About the pain, I agree. Every time I travel to Kenya pain and any crazy illnesses disappear. No headaches, flu etc. totally healthy! Hence why I try to travel to Kenya at least once a year just to reset.
Hi, living in the UK and working for the national health service we get paid for 9 months out 12 for maternity leave and not on full pay, i think the first 3 months it is full pay then it drops to half and so on until it stops. The last 3 months utajipanga! That's where savings play a part. After 12months you can decide with your manager before returning to work, if you want to take all your entitled annual leave for that year which could be 6-8weeks depending on the length of service which you will get full pay.
Prof, your camera person is doing an excellent job. Many of us often take such privileges for granted, but it's important to always remember: 'East or West, home is best.' Thank you for showing us these beautiful scenes from Nam Lolwe.
We really enjoy your videos. The lake area is absolutely beautiful. Just curious, have you worked with “Pre-cast”? It just seems like wiring and plumbing is so much easier with precast. I was thinking that when you talked about what it takes to correct electrical mistakes on stone walls.
That credit score thing was a riel shocker for me at some point in my life but I accepted by taking a several clotthing store cards it opened ways for me even to buy a car on credit you see. As for the pain going away when one comes home, trust me it is not psychological, that thing is real. Home is best. A friend of mine was living in some diaspora country, got covid and later this heart condition which he was told could not be treated. He was given a few months to live. He traveled to his home in West Africa and he has, by the grace of God, improved tremendously. Our foods and community plus the environment is just magical. At home the pot belly just melts and skin becomes black and shiny, home is best.
For those asking about the fires, Califonia is the 3rd largest state. Not everyone lives on sunset bulevard. In fact, not everyone can afford to live close to Paris Hilton's, so for those asking. I am 100%sure this man and his family house were not even close to that fire or even that part of the city. That is a celebrity and affluent area. Most of us are moving on with life despite the unfortunate circumstances.
Yes, I agree. I live in neighboring Arizona. These are large states (larger than some countries), if one part of the state experiences wildfires, we might not even smell the smoke. Anyway, we empathize with the people who have lost their homes.
Happy New Year, 2025! Wildfires are spreading across southern California and wiping out entire neighborhoods; as far as you know, bro, do you have a house to go back to??
That's such an amazing beach in Kisumu. I've been to Rusinga resort, a gorgeous paradise by the lake with a beautiful beach to go with. Check it out sometime. It's almost like getting a Watamu of the coast right at Lake Victoria.
Yes. I have also an issue with allergies when in the US. Once I land in Kenya, they are all gone
YES!! Come back :)
@@WuonOdidi unfortunately I don't do well in the village. Looking for plan B

The area that got burnt was within sunset, Bulevrad. I doubt this man lived near Sunset Boulevard.
