Wow ! You guys hit that one out of the park . I love the B 17 I'd tag - nice touch . The paint and decal job is very tastefully done and pays homage to the planes in the museum . You turned that tired old clunker into a show stopper - outstanding !
I've been trying to find a Taco Cart for ages. I'm an aircraft mechanic and those back cabinets are for hydraulic oil, engine oil, apu funnels ect. Great boxes
Awesome job. I had never heard of these until I saw this video. Went out and found one and I’m going to restore it. Where did you get the rubber for the wheels?

Excellent work. I'd have enjoyed helping on that. I built race cars 40 years ago NHRA
Where are you located? I've got one I'd love to restore!
That is a nice restoration, but I would have preferred it being Snap-On red.
Amazing restoration and upgrades!
Very nice work on both the cart and the vice.
Kra 562. I knew a few a&p mechanics that had those back in the day. Kind of an odd configuration but it worked well
Someone has a good eye!
@@thegovna4783 lol just an old So junkie. I've been into them for about thirty years.
Nice work turned out very smart and gave it a new lease of life. One point though how did you get the draw trims /handles off ?.
It was a pain and we use thin aluminum strips to pry them off with a hammer motion.
Great restoration! Hopefully its working out great for you.
Well it won 1st place, I use it everyday on the B-17 project! I’m currently making a military look-a-like XS650 motorcycle
Great toolbox
Thank you!
This is awesome
Phenomenal job!!
Why thank you, it took a lot of work but in the end I am proud of what I made with my classmates.
Great job!! Are you guys A&P school students helping out with warbird restoration? What an awesome setup you guys have!
Not an A+P school yet but we are getting there. This is our way around it.
Hey guys please I have a taco cart and am very curious as to how you guys refinished the rubber on the casters
It’s in another comment
Nice work, where did you find the rubber for the wheels
It’s in some of the other comments
Sorry for asking, but can you explain what makes the old wheels superior? I am trying to decide on which wheels to keep
The new ones are plastic and break under any load

I mentioned the website to another guy but it was an industrial supply company. Snap on sent me crappy plastic casters.

Interested in how you restored the handles, what was the tool you made?
Basically it was a 2 x 4 for backing plate with sandpaper and I think a piece of round stock, shoot me an email and I’ll send a pic of the process.
You lost me with the stupid masks.
We were forced to wear them at the time it was total horse crap!
Did you get the rivets Wet with PRC?? if you did not prepare for corrosion since Aluminum and Steel don't like each other....
😬 I didn’t consider that at the time… guess I’ll have to redo it 🤷♂️
Thanks for the tip!
