The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy S24 Ultra are both top Samsung flagship phones, yet they couldn't be any more different despite sharing a ton of components. Galaxy S24 Ultra might be the better option since there haven't been significant improvements to the Z Fold 6's camera setup. One is foldable, symbolizing the eccentric present and exciting future, while the other is arguably the finest example of the conservative old era of smartphone design.

I'm on the fence. I have a S24 ultra and it's a beast. However, I do want the Z Fold. Ugggggg😮
I used to have the Fold 4 and I do def miss it. HOWEVER, the camera, battery, and build qualities were so very mid. The inner screen also broke on me 1 year into use with no drops. I can't believe they haven't majorly upgraded at least these 3 things
i have the fold 4 and I’m definitely considering the s24 ultra. The Only thing I don’t like of the Z fold 4 that I still see on the z fold 6 is the small outer screen. typing on that screen is not good. its best for one hand typing than two. The design of the Fold was to force you to use the inner screen. despite that, I do love my z fold 4 and it works like a charm. is just the candy bar form factor. I would be happy if the outer screen at least would have been 6.5 in wide
@@Dedseqgot a hands on with the fold 6 yesterday. The outer screen is 3mm wider and slightly shorter. On paper sounds pretty unimpressive, but when you're actually holding it, it is a very noticeable improvement.

I can definitely relate, but from my experience i went from the fold 4 to the s23 ultra to the fold 5 and so far to the s24ultra. I love the large screen of the folds, but until they update battery size, camera quality, s pen slot, and spen use on the outer display then it will outshine the s24 ultra line in my opinion.
Fold needs a built-in s pen and the same camera module as the S24 Ultra before it can compete with it.
Not everyone wants the s-pen. If you want that you get the s24 Ultra.
Swapping the s24U for fold 6. Ebeyone arguing about 100x zoom. When was the last time you zoomed 100x? But you do look at the screen hourly... Big screen ftw. If it sucks, trade in for a S25U. No brainer.
I have the S24 ultra and the S9 ultra tablet. Why should I. Have to opt for a phone with a Crease up the middle?
Unless you will be using the inner screen extensively, the S24U is a no-brainer.
Had the 24 ultra since launch and just ordered the fold 6 as well. Why choose only one?
I feel Samsung is in a difficult position. They have a foldable phone that they can't apply Ultra type cameras to, as sales of the s24 Ultra would drop. And it's their only true iPhone competitor.
So they're stuck in this grey area, where customers seek and want more and complain.
I love both, but the Z Fold 6 looks really good
I’m fully on iPhone (14) and Ultra 2 watch. I’m genuinely thinking of selling both, getting the Samsung ultra watch, ring and phone. Just not sure on S24 Ultra / Flip / Fold.

Thanks for the breakdown. I need to upgrade from my S21 Ultra and as much as I like the foldable, I think I have to go for the S24. The inferior camera, lack of an integrated S-pen and the narrower externa screen on the Zfold6 are all deal breakers at that price point. For that premium price, I want their top lone camera, and include the S Pen. I could even live with the narrower expertnal screen if they'd give me two out of the 3.

Honestly I love the format of the zfold 6 when close. I hope they keep the squared design aesthetic it is so much better and makes them distinct from other phones.
Compared to Honor latest offering Magic V3, Z Fold6 looks like a baby.

My Z Fold 3 has the One UI 6.1 ANDROID 14. It does circle to search and highlights. My Galaxy S24 Ultra will be here by Tuesday.

I got 5 more payments on my fold 4. I think ill keep it and upgrade next year.
I traded that in for the Fold 6 and I am happy I did! Got 1000.00 dollars for the Fold 4 and Pais 740.00 before taxes for the 6 which is a no brainer.
But. What I have found is that reverse charging doesn't work if you fit a rear protective cover? And, Hmmm. The Battery on the Galaxy 6 watch is pretty poor. Needs to be charged twice a day

I love the Fold 6 refined features but after trying it out at Best Buy today it still is plagued with a to narrow cover screen to use as my daily driver. so I'll just keep my iphone.
Why not make the cover screen huge so you can complain it's too big then it's opened up..

