My grandfather was a professional mechanic. He passed 25 years ago and I inherited most of his tools - to include a LOT of Snap On. Unfortunately most of his ratchets were all but worn out. I couldn't bring myself tp get rid of them and hung onto them, just because they were Grandpa's. Fast forward 20 years and I learned that I can still get rebuild kits for all of them - some are from the 1950's! About $200 and an afternoon and ALL of my grandpa's Snap On ratchets are back in service!!!
