Strange coincidence, maybe, I listened to Laid in its entirety today for the first time in many years. The lyrics meant more now as a married woman & mother to two sons. I was immature when this album was initially released & had no understanding of life. Heard it with new ears. Was always drawn to Wah Wah, even as a teenager as something that sounded different. Yet to 're hear' that album with life experience under my belt. I'm probably about the same age now as when you guys wrote & composed life's experiences. A testament to life & how it goes on & on. Not much changes. The frustrations in life we all experience. It's unique to every individual but common connections prevail in supporting each other. Much love to all of you that connect xxx
