I’ve never had an Alocasia Black Velvet and every time you show your pink variegated one I like it more, so I think I’m going to be on the hunt for one. Great day for a video as it’s pouring rain here!
Thank you for another perfect video. Guess what? Even though my acrylic Milsbo shelves are so scratched (and only 3 months old) (and I am picky) I have decided to order again and do the U shape (I think I can fit more on the shelf than the V) and also did circles. I like the prettier designs, but I think that the circles will be good for hanging lights and camouflaging the scratches. Anyway, I will let you know!! Also, I love my Mathilde super splash. It lost 11 leaves in shipping, but it is really healthy and didn't skip a beat. I highly suggest watching hakunalaplanta on UA-cam. He shows how he was able to make the leaves more silver on the Mathilde. It was fascinating! Have a good day, Melissa. You are such a sweetheart!!
Thank you! 🙏 It's the MA ones, right? I may invest in some still for the milsbo. I don't keep too many plants in there but I might do a different design rather than the full rectangle. I really need some taller room 🙈 Glad your Mathilde is doing well, I'll have to check the video out 🫶
@@plantsbymelissa you should watch @hakunalaanta, Kevin out of Toronto. He’s got the super splashiest Mathilde ever. I double suggest watching him. He doesn’t post as much as he used to but you could look up some of his older videos to see what he does to get all the splash.
I recently picked up a philodendron sp Columbia because I just love how they look! I got mine as a starter though so it’s still just a baby. I can’t wait to see it size up and get darker!
Melissa, you are amazing. I have 100 plants which I love. I love everything about them, never think of caring for them as a chore, always plant care. I do not have a job outside of the home so I have plenty of time. I don’t know how you can care for all of them. Do you work outside of the home as well? Look forward to your next video, you have become my favorite. So many started out strong and now don’t post any longer, just disappear. I can see your character. Hi Melissa, I love your” favourite plants” in this video. They are stunning. I love your burle marx flame and wondered if you tried it and any of your monsteras in pon? Your monsters albo looked gorgeous as well in the background and wondered if that was in pon? Your pink princess is also stunning! That pink leaf was beautiful. ThankYou for sharing! ❤

@@plantsbymelissa Thank you for always taking the time to answer my comments. 🤓 It`s good to know that the 'light veins' have less crips... Maybe I should had her to my list! 🙂 I followed your steps and switched all my marantas in pon/semi-hydro. They love it!

I can’t believe your burle marx flame went from a tiny TC baby to split leaves in a year without an actual moss pole! Are you sure you’re not some kind of fairy? Your plant powers are phenomenal.
Thank you!! I haven't moved the bigger one to stratum yet but probably will do it soon! It seems like it will be one that gets edema pretty easily. I think the best thing to help is letting it be a little more on the dry side. I'll probably end up leaving less water in the reservoir once I move it over to pon and try and check it often so that it doesn't go too dry if that makes sense.
