It is beautiful! Nice job! Love the creativity for sure! And you did a great job unloading the furniture with good body mechanics. Keep up the good work👍
Wow, you remind me of another Scandinavian woman I know. 32 yrs ago my wife & I had a conversation about tearing down an old shed on our first house property. I came home 10 hrs later and the shed was gone. I quickly learned that my wife was not going to wait for me to help her do anything. I very much admire your 'get er dun' attitude.
Hiya, yet another great piece of great furniture! Love it! If you built a trolly with the top the same hight as the tail board you could pull stuff out onto it, wheel it in, then unload at your leisure or get Chet to help but at least spin it around to ease the job... Stay safe... Steve...
You need to get your hubby to weld up a frame on wheels, and then buy a power lift gate. Instal on to frame ( with frame supports). Then you can slide furniture out of box, and power gate down and opposite loading ..........cheers
Hey buddy I had a friend she passed away years ago but she was so much into doing crafts and stuff and she would go to like Columbus Ohio Dayton Ohio Indianapolis Indiana Louisville Kentucky the bigger shows and she would set up and make 3 4 $5,000 off of bird houses and light switches and little tables she would make the top look like marble with using paint and the legs she would put a flower pot on one of the bottom legs and use paint and make it look like Vines going up she would put little frogs and different things it was just really cool man and I love seeing your craftsmanship you're pretty awesome homie❤👍👍👊👊👊✊✊
Well that turned out really nice! I think I would look into finding a lift system of some sort, whether electric or pressurized, with the top platform being as wide as the back of a truck, with adjustable depth on the platform.....I bet Chet and his dad could come up with something!! You don't want to drop a customers antique heirloom!!
I really like it Nicole! I think the transfers was a great idea and adds a lot to the piece. That's one of the reasons I really enjoy watching your videos. Your very creative with how you restore your pieces of furniture. Thanks for allowing me to sit in and watch! I guess I will head over watch and see what Chet has been doing! Have a great evening.
I have got to ask......how did you get that chest in the truck by yourself?????👀 I mean, breaking down a truck tire is one thing but for a woman who looks as pretty as you to be dead lifting furniture.....MAN, what do you EAT in Minnesota????👍 Chet is one lucky guy! Admire your work.
Hahaha your very kind!! I often am underestimated for my size that I “can’t lift that” and I’m like well I normally load it by myself so🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ 😂 but thank you!
7:34 a hair dryer might help. A heat gun works when doing automotive stuff like sticking on trims with glues or making pinstripe tape or window tint behave... Sticky stuff likes heat/warm/clean surfaces to cling to. Helpful hints.
Hiya Nikki, I remember those pulls from the late 60's, Space time with those meant to represent a comet going around a planet. What a lovely piece you ended up with. I've watched a ton of videos on distressing pieces. They were full of, "I use this chalk paint." Or, "I always use this milk paint." You just seem to use wet paint! All of those videos were full of pretentious house wives full of BS! They came out with, "I always follow x's way of doing it she is the best... " You just make every single bit of furniture work in it's new cloths... ALL OF YOURS WORK IN A TOTAL ORIGINAL WAY... You don't copy you originate!!! I don't know if I've said this before but if I win the lottery I'm buying a supper yacht & I want you to do the insides in a beach comber type style, but your way... I will follow summer all year & you two will always be welcome to come & de-frost any winter. Stay safe...Steve...
Think of how much easier that would've unloaded if the legs were facing the tailgate. Oh just heard your explanation, sorry, posted the comment before you explained lol. I was squirming while you were unloading, I couldn't help myself, oh well.
Need to invest in a sicer jack table on wheels to load and unload by yourself or have you chet make you one using old sicer jacks out of the junk yard weldin one ontop of another to be able to reach the truck bed highth .and a screw gun with the right socket on it to work the sicer jacks fast and easy . Call your local junk yard ask them to find you 8 matching jacks . Ya they will probably hit you for $10 each but life will be so super easy for you if you can get chet to build you a table to unload and load with .
