TFR vs Snow Foam - WHICH DO YOU PREFER?
More commonly use snowfoam, but in the winter on unprotected disgusting cars, I’ll use both.
TFR on first and then layer the snowfoam on top
@@MacklandsMotors nice one!
Mostly snow foam but every now and again I'll use some g101 👍👍
Bilt Hamber AutoFoam for me. Plenty of cleaning power.
I mainly use a citrus pre wash in a pump sprayer, couldn't be bother messing around with snow foam most of the time and the results are just as good especially as mainly it's a weekly wash for me and the car has carpro lite on the paint
Total respect on doing a unloved, non car person pet hair covered interior in 40mins. We used to use TFT all the time and It seems to have been forgotten recently. Amazing job in 2 hours. Epic
Brilliant! You are the only one who has shown me, as a complete beginner, non professional detailer, who just wants to keep her car clean, how to clean and polish in the right order. PLUS you said to apply a wax! I must’ve watched 50 to 60 videos and I was left scared to death of polish! Thank you so freakin’ much 😊
Amazing thank you for watching 🙏
Omg im so glad you said about how Hard it is to dry the vehicle in this cold weather! I've been losing my mind thinking my drying towels have had it🙄🤣
I know it's not easy this time of year. Mind you spring is coming 😁
I'm a young driver and loving maintaining and cleaning my car it's become a hobby and I love your videos keep up the content !
Thank you 🙏
I bought those Yum Brushes after you mentioned them on Instagram! Can i just say how impressed i was with them. I was so pleased i bought another box so now i got 4 brushes for exterior and 4 for interior!
Nice one. They are stunning to work with 👌
Hi Dave. Just wanted to say thanks for the 'heads up' on the Karcher outlet in one of your previous productions. Since taking this advice I have bought a longer hose and replacement gun and a foam gun, being a weekend warrior and all that. Solid advice and great pricing. I don't care of the gear is slightly scuffed, they are priced well to sell and are honestly good enough for someone like myself. As for the question - I have only used snow foam and for me it seems good enough.
Amazing thanks Karl. all i want to do is help so this has made me happy to hear. Honestly its all good stuff people just hate the name refurb!
Did you do all of that in just 2 hours? Your time- management skills are astounding lol. As always, great fun and very relaxing, thank you! 😉😊
Thank you. I allowed time for filming but the valet was just under 2 hours. Thank you 🙏
Hi Dave, brilliant job,in 2 hours you detailed the VW Polo.the before and after looks awesome.i need something like these videos to give me a boost to clean mine lol.
It still hasn't motivated me to clean my own car yet. Thanks Steven
Great video. I'll try these techniques on our family cars.
Thank you mate 😃
Subscribed liked & saved video, impressed to say the least, not only the brilliant way of coming across on video but also the 2 hours it took you to do the neglected Polo (take me at least 3 hrs) I learned quite a few tips as a retired person who loves keeping our 3 cars clean. Thank you (now onto your next video as you've made quite a few.
Thanks David my latest one is a good one (so people say lol) thanks so much for subbing 🙏
I did the same sort of job on a mini but instead took me like 4 hours 😩 my detail side definitely came out
Yeah those final touches can take the most amount of time. Doing it for business you have to drop the level of that makes sense
That looks amazing for a 2 hour job, well done fella 👌
Thanks mate appreciate it 😄
Nice one mate, definitely your best video in my opinion!! Your attitude and attention to detail is superb!💪🏻!! I liked the way you filmed everything you did which was great!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻✅
Thank you mate. It took over 3 days to produce so glad it's paid off 🙏
Great in depth clean, looking forward to using the yum undress.
Car looked great. (Liking the hoodie)great vid👍
Thanks Paul. I'm still waiting for "yum epic" to come out 😂 I wear these hoodie's everywhere free advertising 👌
Glad I'm not the only one who finds VAG carpets strange . Great video , very helpful tips. Thanks.
Thank you 🙏
Really like your content. Good results in such short time is Amazing specially when you're shooting the video as well.
Music, Direction & voice over was also perfect (Thumbsup)
Thank you my friend. 2 hours to clean 3 days to edit 😬
Good job! Nice to see the bare bones of a detail. Keep up the good work .😁👍
Thank you very much 🙏
another beautiful result. you sure make them look like a show room car. well done. i love the tyre dressings as well. it finishes a car off i think.
Thank you
Cheers for the great video Dave 👍. You certainly had no time at all to hang around on that job. The car owner must have been very pleased with your work.
