His control and general vocals have improved so much over the years. It's been a joy to follow his journey since the sing off. I knew since I first heard him there was a depth there that he just wasn't getting to unleash, while I miss him in Pentatonix, I'm really enjoying his solo stuff.
I also missed him in PTX but I am also happy that he gets to follow his type of music. Love him.

He wasn’t really part of ptx. He stood on the outside, and as a back up. Mostly cause the style of music they loved wasnt soe,thing he loved.
But also cause he is a bass, and its what people want. I see the VIP “oh, can you sing a really low note for us”? Or clapping when he goes really low in concert, like a trick poney. Who would want that? Its not fulfilling.
But to chart your own path. Write and arrange songs that speak to you..thats the path he is on.
I dont miss him with ptx, cause i never loved ptx, beyond “oh that’s really neat”. Outside of their Christmas music, ive not listened to any of their stuff more than a few times, cause its vocally complex, but its pop and its covers. And i hope they continue to succeed, i do. I just am thrilled avi gets fo be an artist, not a bass.
To me, Avi is the personified peace of mind. His music (ps: in general) is so healing and calming, it fills your heart with so much warmth, hope and love 💜

Same, if you would’ve told me 5 years ago this is the type of music I’d listen to if laugh in your face! But there’s something about Avi that hits me in a different way then metal does! It hits me in the same general area as metal but some a lot deeper!

A wonderful way to end my day is listening to Avi's smooth as chocolate low gentle voice! It's a balm to the soul, "evens my keel", so to say. I just close my eyes, my head usually gently rocks, a slight smilie forms, and a lightening of my heart just makes me feel better. What a privilege it would be to spend just 15 minutes in his presence watching him work. An amazing talent, with a unique gift given by god that we are lucky he shares with us.

Its so crazy how each member of PTX had their own individual preferred genre yet as a group were so perfect together in pop genre. I love avi and I'm so glad he can make this type of music that makes him happy because this is so different than what he did all those years ago in PTX
Avi, this premiered as the same time a beloved friend was at the doctors. We feared he had suffered a stroke due to some memory issues. 1000 lb rock on me for over a week. Praise God there was no stroke only issue with blood sugar. Perfect timing. God bless you dear dear Avi.

I travel the country (Germany) for work and I listen to Avi on the road by myself. When this song comes, I sing along from the top of my lungs and cry my eyes out. Then I hit repeat a few times until all that needed to be felt was felt.
At first the song made me think of my last toxic relationship. Been single every since, 12 years ago. Then it made me think of the struggle with addiction, then with depression and now it's about the ego.
