Ben, thanks for the truthful review. So many of the other reviews are glowing without listing any of the negatives. You're the only review that speaks of the occluded rear camera view which is kind of a big deal. Great job.
Nice video and thanks for highlighting the issues. Is there a way to bring the camera further down by using a spacer or something similar to solve the camera issue?
You can cut the yellow wires if you don't want the blinker function. However, I haven't bought it because it also shows an animation when it first turns on, including when you are running day light running lights and you brake. The bar will function as a brake light, but will do an animation first because it 'turns on'
and isn't it enough to just unplug the yellow pin from the cable from the installation instead of cutting it? do you perhaps have any contact to you? the people from the service are not helping me much with this and I want to eliminate these indicators, but I don't know exactly which yellow cable I'm talking about, because there are several of them there. is it the one that goes directly to the lamp (there are 4 - red, black, yellow and white). or is it enough to unplug the yellow one?
Hi Bryan, I came across this video after buying what looks to be the same one. Issues with Camera angle are a real issue, the backup guide lines are pointing upwards. I think the issue is the bar doesn't sit far enough up to be flush against the existing holes. Did you solve this ?
@@richardhc76 you are correct that the light bar is down about an inch from the existing holes, but due to the camera needing to be exposed that is a necessity with this product. The camera needs to be lower than the bar as you are already aware that the camera is being blocked on the top part so that’s why in the video I say there should be an additional adapter that lowers the camera even further, but then at that point it probably would look a little odd
Thanks for pointing out your valid concerns.

Thanks for pointing out these issues. They’re deal breakers.
