@Marvelle Blake You misunderstood. This person is saying Roman thinks Sugar is a puppy because she's so small, and Sugar thinks Roman is just a big bunny. It's a joke.
For rabbits, hopping over another bunny is a show of dominance, it means "just fyi this is *my* turf" so in a way, it's literally true that Sugar thinks of Roman (and the entire household) as HERS. :) Given a situation where they feel safe and secure, rabbits can get as territorial as dogs or cats and they will flex like an apex predator! 🐇

Seems like whenever there's a story of a bunny being friends with a dog or cat, the bunny is in charge. They have very strong personalities!
This one especially. Maybe since she was a mom to so many litters she just knows how to take charge!

That’s been my experience! My dog follows and a respectful distance behind the bunny. My bunny likes the dog but standards must be established. Lol. Parents should be like bunnies with their kids😂
Bunnies are VERY territorial. They like to always be in charge in relationships when it comes to other species because it makes them feel safer. They are naturally prey animals so their instinct is to be in charge or otherwise they will be seen as weak and be eaten.

My bunny was fine with dogs as long as the dog wasn't excited and/or aggressive. If doggo was calm, she was calm. It's all about the energy. She was scared of cats and she didn't like smaller animals for some reason. She attacked a hamster and a chinchilla.

Most siblings are family only because they are born into it. These two seem like they were meant to be together. As different as they are, they not only accept each other, but genuinely enjoy each other. Sugar's and Roman's facial expressions and body language proclaim their loving bond.

We adopted an abandoned Rabbit many years ago, He had a hutch in the garden, but loved to come indoors to play with our two cats. It was great fun watching them chase each other around the house.

Awesome, hooray for Roman and Sugar. However, as honorary self-appointed volunteer counsel for Bulls in China shops, they actually navigate more deftly and carefully than most people do. A few years ago on Mythbusters, they released several large bulls into smallish space full of glassware, and they moved through and around the room at the same time without knocking over a single dish. :)
Cattle in general are very considerate! I know the dodo has showcased a young bull who often comes into the house, they tiptoe and tuck their tails to make sure they don't knock anything. Meanwhile, my calf took down three different doors in the stable today...
It's hilarious seeing how carful bulls are considering how thick there hides are they really don't need to be careful. I mean a cattle prod to a bull startles it more then hurts it were as a human would be on the floor in pain. So seeing these big tanks of animals just carfully roaming through the shelves is the funniest thing ever.
There's a video of a man bringing his huge longhorn steer into Petco to test their pet on a leash policy and he was very careful not to knock his horns into anything.
I remember that one! I was so surprised at how good they were at navigating the tiny space.

Two Beautiful Beautiful animals. What a delight
We had a rabbit that fell in mutual love with our Cocker Spaniel. They lived in the backyard. Charity started to believe she was a dog. The barked and ate dog food. They were an off couple.
