This film features the spectacular Golden Monkeys, symbolic of China, and the rarely seen Tibetan Monkeys. China's monkeys have a unique place in Chinese folk-lore and mythology yet they now face threats from hunting and the destruction of their habitat. To combat hunting and poaching the Chinese authorities have brought in powerful legislation. A highlight of the documentary is footage of White-haired Langurs, so rare they have never before been captured on film.

Those monkeys seem so adorable and lovable , until they bare those teeth. OMG
Yeah At the end of the day they’re still damn monkeys ... monkeys are nasty 😂 and loud and disgusting .. tney throw fits constantly , screeching and screaming and going on and on for hours at a time , they will steal whatever , fight whenever , even Resort to killing Their own kind or young, they all wanna be 1st or2nd in command and live in drama constantly and are just imbalanced to begin with , despite any sort of monkey love haha .. they rub pee on their hands and they piss on their feet and rub it all over them and they pee and crap everywhere , get the shit scared out of them literally however many times a day & are as loud and irritating as anything can be and they look hideous and creepy and disgusting!! So all the lip smacking and grimacing and loud whining and crying and screeching sound and weird brow ridge movements and random facial expressions just don’t seem to get their monkey messsge across. Dang those snub nosed monkeys may have some diff. Brighter more diverse coloring options than most drab looking dull monkeys , but they sure do look like freaks .. scary looking
And dang , their torso is about as wide and long as a human being , so it’s creepy looking st their spider like too scrawny hands and legs protruding from their big square / cylindrical shaped abdomen / trunk with their nasty monkey asses protruding a good 5-6 inches or more outward beyond where their legs stick out .. they look so nasty and stank something fierce. Idk why anyone would ever try and obtain a damn monkey.

I respect the way of the real Chinese people because they value LIFE! HISTORY. They're respectful, the way I saw them treat just 1 of its animals the Golden monkey is so highly revered and they're treated as kings & queens of the mountains as Snow monkey's are in Japan.
The same real people who brought the world SARS and now COVID 19 and I just read that China announced another virus might be on the way! Sorry but I can't share your respect for people whose ways bring us these deadly viruses and kill millions worldwide with their pandemics. If they had done the right thing about the Covid when it first broke out, millions might be alive now. These people inflicted horrors on the world!! U can’t just look at one small area and act like it’s a widespread act of Wisdom and kindness and respect or decent behavior. Very self limiting , as well ... I hate to say it but wake up and take a bigger look around and actually do some research or spend some time in the world around u bc you’re assuming things that really are far fetched to assume. Yes after much pressure some efforts for conservation are being made but that’s polticslly driven agenda and propaganda going on ,too .. ya best believe that ... can’t just look at one tiny portion of something you’ve watched on the internet and formulate such an opinion ... very self limited .., and naive to think in such terms . Sadly as kind on the surface as some may seem, there’s a coldness that runs deep , where animals are being abused horribly. Where human children are not given love but only given discipline and structure seemingly but when anything or one lacks love - especially the knowledge of the love of God & anything else in their foundation that just helps someone to grow and to gain certain qualities thst cant come if they’re not shown actual genuine love and proper treatment toward themselves , how can they go on and actually feel that love and give it to anything or one around them ? I’ve seen some very ice cold human beings in the areas you’re assuming are just filled with such incredible mannerisms and ideals , where astoundingly , there is horrible abuse going on & an attitude of just using animals to benefit off off. Chinese medicine is quackery and that’s my medical opinion... they use such old world traditional ritualistic practices that do nothinggggggg and if they have any effect , it would be placebo , only ... they endanger animals and kill them and run risk of nasty zoonotic diseases being detrimental to human beings, should they spread across species into humans ... I do not feel that all Chinese folks take part in vicious acts and behaviors.. I don’t feel that all Chinese folks are devoid of love or whatever.. but I’m only discussing the MANY people who abuse monkeys especially, but other animals as well, that benefit off

I would love to go live with those Tibetan macaque there one of the few we know very little about its amazing how much different one species can be from another but all are incredible creatures

It’s intrusive and supposed to be illegal and I’d caution folks to not allow YT access to mic and camera , but they violate people’s rights and use that anyway and have denied it openly , but it’s been made known & proven that they’ve done it. Why not u cud train dogs ,cats , other species of monkeys like babbons orangutans ,elephants etc why wouldn't these be trainable with the right trainer and the right circumstances I'm sure it's possible. If it's not done on their will they are trained by pain and suffering (the reality of this cruel world 🙅🏾♂️) , it sucks but it is possible. One way or another. 🤦🏿♂️🙎🏽♂️🐒👆
