Thank you for this educative documentary. A great narrator with a perfect voice, inflection and tempo. It's a gift that you have or have learned.
It appears that animals may have bigger hearts than most humans these days, and more accepting
I completely agree!!
@@donaldothomosonwhy are they called savages tho? Because they kill other animals & eat them? Is that not what 86% of us humans do? 🙄
Well they don’t have to deal with people thinking they are different genders and what not lol
great old school documentary, focuses exclusively on the subject, not picture after picture of someone taking pictures or scribbling in a notebook
Yes and I like how they also take some brief time to look at other wildlife, but the focus is the monkeys.
The adults have such beautiful and exquisite colours of fur. I do Love the green monkeys, we lots in my Beautiful Caribbean Island of Barbadosthe . Very informative and interesting documentary
I'd be the one jumping and always missing the branch saying "my bad..I meant to do that"!! 😁
Whenever you seek a peaceful retreat real wild is just one click away 😁👌🔥
I think bojang gets a bad rap saying he agitated all the time he seems pretty chill just looking out for his tribe lol
And another good video. Thank you Wild Things!
Nicely done! Thank you. The more we learn the more we learn there is to learn!
And how little we know. So, more in-depth? Please!
Unique forms of symbiosis between species are common and wonderful!
So why call it bizarre? Words do matter. Celebrate and appreciate 'different'!
SMILE-TAG! You're IT... IT is permanent.
Help make the world a better place with every smile.
Judith Walker the relationship between these two species of monkeys cannot be considered symbiosis...and the narrator only meant that this type of interaction is extremely unusual..surely you understood that...
I've spent 4 years in the bush to get my PHD and the so called Green monkey are actually Vervet monkeys
I've watched 4;years worth of primate videos plus worked for two years at my local zoo and I concur. The green monkeys are vervets. Lol
Green monkeys and vervet monkeys look almost identical, and the terms are often used as interchangeable although they technically refer to two distinct but closely related species. I'm no expert, but one of the ways to distinguish them is the shape of the head - the green has a more protruding forehead compared to the vervet. At 5:41 the monkey definitely looks like a green rather than vervet, at least by the forehead. There's a possibility that the video is actually correct. The two types are so similar though, so its very understandable for either the video or for you even as a PhD to get them mixed up. If you're still certain that you're correct though I'd be interested if you could point out a physical difference that makes you confident in your assertion.
@kiki29073
I'm not sure if colobus are the 'kings' of the canopy. I'd say chimps hold that title.
you are really the friend on nature. hats off
Wonderful doc… a little story with it always makes it a little more interesting (for me anyways!) Cheers from South Africa 🇿🇦
You don't come across many monkey documentaries and this one was good. I am just not sure why you were calling the one monkey's green monkey's? I have always known them to be called Vervet Monkey's, but all in all a good show
Fantastic camera work and narration. Captivating.
Yet another interesting documentary. I Appreciate your channel. thank you
Wow...I found this channel by accident n I luv it 👌💖good video 👍🌷
I want to talk about the orangutans I want to see the orangutans
Wonderful video👏great documentary👍I really enjoyed it
Thank you.
Peace to all✌🙂🦋
It’s amazing how they naturally avoid inbreeding
I'm wondering how did they conduct documentary on wild animals in a close-up videos?
Such amazing animals. Sort of resemble the snub noses❤❤❤
Same family. Also relatives of the proboscis monkey and the douc langur.
Wow❤
Wow their features are so human-like, i've got a few mates who look exactly like Bojang, only theyr'e not as intelligent.....
no but you're warm....Australia
nice viewing close contact interchanges between the three different monkey species in this presentation, thank you ~
Great to watch documentary from the Gambia bravo
Damn that pattas**?monkey. Is amazing.. handsome and just gulps down eggs. Really neat monkey. Fastest monkey in the world. I have never heard of or seen one before. Neat
This intro made me think about the Loyal Bros album by Lil Durk & OTF 🤣🤣🤣
Auww it's so exlusive thank you so much for this video
Enjoyed This!!
Regrettable de regarder un beau reportage sur les primates et de ne rien comprendre adore les primates et c'est très très rare que ils soient traduit en français .
Pure and True..
The so called Greed monkeys are actually Vervet Monkeys. If you want to see more I highly suggest The Vervet Monkey Foundation or Vervet Forest here on UA-cam. There you can get alot of info as they are a sanctuary for Samango Monkeys and Vervets. Very interesting.
How can you tell the difference between a green monkey and a vervet monkey?
@@andrewb214 vervets are grey with black face coloration. I thought it was red at first, but after I got close I saw it was just blood from the bullet I put through its head during a hunting trip. Hope that helps!
@@MrTim223 Hey, thank you. Were you hunting them in South Africa?
From my understanding, Vervets are also called Green Monkeys. They are the same species, just different names in different parts of the continent
What kind of monkeys are there? Nvrming. Colobus(sp)
These monkeys are the most chill
ชอบครับได้ความรู้
และมีสาระมากมาย
The forest floor isn't "several hundred feet below" Redwoods in California are by far the world's tallest trees and they date back to an era before Christ. The tallest Redwoods are 310 feet or so. Maybe the trees in Africa that the monkeys are in are 150ft. But my guess is that would be about it.
Tłumaczyłeś wszystko na język Polski. Było super. Dlaczego przestałeś tłumaczyć?
It amazing how they jump from limb to limb sure the limb will support their weight super Monkeys....!!! Jus saying
Great video
It still baffles me that these are animals yet most if not all species of monkeys will not breed with relatives instead they leave the Troup to find eligible mates. No animals o know except a few types of mamals that mate for life exhibit this behavior. Dogs and cats as smart as they can be still inbreed if allowed to be around one another during the females cycle. So very much we don't and prob never will know about the brains of our monkey species. Idk if apes practice this as well but I assume so from the videos I've watched about them
Chimps favorite meal
Does anyone know who does the voice over?
4:26 did he just call Vervet monkeys green monkeys. Why?
False gibbbons are supreme acrobat
They are too cute
Good
Old School
I'm gonna sound like a stupid American and it's not important, I'm genuinely curious. In the 1st 2 minutes, is the name "Tamba" with no "r" after it, or is the the accent of the narrator adding an "r" that makes it sound like "Tambar" ?
I love seeing the mother's carrying the dead infants around for days like they just need new batteries or something
😅
Chimps eat them for dinner so sad
😅
3:01 3:02
Those are not Greens monkeys but Vervet Monkeys. Wish these narrator's would get it correct or don't post wrong metal in videos. Lip smacking is a form of communication
It's ok, it not like they were paid to produce an accurate documentary video or anything...
@@broctheil4744 You are correct, vervets are more common to S. Africa, the other lesser primates there are chocma baboons - and those awful things look nothing like vervets and tend to be much harder to kill