All z4 owners trade in offer is too good to ignore, send it before is too late and the phone die in your hands by normal use... flex / hinge 😢
When the price reaches the Ultra price Fully dust resistant Ultra camera then I will consider the Fold but to me S24 Ultra is the GOAT

Tried a fold with youtube videos are actually smaller when in tablet mode. Real disappointment.
That's because idiots are always asking Samsung to make it with a wider cover screen, ruining the inner aspect ratio over the last 4 generations. The inner screen is still good for productivity and multitasking though.
Exactly what I discovered today. I went to the store with my iPhone 15 pro max and figured out that in horizontal level my iphone display larger video then big fold screen is capable of doing because of its dimension😮. This phone is absolutely useless as long as you are not a book reader, but still I would choose ebook reader instead phone.
@@Lincandoubtyou I just went from the F4 to F6 and while the picture is indeed smaller in video it's still useful for stuff like multitasking and productivity. Not important if all you want is to watch videos though lol. But taking notes is so much better than on a S24U with the baby pen they put in that phone lol.
@@alphaspartan I agree with your point, that is why this is not phone for people who are looking for entertainment. This is phone for people who works and need to quickly sign some document, read something on bigger screen or as you mentioned multitasking like seeing some pdf and chatting someone on whatsapp. But not for entertainment!
Z fold 6 is their top tier though,. 24 Ultra is an excellent S series.
I'll get the Fold 6 and next upgrade would be after 5-7 yrs if it didn't break on its own 😆

Why do not you say that big screen is literally unusable? I was today in the store to check size of this big screen compering to my iphone 15pro max in horizontal level. And guess what? I could not watch anything on youtube/netflix or whatever that would be larger then watching anything on iphone or samsung flagship in horizontal position. The dimension of the open/big display of fold6 is just too small to display any video in full screen without cutting 20% of the actual video. The same thing happens when you open tiktok but this time you see black on left/right side. Dimension of the screen let you browse websites and read anything comfortably. So as long as you are not a reader, this phone and this screen is absolutely useless. Go to the nearby store and see yourself, because on youtube materials it is not visible that much. On big fold screen you watch youtube video in dimension of 6,3” phone in horizontal position. And for that you have to much almost double the price of flagship.
Fold 6 is a killer
Camera quality is inferior,smaller battery,cheaper glass,s Pen built in,i will take the s24u any day.Z fold is just a fancy thing in my opinion

@@alphaspartan there is nothing buying this phone, I’m also tempted with fold for the past couple years but i just believe that it’s not for me and i also mentioned few reason why the i still prefer the regular phone. Well i don’t know where you from but being able to buy this phone doesn’t mean you’re rich because i can also afford it

I traded my S24U for the Flip 6..loving the improvements there and need a smaller form factor.
S24 ultra is more refined, but Z fold have more flaws. I would chose s24 ultra

using fold since fold3 .after fold 4, it's absolutely the best multitasking giant.currently using fold 5. I absolutely love . the screen creases don't bother at all .

It's still a piece of crap compared to the competition with 98% parts from the older generation and at a higher price, as far as I'm concerned, Samsung phones are a thing of the past, but mostly because they make fun of Apple and do the same thing only a year later and for the last few years they've only been doing copy paste.

I have the S24 Ultra! Its better than any Z Fold! S24 Ultra have better cameras, 100x maximum zoom which the Z Fold doesn't have! Z Fold 6 uses the same cameras as the regular S24! Only 3 cameras! Z Fold 6 is a very overpriced phone! Buying a Z Fold 6 is like buying 2 S24 Plus
I might take a few pics a week at most, I use the bigger inner screen more times in a day than I can count. The 100x zoom is just a gimmick and pretty worthless overall. Honestly if I'm not doing a detailed side by side comparison of photos, I can't tell any difference in quality.
@@202ack exactly, the 100x and the telephoto whatever are just gimmick for me the important thing is the usage of the phone and fold 6 have 2 usable screens compare to s24 ultra only 1.
You talking like you use that 100x zoom on a daily basis lol. When was the last time you needed to zoom 100x? But I guarantee you looking at the screen everyday. Bigger screen ftw.
It still amaze me how people spend over $2k on a phone with such a bad screen solution. It's the worst piece of s**t quality you can get as for now.
