There’s a band from Taiwan called Greedy Black Hole and like the music is great and the vocals are solid but due to her singing in English there’s a lot of like hmm straight forward lyrics. Like no metaphors or anything so it does take away something. Even with taking into account it’s not their first language.
Yeah it definitely doesn't feel the same. Noticed that with one BabyMetal song that was in English. Also an Unlucky Morpheus song. Like the melodies don't flow as well as they would in their 1st language.

When I saw them at knotfest, the vocal said his largest influence was Deftones. But I thought they were definitely influenced by Green day too.