Thanks Karl, he's always well happy. I had all his other cars to do and gives me a great location for filming for free so I was happy to do it. Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for the video I been watching a few of yours and pick up little tricks on everyone even detail brushing door shuts etc. Having recently started its great to learn new things thank you
Hello Ian thank you very much i genuinely appreciate the views
Just going through your back catalogue of videos and found this little gem , nice turnaround in the time you had and totally agree about some car manufacturers carpets , I've got a Ford Bmax and I'm sure they are a mix of carpet and velcro.
Yeah they a real pain to clean 😬
9:16 Dad is helping to dry the car.....aint that cheating? 😊
Great vids Dave, keep it up.
I have no Idea what your talking about lol 😂. I like to try and drop little elements that may make people smile. To be honest my dad isn't exactly a good car cleaner 😁
great job, really enjoy your videos. I'm looking forward to buying myself my first car in over twenty years
Thanks mate
Great video Dave. Unbelievable how quick you got round that car. It normally takes me two hours just to do the outside🤣 AG SRP and Yum Ceramic is a good combo.
I did a video few months back now that breaks down a quick and easy process. Ideally you need a bit of space but there is a system to get it done in no time. I would do a live video to prove it all but camera set up takes ages 😬
I'm just slow mate. I also think where the K2 is not a very powerful it takes longer to do all the non-contact stuff.
Thanks for the video, Very impressive results in 2 hours .
Thank you!
DAVE, Another great and informative vid, normally I do my cars in bout 2 half hours, is really good to set out wash steps, makes a difference, I recently tried a Strawberry Milkshake pink snow Foam, my wife loved it, as you said it get you noticed I gained extra cars to do now, keep up the great work! 👍🏻🙂🙂
That's amazing.nit definitely works and brings in new customers 👍
Hi Dave thanks again for the Brilliant video’s. Like embody else much Appreciated. Might be a silly question but should You shampoo your car every time you wash it. If it’s only dust which is on the car at the moment. But because it’s black it shows up. I’ve washed it snow foamed it and wiped it down with a drying cloth. Thanks Dave your absolutely brilliant
Thanks Stuart appreciate the kind words. Got brand new video out now
Great vid, I’d been looking for a polo clean on UA-cam, thanks 🙏
Thank you very much
The golf looks great, you did a great job considering you only had 2 hours 👍👍👍
Thank you very much. I have a very good system in place to get cars done quickly. Had to allow time to film the video 👍
Too vid as always .. very informative glad to see your numbers are on the rise 👍
Thanks mate. Really trying to get good figures fingers crossed 🤞
how do you organize your towels during a cleaning?
Hello i have separate storage boxes, i have yellow towels for glass, blue for door shuts, white for bodywork, orange for quick detailer, grey for ceramic.... and so on colour coding is a great way
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yum only seem to sell yellow, white and black towels. Where do you get different colours from?
Love the videos. I want to purchase an expert model like yours from the outlet, would be great to know what attachment is needed for the easy force to connect to my snow foam gun. Thanks
Thank you. They do sell quick connect which are £20 each so you need 2 plus the snow foam cannon is £85ish . I'm getting one set up next week so will keep u posted
Thank you Dave. I currently have a K2 which I just use every so often. Use the Autobrite snow foam Lance currently so didn’t know if I could just change the connector
Hi Dave, another fab vid, did so well in the time you had.
Dave, tfr does this strip any wax protection on a car, also where do you get your drying cloths from, cheers.
Hello Nigel cloths come from yum cars 👌. Tfr is pH neutral so your pretty safe
And thank you for watching 👍
@@epicautomotivedetailing I used to have a motorcycle cleaning and protection business. I was always intrigued by the terms PH balanced and weak vs strong or powerful cleaners. I could be wrong and probably am, but I was led to believe that something PH balanced was neither acidic or alkaline, but I thought it is possible to have a PH balanced product that was a weak cleaner and/or a PH balanced product that was a strong or powerful cleaner that might take off some protection like wax. I’d be interested in your thoughts. Great video anyhow 👍🙂 p.s. what was the interior brush? Don’t think it’s mentioned in drop down.
Hi Mat sorry to comment again, I was wondering if you could give some advice on hoovering really crap carpets which are FULL of dirt. I had a Skoda yeti today, and that stuff just did not get out, genuinely, I was vacuuming for an hour but the dirt just would not come out. Cheers
heres some tips, Air compressor or car dryer will blast out muck. Drill brush ok but you can damage fibres. Steam cleaner is my favourite though
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. Best detailing channel by a country mile
Great stuff. Really enjoyed this! 👍👍
Thank you 🙏
Loving the work there good sir, also loving the use of yym ceramic.
Thanks Phil. this video took so long to get done but glad its out there now
Cracking video and full marks for listing what you use.
