It dawned on me while watching this video that a great idea for a new game show on TV would be “Name that Plant.” You would be an ideal host I believe. The object of the game would be first contestant to the top of a moss pole climbing higher with each correct answer and dropping down with incorrect answers. Ok, I’m not serious in suggesting that but one never knows … . lol. Beautiful plants as always. Thanks .

My gloriosum is growing just like your mint monstera! I can’t figure out which way she wants to crawl and SO MANY babies coming off the main stem! I didn’t even think of the babies taking energy away from the main shoots. 🤯 I may need to get the trimmers out.

Thank you so much!! I plan on making content around the shop here on UA-cam. I will be a big part of my weeks now. It's my own website so anyone will be able to go onto it and browse around. I want to do a video a week or every other week where I package some orders and talk more about it for those that want to watch. I actually filmed a video earlier talking about the shop that I want to get up here very soon. I will do weekly drops in batches of plants because I don't want to have too many up at once to package and ship out since it's just me but I'm going to be growing and propagating a lot this summer! I'm hoping to have a date/time here soon!

I’m in Autumn here in Central tablelands Australia & I ordered a Monstera Aurea. She’ll be arriving soon. It’ll be a few months before I start seeing good growth LOL (I love being in a cold climate😅)
I also absolutely love Maranta now, I got that love from watching you ❤. I ordered a Silver band!!! I want the white vain now haha

Ayyy, I was literally about to ask if you had already put out an update on those 3 Anthurium seeds! Fun update! 15:33 💚
It'll be cool to see how it turns out, but it might be better not to get your hopes up too high. My understanding is the Delta Force was a unique clone that couldn't be recreated through seeds. The Delta Forces that exist seem to have started as vegetative propagations originating from the original specimens from Steve and Marie Nock. I think they've reached tissue cultures by now. TC clones have a rare chance to introduce mutations, but odds are they should be nearly identical to the parent plant. Either direct or TC clones seem to be the only ways to reproduce the Delta Force. As they become more widespread, maybe someone else could get that rare shape to emerge from pollination just through sheer numbers.

Nice Monstera Mint! You can actually propagate it in place, slice the stem in place, without disturbing the roots & removing the substrate. Less shock and stress for the main plant & its baby plants.
I actually took care of it earlier today for a video soon! I think it turned out well and soo very curious to see what happens to the babies 🫣

Guess what I found. Verygeted maranta . Was shocked for 14 dollars omg & 1 left & I grabbed it so fast & no one was looking. I did a little dance because of it 😅😂. Yes, I'm into Monstera , my favorite house plants . I was their to look for a string of plants & when I look up there, she is lol for 14 dollars & the verygation is so gorgeous I had to grab her lol. Yes, sometimes the big box store surprise me with what they have.

Melissa, you don’t have a JoseBuono? Him and the Manjula I’m very excited for this season. And the Melano and el Choco and the adansonii mint. Your monstera mint is gorgeous! I’ll try to get one. Just did the first chop and extend today on my marble queen. Miraculously I rearranged my apartment and have tons of space now so I’m excited for this season! Just started selling a couple plants as well. Cheers to never ending beauty ❤
I love monsteras 🥰, unfortunately monsteras aren’t very fond of me lol 😂.
I’m sure Melissa knows but for newer plant people this Anthurium is where the original Delta Force came from however all actual Delta Force are a clone of the original plant that was created in the 90s by Steve Nock of Ree Gardens. There are currently no known crosses of these two plants that have created a Delta Force plant again nor has any plant grown from original Delta seeds ever produced a Delta Force.

I appreciate that and thank you for watching 🥹 I've ordered from TGE I believe 4 times now and I know what to expect as far as the size of the plugs but the plants I have gotten from them seem to be doing well minus a couple I have had to rehab. I don't mind tiny plants for less and growing them out it's something I love doing. The only thing I don't care about is them showcasing random photos of mature plants on their Etsy that don't belong to them. If they used one of my photos without permission I would be a little upset. It definitely makes me think about ordering from them again because I had heard recently that someone called them out about it on insta and they blocked the user which isn't cool 😅

oh no! Sorry yours didn't have much color 😭 mine has very little variegation on the newest leaves. I still have it in stratum but will move it to pon here sometime soon. I'm hoping a future corm that will grow will come in with more variegation. If not, I will buy one that has more color eventually ☺️

Right!! The mint is growing away. I just took care of it today actually for a video that I will post soon! hehe. I will be selling all the corms but once they grow out and I can see the variegation. I don't want to sell just the corms though. I want to make sure they are happy plants and growing well. I will put them up in batches once they are ready! 😁

im new to the hobby so this is probably a dumb question but how do you grow plants in plastic cups without drainage holes? are you not worried about root rot?
oh I love drainage holes, it's a must for me when I pot them into an aroid mix (I use soil free now). For stratum - it's like growing in water so the roots are different. You can get rot still from under watering if you let them go dry for too long but when planting in soil if there's no oxygen getting to the roots from it sitting too dense or wet then you're going to have root rot happen.
