and what’s Cuticle milk??
I want to do this but i don’t have all this patience lol 😂🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ but nail polish chips too fast as I do a ton of housework but I’m also a housewife so I don’t have salon money 😂
This hasn’t worked well for me. What’s your refund policy like?
Bro I went to the nail salon and their default was dip powder and they didn’t even touch my cuticles. HUH?!
Great info!! Thank you
Step 1: Don’t use Nailflu…err, I mean Nailboo.
How do you get the product of skin because my nail stylist left it on there.
What will dry base if you are not using cure machine?
What liquid you use before dipping your nails?
I thought you said “Don’t even buff your nails”
You really love your nails huh😀 I bite mines every time they grow over my finger I have like no nails at all I appreciate your work hun
Do you need to use a gel base or any base will work
Usually dip powders come woth a primer/bond
Thank You
Wow that’s nice
That looks horrible
Love
Cheapo Ebay Chinese dip powder just cracks and chips off. Tip! Use a rubber base coat. Silcare Flexy topcoat is OK but it's too hard, it chips off! I'm tired of the nail industry, it's a CON! My long nails are thin, chipping and weaker because of gel polish! Great! Not! 🇬🇧
How remove?
Woah. Awesome advice. I do fins it amusing how l have a SerenDIPity kit and it says to wash your hands as step one. 😆 #subscribing
It’s good to if you throughly dry afterwards. Water will ruin you
masha Allah ur nails is so beautifull
💅
Lo aprendí antes
😍😍😍😍😍
Ty!
👍🏼👍🏼
Mine for some reason collects all at the end of the nail?