Thanks mate appreciate it 😁
Love ur work, ur videos, and that it's mostly asmr ❤❤❤❤
Hi great video can I ask did you just use auto glum resin polish on the areas you used tar and bug cleaner or did you do all the car and if so how much time does it take to do full polish as it takes me a good hour ? Kind regards steve
Hi Steve No along the bottom i didnt because this is going to be a regular and used ceramic spray over the top so it covered the lower third. I apply very lightly and can do it in no time. the temperature plays a huge part too
Have you got the link to the brush used on seats please? Cheers
Hello the company is called frogchem dont have link because they are a local supplier to me
@@epicautomotivedetailing brill, cheers.

@@sparko2012 yeah im doing a big shopping trip and stocking up on as many brushes as possible for a video
@@epicautomotivedetailing good man, I'll watching that!
Great video Mr Walker. 🙌
Thanks Dave 🙏
Love the humour mate, top job
New Video coming tomorrow 8am. Thank you
@@epicautomotivedetailing Wicked mate cant wait. Im 15 and been doing mobile valeting for around a month now, just found your channel and is really interesting to get your take on things. Cheers
Nice one keep working and grafting.
nice mate just had a detail in the rain, had to get it done. it wasnt too bad, i have another detail tomorrow a massive lifted truck
I actually quite enjoy it and also in some ways it can take the pressure off in terms of perfection 🌧️
@@epicautomotivedetailing it was nice my man i actually enjoyed it. Something about you being the only one outside in the rain is nice I live next to a ton of neighbors so it was refreshing
Great video, I noticed you polished the car without fully decontaminating the paint first, is this OK to do?
In a perfect world you should Decon the car but for the client you have to give them what they ask for so in this instance yes it's totally fine
I’m selling my dads corsa. If I polish it with Autoglym super resin can I then put turtle wax ceramic spray on top or will that not work
Yes 100%
Great video as always, very informative 💪💪
Glad you think so! thank you so much!
What is the best drying towel to use on a car?
So many choices out there mate I use yum waffle towels at moment
I love this car.
Thank you for the video.
Thank you very much 🙏
Eyup Dave.
I've been using your window techniques for a wile and its effective but I struggle finding a perfect cloth to buff them after tried waffle weave new micro fibre korean buffing cloth and all seem to leave lint or if they do work great after a couple if washes there useless ??
I do wash separately with a tablet non bio 🤔 any advice mate
Believe it or not I tumble dry my yellow towels for glass. Now normally they say don't tumble as you damage fibres which is true but for glass you can get away with it. Lint 100% gone 👌🎉
Thanks mate I have thort about tumble dry I've give it a shot.
Where are your yellow ones from did you say halfords
Nice video dave.
What tar remover is that your using.
Thank you. Autosmart TARDIS tar remover 👌
Great vid, what tar remover did you use on the lower parts cheers.
Thank you very much. I used Tardis by autosmart for the road tar removal!
great video tells this what ratio did you use the g101 and carpet cleaner at if you could tell it in ml for the chemical and water for each. lovein the videos specially the tyre cleaner and the blue snow foam
You don't need much for g101 as it is strong. 1:10 I use on some plastics but it varies on surface. Same with carpet cleaner as it depends on severity of staining. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@epicautomotivedetailing what 1:10 mean in ml
@@chrisallen191 100ml in 1 litre 👌
Hi mate, love your videos and im trying to get into the detailing/valet business, whats your opinion on cold water vs warm water. which is better? which do you prefer? Does it matter? Thnks
Warm is better hands down. However I survived many years on cold water 👌
Just purchased G101 what dilution ratio do you us for plastic ..
I start off by very little 1:10 at most is good enough. As it is tough
What was the drying towels used, looked good cant find it in the description
Oh yes sorry didn't add that. They are yum cars drying towels 👌
Hi buddy, you did it beautifully, what is the cost?
Thank you. This was just shy of £100
How much would you typically charge for a service like this? And what's the nicest smelling interior spray you've used? Thanks another great video
Hello prices go around £100-£150 on average my friend. I use yum lemon neutraliser
@@epicautomotivedetailing I'm not just saying this to gain any fame from anyone on here I just want you to know that I myself love your channel and how much you've helped me.. your videos have literally changed my life for just being yourself so well done
Good job mate. Have you used Nonsense from the chemical guys? Great APC which can be diluted if you are doing interior or exterior. Excellent all round product and inexpensive
Hello can't say I've tried that yet. But definitely up for trying that
Looks similar to mine. My vw had loads of scratches. Followed your Autoglym video advice and tried the scratch remover and it worked really well. Thank you
Brilliant yeah I was impressed with it
Looked so satisfying 🔥🔥
Thanks 🙏🙏
an epic soundtrack for the epic car show 😁👍🏻
Thank you Audrius. Thats very kind to say 🙏
Standard time frame where I work. Top work
Thank you very much! 🙏
Great video Dave 👌 Keep them coming mate 🤙👌
Thank you very much mate 🙏
One heck of a nice job 👌🏻
Thank you
how can I keep warm water anytime at my van? I dont want to use customer's water at anytime.
