Indeed, I'd really like to see it. Just imagine it: Neo dodging the bullets from the weapon he got in Gun Gale; epic mid-air martial arts v. sword battle using Kirito's ALFheim wings; the moment when Kiroto comes back from dying in the digital world to try and land one last shot at Neo before things fade away; it would be awesome.

Commissioner here. Starting off, huge condolences to Brandon for what happened, please support as best you can, either vibe wise or monetarily. Dude does not deserve what happened to him but I'll know he'll recover from this.
On to the track, what we have here is the third MU to have a track from both Brandon and Therewolf (I commed this December of last year btw), and honestly, Brandon did just as good imo. Makes sense considering this was the MU he chose out of the options I gave him. Huge shout outs to Info and Nahtony as well.
Anyway, this MU is one that means a lot to me, and one that is LONG overdo considering both characters are HUGE requests and this is the MU for both. 2 nobodies irl turned black clad chosen warriors of the virtual world, who fight to free everyone from their digital prisons. Both also having the uncanny ability to bend the very worlds around them to their will. Not much connections wise but for a MU like this, not many are really needed. This is a MU where you just get it by looking at it lol. Imma stop now, thanks to all and enjoy.
p.s: and yes, Kirito wins btw (SAO light novels go brrr)

If we believe the book, Neo never truly escaped. His body is still just a power source for the Matrix. If we don't, Neo's powers as The One work even in the real world, and Kirito loses _hard_ once things progress to the real world fight (since the digital fight is not going to end very conclusively).

I'd agree, but I haven't seen the later seasons and spinoffs of it so I don't know for sure. But knowing that he's supposedly some reincarnation of an ancient magical person or some sort of craziness, I wouldn't be surprised if he had feats to pull him up to that level.

Bro Neo vs Kirito would definitely be interesting. Both can essentially hack the system so it comes down to battle experience in which Kirito may have the advantage. The track is awesome though so hopefully it gets turned into Death Battle.
Finally, a good SAO matchup. I don't get why many people pit him against Guts
It's all fun and games until Kirito accidentally kills Neo's dog.
At that point, he's playing survival horror.
Alright, as someone that went through that, you must leave that house quickly. When they see that's possible to get on a house easy, they'll do it again, as is seen as an easy shot. Trust me, it happened to me. And is not fun not to sleep because one staying on guard. Even if you catch them, unless you have no real way to stop, won't matter. You'd putting yourself on danger.

The power difference between the two really depends on what you buy, but Kirito does hold a few solid advantages over Neo, chief among them being better survivability and of course, being faster.
