Hiking to the Best View in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Mirador el Cerro de la Cruz)

I hope you enjoy this scenic hike through the narrow cobblestone and steep streets of Puerto Vallarta! Mirador el Cerro de la Cruz is a short but steep hike in Puerto Vallarta that offers panoramic views of the entire city and all of Banderas Bay.
Since we were staying in the Romantic Zone close to the river (Isla Cuale), we started from the pedestrian bridge that crosses over into the Gringo Gulch neighborhood.
Come along with us as we stroll passed the white bridge from Elizabeth Taylor's house, the lush gardens, unique streets, mini-viewpoints along the way, and then the final ascent to the top.
If you're starting from the Malecon, start at Abasolo street. We took our time and took lots of photos and videos along the way so it took us about 45 minutes to get to the top. If you're in shape and don't really stop, it will probably take you 20 minutes.
Bring lots of water!! And try to go early in the morning or wait until just before sunset. It gets hot!
This Puerto Vallarta hike is one of the best free things you can do in the city!

Thanks for sharing I'm currently in Puerta Vallarta and went up to this stunning view around 530 and was hoping to go back up after dinner when the sun is setting to get a night time view not sure if I will make it.Might have to go tomorrow night we will see.
