Before CC I could not name 4 WNBA players but now I watch as much as I can and have several new faves to watch. Thank you CC

I didn't think what the Villanova player did to Paige was a foul either. But it's interesting that people were talking about adding it to the rulebook - specifically rolling into someones legs. I just don't know how that's controllable, if you dive onto the floor. Unfortunate what happened, and wish Paige all the best.

It’s not controllable and not done on purpose.

@lindysmallwood2039 yeah. i totally get she was frustrated, but i have to admit that paige yelling it should've been a flagrant didn't exactly help.

During her freshman year, Geno told Holly Rowe on ESPN that Paige was "the next Diana Taurasi". He set her up to fail but loading such great expectations on an 18 year old.

No, no one is to blame - but it is fun to bash Geno Auriemma. 😜😜

CC22 is still in late in Iowa games is because they seem to can't bring the ball up and can't generate points if she's off the court until they had Molly. When CC22 (49)broke Hannah's (47) single game record, there was still a lot of time that CC22 could have easily broken Juju's (51) single game record. Also, because CC22 seems to love to play like 40mins if they let her.

Robin - You talked about stat padding and coaches taking players out. I remember a game when CC was being taken out for a breather and when she walked by the coach I could hear her angrily talking loudly. The only words I could make out were the last two, "40 minutes!!!!!" Still makes me grin and chuckle. She never wanted to come out.
Stat padding? Maybe, but I think it was just her competitive nature and love for playing the game.

Big uconn fan..Yeah, Paige called a foul I just think it was in the heat of the moment. Just a good hard play.

The room was deadly silent at that moment. That’s probably something players shout all the time to let the refs know but normally there is crowd noise and outdated rap or jock jam type music playing so you don’t hear it.

Lack of knowledge in basketball is most of the problem so they are trying to blame someone

I would be curious to know how many times Iowa was up by 40+ points in the third quarter. Even with CC I watched her all of her senior season and while some were comfortable wins none were ever “blow outs.”

Best 3 guard tandem in college. ND. Sarah is the head of the snake. She’s a beast. Hopefully you don’t have a vote for player of the year. 😃. What about JuJu fans? OMG. You can’t critique her

Waddup Robin. Been away for a bit. I’ll drop by one of the lives soon enough as I’m catching up on hoops. As far as late game play from Juju, people wanna see her play. I think any further than that. I’m not really caring about Juju beating records. If she does she does. Juju also, sees the free throw line plenty. She pulls plenty of double and triple teams, so we probably won’t see Caitlin’s record broken for a while. Player development in a couple years has gotten crazier. Van Lith is playing better ball and not getting fried. My thoughts.

Robin, while I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion, dude, what are you smoking??? Hannah is 1 and Ta’Niya Latson is 1B, then Olivia, Lauren, Ju Ju and so on. Hannah and Ta’Niya are clearly leading the pack. Stop drinking the Ju Ju and Paige Koolaid!

Women’s basketball is different than men’s basketball. There is no gold bucket for every player that’s good. Transfer, I wish her well.

I'm guessing all McMiller's teammates who can be seen standing around while she dribbles the life out of the ball repeatedly won't be sad to see her hit the portal. Her dumping on her coach and team publicly just shows an egregious lack of character.

I would love it if an adult could tell me what is so appealing to adults about professional wrestling? Just the entertainment factor? Nostalgia?
To be fair, WWE is less rigged than the WNBA finals last year but still, I don’t understand why it’s considered a sports product. I totally get why kids like it and that’s great. But when I hear so many adults take WWE seriously and even bet on it, I just don’t get it.

@@ericMT i dont watch wrestling, but i see the appeal. colorful characters and gripping story arcs. its like reality TV, in a way. all entertainment kinda boils down to the same fundamentals. like robin said, it's "sports based entertainment". its less focused on genuine competition, but some people will love seeing two massive men (or women) slam into each other no matter what. 💥

    I don't know what.
Happened at Rutgers, Has to be beyond basketball. And if she's so good. How come she wasn't highly recruited by the big schools? Maybe she wanted to stay home, I don't no just putting it out there.
