    That was inspirational, trust yourself is the message. It just show how good your diagnoses was that the other repair shop couldn’t fix so passed it on to you, great, that will show them!

    A few years ago I was working as a break fix engineer for a Dell partner, pretty much just visiting business customers replacing motherboards. There was always a hold your breath moment when powering up for the first time, the diagnosis had been done by Dell over the phone. A lot of the newer laptops would do this when first powered up, no display, restarting etc. I would be about to call tech support when suddenly the Dell logo would appear. Love watching your work. It's nice to see someone actually working to component level

      Need Help from motherboard experts.
      My Dell e7470 was damged from dock area. All motherboard is working fine and laptop is booting but the dock area gets very hot and spark.
      I don't want to dock in my laptop. Is there any way that i can disconnect the dock area from power.
      The dock area is a separated slice in motherboard.

    The CD3301B only control the DC in , selecting between DC In and the dock connector.I have 4 Dell laptop with this problem one I had to run 7 wires under the chip.you were very lucky that the chip didn`t burn a hole in the motherboard , one burned all the vias around the chip.The chip doesn't create any voltage it takes 3.3v ,5v and 19V and detects if the power comes from DC in or the dock connector

    When it comes to later Dell Laptops e.g. XPS13 93x0, beside real hardware issues as in this Video, they sometimes stuck in a endless boot-reboot-keyboard lights on/off loop. This is due to a crappy bios (insydeH2O) in combination with some security checks. For instance, due to security checks or corrupted bios regions (Mainly the ME-Region) they turn off after powering. Here, it is sometimes necessary to replace the entire Bios by a donor dump. But mind, the latest Dell Notebooks got more than one SPI. In most cases, there are actually three and the binaries from each SPI needs to be replaced.

    • @aneezaliyar1901
      @aneezaliyar1901 5 років тому

      Probably, the date issue is because of the bios battery..
      Try re-installing the driver or try to get the original version of the driver from official website. Or try exchanging the antenna cable on the wifi card.

    People, I have a HP Pavilion laptop, new PSU Brick and new ( copy) battery. Plug them all in and power socket led goes White then Yellow for 12 sec then White again, Battery voltage 15.6 on charge. Win 10 shows 100% charged. Disconnect PSU brick, laptop dies voltage on battery drops immediately to eventually 0v.
    I have 19, and 3.3v rails. Checked battery out of laptop and voltage on output 14.5 v (14.4v battery) but if I try and power an led (10mA current) output voltage goes on and off in 4 sec intervals. Anyone seen this effect with these batteries. I think replacement battery is faulty, maybe.