you want to get yourself a high lift hand fork truck they can lift up till 1 ton and is super handy for loading and unloading plus if you attach a sheet to the forks you can use it as a bench which saves you back on having to bend down to sand you can just pump up the truck till the high required even a good secondhand one would work for you as its not needing to lift heavy weights
Checkout the hydraulic lift cart at Harbor Freight Tools. I use one to load and unload heavy stuff from the back of my truck, just raise it to the height of the tailgate, slide it on the cart , wheel it where you want it then lower the cart and tip it off. Get the 500 lb capacity cart you’ll be glad you did. With the 20% off coupon they’re about $200 and well worth it. I added a piece of 1/2 inch plywood to mine to make the top 4 inches wider and longer to help with the bulkier items.
Well I subed to your channel Nicole because I really get a kick out of Chet and Dougo ! Even EriK with a K is a good addition to the video's and I hate people that run train's ! Ha Ha . Heis the first person with a enginerring degree that can actually work with his hand's .
Great looking Dresser!! You are a lady of many different jobs! Keeping Chet in line is the biggest job you have I’m sure!! Lol Thank you for the video! Look forward to the next one!
Get you a couple of saw horses that you could set up at the back of the truck to slid the piece on. Then you can set it down to the ground where it it is not in such an awkward position. Great job on not giving up and getting your problem resolved and getting it unloaded. What did you to clean the piece with to get dust and everything off of it before using the primer?
Was not sure at first. Then you put the knobs on and it all come together. The size of the original knobs helped also. A smaller knob wouldn't have worked. Looks great.
You caught me off gaurd with the design on that piece. When I saw you stop painting part way down I was like whaaat??? Then came the stencils and I was like heck NO!!! Seeing it finished you made it work and I am still scratching my head!!! So I was thinking what about just prepping a few pieces and let the customer design exactly what they want....might be a way to avoid the great piece but, the color doesn’t work etc.. Thanks for the video!!
Haha thank you for your thoughts! Yeah I do custom orders to whatever a client wants, but normally they have to pick out the piece cuz nobody can see past what it looks like originally!
You need a small truck cart from harbor freight,it got wheels on it and nice flat table you raise it up to just side your project right on it ,,,it make a great help ,,,,,very nice turn out I like it
@@nicolesuntoldgold6239 hydraulic table cart its called just looked it up they have to kinds ,then have chet or dugo make some modifications to it and you will have a extra set of hands with out he being listen to someone going o my back lol
You guys are so inspiring in my life right now, 2023, because of the Larsen family. I am making changes in my life!
Love seeing these older videos of Nicole. Prayer for all of the family. 🙏🏻
Wow two Larson videos within 30 minutes. Hmmmm which one do I watch first, Nicole wins out but dont tell Chet. LOL.
Hahaha thank you😁 I won’t tell!!
Beautiful ...... Very Beautiful.....
Damn Chet your wife makes you look like a slacker! Step it up bud.
I am glad that you got it of the truck in one piece, How ever I went into cardiac arrest watching you do it.
I'm glad you kept the pulls for that dresser, you do really beautiful work.
Great work Nicole,looks beautiful

Love it! Absolutely beautiful and creative! Plus I thought “nice to see a woman with common sense! She knows how to do things by herself in a pinch!”

That piece you unloaded looked really interesting. I’d like to own that!
It is a antique side by side secretary. Very pretty piece!
Nicole's Untold Gold hope to see a video on that!
Really proud of you using your mirrors to back up. Most people think they are just to make your truck look good. Good job.
Lol thank you!! Have to use your mirrors when your backing a trailer and i do that often so it’s habit ☺️

Hey Nicole,
Just came across your channel and love your content and style!
Wanted to see you do a cold start video if you know what I mean?
What do you want cold started?
Nicole's Untold Gold
Do you have multiple chainsaws, mowers , generators or outboard motors you can cold start in videos yourself?
@Slow Pedro sorry guys but I don't have anything that sits outside to cold start.

Nicole you should look at getting a lift gate put on your truck. Makes loading/unloading items a lot easier when you are by yourself.
Thanks for the recommendation!! I’m gonna look into a few options to see if I can solution this issue!

What happen to leaving wood with it natural colors bc it's alright to pain wood but in my opinion furniture looks better with its natural colors
When you do furniture as a business you do what sells, so if it’s a loud color season then that’s what I do☺️
