    As my joycar is a 1969 Alfa Romeo gt junior, my everyday is a Benz W169. Its like a small van, and i put alot of different things inside it. And i hate that it has carpets, even in the trunk.
    Having a carpet in a car is like having a carpet inside the frontdoor in your house. 😅. All dirt and stuff get on it. Rubbermatts help a bit.
    No carpets or sound deadening in the Alfa tho, and easy to clean.

      Thank you. To be honest of you go for ph neutral snow foam and shampoo it will keep it looking it's best for longer. Nothing really wrong with stronger foam and shampoo unless you used it every single week for a long period of time. Also remember pressure washers measure the bar pressure from the tip of the lance so if you stand back and pressure wash any wrap you won't just rip it off unless you held it really close. Most wraps are good enough to last 3+ years

    • @epicautomotivedetailing
      @epicautomotivedetailing  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you. It helps having the go pros but 4+ years of filming makes it easier. That's a good question because I wasn't as thorough on the interior and because it was free perfection wasn't necessary. If I was charging for a full valet I would spend longer and do things like remove tar but if you aim for at £150 at a starting price then for 3-5 hours you could potentially do ok but like I said it wasn't me at my best as it was just a clean for a pre sale . Snow foam is a waste of money

    • @epicautomotivedetailing
      @epicautomotivedetailing  6 місяців тому +5

      Ok so let me just make this very clear for you so you can get a better understanding of what snow foam does. you have 2 types of foam: Ph neutral and Alkaline.
      Ph neutral is a gentle foam with very little cleaning power but its safe on everything like matte paint.
      Alkaline is stronger and pretty much safe on all surfaces but long term with regular use you could argue it may dull the paint (but in reality not in most peoples lifetime)
      As you can clearly see in this footage I applied a citrus pre wash to the lower third of the vehicle. That pre wash breaks down the dirt. The longer the dwell time the better the performance, The layering of foam reactivates the chemical to keep it dwelling for longer.
      the job of foam isn't to solely remove the dirt. I's to soften up & loosen the dirt. It will then act as a lubricant in between the wash mitt and the surface of the car if you decide to apply a second hit of foam for the contact wash.
      Some foams cost as little as 50p if you break down the cost per wash. I get it though for some people they may just jump in with a contact wash after a rinse and that's fine if that's how they want to do it, I won't judge... But for me this is how I do it and it works perfectly
      Honestly foam does work, you just need a clearer understanding of its role within car cleaning. Hope this helps 🙏
