I have another that is often recommended for low light spots, yet loves a very sunny window! Sansevieria (now Dracaena), the common snake plant. I'm from the Caribbean, and we grow them outside, in 90-100 degrees weather, "summer" year-round. They are often planted en masse and used as hedges and foundation plantings against house walls.
Just this last summer I placed a pothos in a planter that stayed pretty wet and in full sun for at least 6 hours and it did well. The growth was all golden, even the green parts were a very golden green. I was pleasantly surprised 😊💚. Thank you for another great video ❤. Oh and it was outdoors.
Love that you go for knowledge and readily available plants instead of trends and "rare" plants. Would love a video specifically about succulents, they're kind ot neglected in the "plantfluencer" world. Great channel!🎉
Thank you for your always informative videos! I watch all the time! Some ideas for other topics: pests and controlling them, soil substate comparisons (standard mix, coco coir, fern fiber), and different typdes of roots (water, soil) and how to deal with them in substrate. Thank you guys!
Hi, Thank you for your advice. I love the way you explain. When you say direct full sunlight, what temperatures you have in mind? Asking because I live in Karachi, Pakistan where temperatures in summer goes up to 42 Deg C with high humidity.
My nicolai got one big leaf at the beginning of summer and since then it’s just as it is. Out of nowhere one of the lower leaves turned yellow very quickly and I cut it off. Don’t really know why it’s not giving any more leaves - tried to dry it out and watered it again but nothings happening..
Someone overwatered my ponytail palm, which roots sat in water for some weeks. It took an age to dry out. Still some green leaves, but most turned brown. What are the odds for recovery?
Dry it out completely, I guess about 50/50, you can check roots and remove mushy parts, if present, wash the original pot and pot up in fresh new medium and dispose of old one (it can contain rot inducing bacteria 😉) best of luck ❤

They're very common, as houseplants, even in Northern Sweden. Wonderful plants that can _definitely_ thrive during our summers.

Hi,
Thank you for your advice. I love the way you explain.

You don't seem to be using pumice any more?
Hi, Is Adenium a full sun plant as well ??
Yes, it grows well in direct sunlight
My nicolai got one big leaf at the beginning of summer and since then it’s just as it is. Out of nowhere one of the lower leaves turned yellow very quickly and I cut it off. Don’t really know why it’s not giving any more leaves - tried to dry it out and watered it again but nothings happening..
What about english ivy, should we put it in southern window
No, they like shade, but variegated ones can have more light, but not sun! ✌️

"direct sunlight indoors" literally something none of us get
Speak for yourself.
sun rays can hit the inside of your room, especially close to a window. So plants that stand in these spots, get direct sunlight.
Most of my plants are dying one by one, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I had them for years suddenly all are dying 😔😔
Sometime they reflect our own mental state... I hope you're doing okay ❤
Check for thrips. It took me a while to realize that's why mine were dying out of nowhere
How about plants that can tolerate cold temperatures?
How cold? Dou you mean freezing?
