Dan could be weather, level or air conditioning and driving conditions. If you are doing highway, in colder or very hot weather, this will affect range.
As Mark has pointed out, there are numerous factors that determine EV range with your Prime. For us, the biggest one is ambient temperature. When ours turned-up in late March the daily temperatures here hovered around 5c (42f). At that temperature we saw 80Km (50m) in EV Mode. A few days ago (with a temperature of 25c (82f), I drove 91Km (56.87m), in EV Mode with 6% SOC left. Yesterday, at start-up, the computer told us our range would be 94Km (58.75m). Our driving habit has not changed in the least. The roads in our tiny community are posted at 40kph (and, it's very hilly. Elevation changes in excess of 500' in just a few miles), and we usually drive at 55kph. To achieve these numbers you have to roll with no electrical loads like heat/AC, heated/cooled seat or steering wheel warming. Our car has 17" wheels, and that's a major benefit. It will be interesting to see what we'll get in EV Mode next winter. Our plan is to source a set of 16" rims/tires (winter tires) in the 215-60 format, a close copy of the OEM set-up.
why did it say on your phone app, your tyre pressure was 35 on your front wheels. But on your car screen it said 34 for your front wheels, nice vid's good job 👍
@@MarkCeeee Sorry I wasn't being picky, i've ordered the 2024 Prius, but because of the recall on back door, got to wait bit longer for it as they're sorting out the issue . Am sooo looking forward to getting it, hopefully soon ☺ thanks for the info 👍
@@trevorelliott6836 We waited 21 months for our 2024 Prime. Actually ordered one in 2022. So, we paid for two model year price increases, plus, lost $2,00 in trade-in value for our 12 year old Model C. Still, it's been worth it. Ours finally landed just a month before the unnecessary Stop Sale Order was issued. In the default setting, all five doors lock the moment you select Drive Mode. So, the rear doors can't open unless you change the setting. We understand your frustration.
If you turn things off like ‘Lane Departure Alert System’ do they stay turned off permanently or do you have to turn them off at the beginning of every journey?

When/if...........We waited 21 months for our 2024 Prime ! The new wait time in our province is a painful 3 years. That has to have a massive impact on sales. If you turn it off it will stay that way until you change it.
That’s good news but I fear that might not be the case in the EU and UK. When/if my Prius is ever delivered I will let you know.

Do you pay for wifi? Or do you use hotspot? My trial is about to expire and dont know if i should pay at&t or use my mobile hotspot. Thx
Don’t pay for Wi-Fi or any services so far as I just use my phone

@@TheShamo1 No, though I could. Just use regular data and 5G or LTE on my phone and Apple CarPlay, never used my free WiFi trial.