Go for a heated pressure washer. Karcher sell a mega huge one but it will cost you quite a bit of money
Would you say the TFR is as good as a citrus pre cleaner like EZ care cares one? Which TFR do you lean towards using and at what dilution? Thanks and love the videos!!
Both great mate. I've just acquired GO Detailing TFR so putting that to the test at home this weekend so will film progress 👌
Do you use your wet vac to do wet and dry at the same time?
Yes this one doesn't have trigger so I use hand pump sprayer to sort it out so it saves £100 and it's more practical for time
@@epicautomotivedetailing That’s great thanks I didn’t know that, just starting out so that’s a big help 👍🏻
Can the EPIC code for yum be used in store?
Yes mate
Some results for 2 hours work, mate! Think I need to speed up.
Can I ask what you’d be charging for this? I’m new to it and still a bit unsure with pricing.
It's all about having a dedicated system and sticking to it. Based on time and condition of car this is a 75 - 100. I have a playlist on business tips. And I've done a video all about a basic valet in that playlist where I take you step by step on a car
did you put snow foam on top of the TFR?
Yes mate I did on this occasion
Great informative content
Well done
Subbed
Thanks George 🙏👍
No way I could do all that in 2 hrs. How much help did your dad give you ( off camera 😂). Good job as always.
Thank you mate. Did your prize arrive? If not let me know. Na my dad didn't really help. He just wanted to come and film and watch what I get up to
@@epicautomotivedetailing yes it did. Sorry was meant to message you to say thanks. It happened to arrive when I was cleaning the Mrs car so for used straight away.
@@dazza_UTO brilliant that's a relief thanks mate
Can I ask a silly question. Why do you leave the engine running
Hello, I do it to keep the fans on full blast and allow temperature to rise slightly 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing ok. Thanks
Another great video, car looked awesome, I noticed I've got a mark from bird poo I got rid of the dirt but think it's stained my paint as we had snow etc I didnt wash the car for a few weeks, any help would be amazing thank you
Hello Autoglym have recently bought out a quick fix solution for this it's like a heat bag that melts bird poo away. there are limitations but all in all its very good
@@epicautomotivedetailing thanks very much for the help, I want to clean and protect my wheel arches do you recommend anything for a protection to this thanks
@@scottbowditxh7721 for the inside wheel arches something like meguiar's ceramic spray wax offers great repellency.
@@epicautomotivedetailing ohh ok not used meguiars before so shall have a look thanks, look forward to some great videos from you soon 👍
How much would you charge for this job, specifically?
One based in the size and the work carried out would cost between £100 and £150
What is the cost of a valet like that ?
Varies between 75-100 my friend
Nice result in two hours but you had help 😉...can clearly see the other person when you dry off the boot area 🤣🤣🤣
That was my dad lol, the camera man, I wouldn't count him as help 😂
Good vid. Great results .
Thank you for your support 🙂
Do you travel anywhere in the uk?
Hello Depends on type of work. I mainly work travel UK if its for media purposes as my detailing business is pretty manic as it is :)
You did well to do all that in 2 hours!
Thank you very much 🙏
I been doing valeting for 10 years and I have always watched alot of video why do you start on the exterior first??
Hello mate,if I did inside first then have to move car forward I'd then muck up and bits I had done. If you do outside first you can also blast door shuts and wet vac any bits allowing plenty of time to dry. I believe doing outside first saves a lot of time overall
I would have used auto finesse triple for the polish
I got some for another video once lockdown ends
@@epicautomotivedetailing a great product that
must be an age thing. noticed that you were mentioning in another video how you’d slowed down having reached your mid 30s. Well at 57 i’m still crawling under my car to to get into all the nooks and crannies but even a regular maintenance wash is now taking over 2 hrs 😊
lol oh dear. fair play i have no idea how you do it. I got a gym membership i just don't use it lol
Love this Dave!
Thanks so much 🙏
Good video bro 👍🏾
In your Dad's defence.
Half a bottle is Shit loads 😂😂😂😂
lol it is 😂

Thank you Keith
Nice work 👍 It’s hard to believe that it is possible to do that much within 2 hours 😊
But please tell the owner to remove all that s**t from the keyhanger - Way too much weight for the ignition lock.... It’ll wear out before time 🤷♂️
Thanks Peter, tell me about it. those keys definitely don't fit in your pocket lol
