I'd take supporting my local team (Doncaster Rovers) anyday as I'm actually apart of something and there to actually support the team. Couldn't give a toss about any of the big six clubs as they're all corporate sellouts who couldn't give a rats arse about supporters

As a good friend of mine said on Twitter, this is typical of demographic of modern football fan and how they consume the sport. They have NO CLUE about football. Sky Sports shapes their opinion. I'd rather be QPR than a fan of a top PL team any day. It's real, it's genuine, shit but local and that means everything. We're not in it for glory - and THAT is what you don't understand, because you're clueless about the culture of the game and what makes it special. Take the mic away from these clowns.

They are right. We dont care about queens jerk rangers, preston north end etc. We want to watch the big players and big teams. Otherwise football is boring. How can u be into football when u spend 90 percent of the game singing and drinking without actually watching whats going on the pitch.
