- A day trip to Norfork Arkansas and a beautiful ride along the Arkansas White and North Fork rivers on the 2018 Yamaha FJR1300. Also a blast with the DB Killer baffles removed from the Delkevic Tri-Oval mufflers .
Haha, thank you! One of the requests was coming from me! Thank you very much! I'm just trying to find a FJR that I like so I can trade my Super Tenere in.
Hope you're doing well in these crazy times!
Nice sound.....smooth and even.
Nice ride! Nothing but smoke out here on the west coast.
thanks for watching... yes I am sorry to see you guys burning again. I keep thinking some day that there wont be anything left to burn out there... keep safe sir... :)
@@ozarksbackroads5484 @Ozarks Backroads Cali seems to be burning up every summer. I'm further north at WA/OR border. This is unusual here - locked into several days of strong, hot east winds. All kinds of stuff is burning, not just trees and grass. The air is pretty toxic.
We were just around Mountain Home during the Easter Weekend. Love that area.
Great view beautiful day,
Love the deep sound of that machine.
Thanks for sharing
I love the Norfork area great riding there. I always enjoy your videos. Hope your trip out west goes well safe travels!
Thanks sir.... :)
That is a beautiful area. Wife and I have been there twice to Gene's Trout Fishing Resort. Where you stopped should have been pretty close to the hatchery. Thanks for the memories. Hope to see you this summer..
thanks sir....
Hey John, just letting you know we are staying in Quarry Park campground on the Norfork River until this weekend. Then moving up the road for about two weeks. Then up to Table Rock Lake for a month near Blue Eye, MO. Hope to see you at some point. You can e-mail me at this, jwolfman48@msn.com. Thanks.
Another enjoyable video, Jon- thank you!
You should rev it up a little and let that inline 4 sing!
it sounds the same as my 07 FJR with the stock mufflers with the baffles removed
I just love your videos John. Hey, how about forgetting old B.R jumping that old bridge, and watch you do it on the mighty FJR or more feasibly the new Triumph. Tgat’d turn a few heads. LOL!
Ooooooh. :)
Go to Bull Shoals every year sense 94 beautiful areas! Haven’t ridden my FJR there yet maybe this year coming 2020 South Louisiana man.The drone works great.Safe Riding
thanks sir.... come on up.... :)
Thanks for all your posts. Is your fj as comfortable to ride as your versys?? That's two nice bikes to explore on. You keep posting and I'll keep watching. God bless.
thanks Keith, both bikes are really quite comfortable for long hauls, the FJR has higher foot pegs than the Versys so my legs need a stretch a little more often on it. The pegs on the crash bars work good to stretch out my legs on long rides. Both bikes are pretty good in the comfort department I would say. Thanks sir.....Jon Smith :)
Hi like your videos. Beautiful bike color. Which Delkovich trio also do you have. Are they the 17 inch. Did you have to get any bike mods to use them
Hello there, no they are the 13" and no mods are required, just slip on and go.... thanks.... :)
The video sums up what motorcycle riding is for.
I am heading south to Moab, should be there on June 15-16 before heading out west to follow the coast back up to Canada.
that's awesome, the PCH is on my bucket list for sure. I probably wont get to it for another year or two though.... have an epic journey... send a postcard..... :)
@@ozarksbackroads5484 I will probably take my GoPro, if I get some good videos I will post them and let you know.
What did you add to the bike to get it rideable long distances? Seat, windscreen, handle bars, foot pegs?
didnt change the foot pegs they were fine..... :)
Can’t tell any difference on the exhaust through phone speakers
I enjoy your ride while sitting in the snow here in Ohio but when you jerk your helmet cam back and forth at intersections I get kinda dizzy🤪
FJR sounds just right...
thanks sir... :)
i have a complete delkevic systeem on mij bike and now a hade 8pk more
nice.... thanks sir... :)
You could ride a 200+lb lighter adventure bike since you don't seem to need 145hp when you "blast" up to 3500rpm. Meanwhile, you seem to be a great guy to buy a bike from ;-)
