I’m so glad I went with the T300 alacantera set with 3 pedals. I got it from B&H for $449 and paid for next day shipping (came the next day as promised) it’s so smooth and nice and quiet pedals are great too

Thanks for the video man! I bought the Logitech couple months back and did not have a good experience and because of that It’s just sitting now collecting dust. I do not like the ffb on it because it feels fake and is very loud. After some research, I’m going to sell it then spend some more on t300rs gt for a more realistic experience.

Sent mine back after a week and moved up to the TX-XW base , wheel on this is way to small and felt to much like a toy , also afraid of the over heat issues so I just went to thrustmasters top of the line for a couple hundred more wit the rally sparco wheel.
bro if you get the magnetic paddle shifter and take out the springs for the paddles i think they feel so much better. they also sell a bigger wheel you can take that wheel apart and put the new one on for a more realistic car feel. oh ya the logitech gear drive is garbage to the belt drive it so much stronger and better trust i came form a g29
you cant adjust the brake face because of the brake bump stop mod for more resistance. It would have created a lot of torque and since the pedals are plastic in the back it would have been easy to break it. from what I have seen in other reviews like the Sim Racing Garage, the throttle adjusted closer to brake is enough for heel and toe braking.
I just bought this set as well, waiting for delivery, had a second hand Logitech DF Pro for ever, like 10 years. Hoping for a massive level up with my first "cockpit" as well. Got the NextLevel Racing Wheel stand 2.0 because I need a portable setup (not enough room for fixed one). Peace!

I had the T300RS but eventually went with the Fanatec DD Pro. DD Pro Silent operation, no belts, no plastic smell when it gets hot and works with PC, PS5. But it's more expensive than the T300RS. But DD Pro costs twice as much as the T300RS. Although, the hand brake is cheaper for Fanatec, $130 vs $300 for the Thrustmaster offering. Shifter is $260 for Fanatec, $200 for Thrustmaster. For load cell brakes, they both offer around the same price
that shit isn't even available. only ones are the big boys 20 and 25nm. even tho they're on sale I can't justify that price. so I might just have to settle for this cuz i feel like the gt2 is overpriced, if i do that , might as well wait for the DD pro to restock. etc... problem is I want a wheel yesterday
I have a question, so I bough the t300 servo base on Amazon and came to notice where it’s imported from is the UK. I read the reviews and notice people saying “ it’s the 220volt model not for us” and etc. I did more research and learned that there’s two different type of cords, the North American one and Europe one. But here’s the confusion, a lot of different people said the inside of the wheel can handle both 110-220 volt, where others said it don’t. Some people said they contacted thrustmaster and said just get the cord depending where you from. Idk if that’s correct or not and this is my first time upgrading from a t150 to a t300 and basically upgrading my setup. Any help will be appreciated.
Its not the cord, its just the plug on the end of the cord. Not a big deal, coz you can just always crab a simple universal plug adaptor. The device itself is autovolt and can handle both 110 and 220 volts.
Got a question, any help would be highly appreciated as I'm overwhelmed with tons of wheels out there. A friend gave me his old Thrustmaster F1 Racing Wheel, he upgraded to Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition. My questions is this if I buy this Thrustmaster T300RS GT, would I be able to connect my Thrustmaster F1 Racing Wheel to this servo and later down the road and as price of Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition drop to somewhat more affordable price, would I be able to connect this Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition to this servo as well? Last time I bought one of this wheels was back in the '90ish. Thanks in advance guys!

I'm hesitant on buying either the T300 RS or the new T248. Pedals are supposedly much better with the T248 as well as some cool functionalities, but the FFB and deadzone is not as good with the T248 I've heard. However the T248 is 100€ cheaper where I'm from and I'm somewhat hesitant as to how an 8 year old model would be better in that regard. It's also really cool that you can change the steering wheel but I don't think I'll be using that much as I don't think that will make much of a difference experience-wise..
What's your opinion on it? I'm willing to pay another 100€ but I need to be sure that the quality, experience and performance is better.
T300 RS GT all the way. T248 is a toy compared to t300. T248 has non removable wheel while t300 is removable. T248 is conbination of gear and belt while t300 is pure belt. Its a no brainer. T300 wins by a mile. Logitech is even better than t248.

I never understood why Logitech never went with the belt drive with any of the newer models. I feel the g923 with a belt drive would be the ultimate entry-mid setup. I have seen so many comparison reviews and videos and this was the final video which made we decide on the T300. I am just struggling on finding stock in my country. The only available model at the moment is the Alcantara Edition which I am highly considering but would still like the GT wheel and later change to the Ferrari. Thanks for the work my man
ikr. i am physically repulsed by the function of my g920. cant counter steer without a fight, loses calibration on feint drifts. the grindy clicky vibrations feel terrible too. its nice having that info but its poorly implemented and feels arcadey. i had good times on it and if i was younger and didnt know how real cars should feel and wasnt very skilled yet then the logitech would be perfect. sadly i out drive the capabilities of this thing. sold it and have a t300rs gt on the way and im stoked asf
if i had the funds id buy one and put it on ebay for you. i know how much it sucks when you cant find stock and there is legit nothing else similar
There is nothing special about the wheel on the gt version of the t300. The only difference between RS and RS GT Is a t3pa pedal set. It is no different than the std t300 rs wheel. It's nothing like the GT wheel that comes on the t gt2 or fanatec dd pro where it was designed for Gran Turismo. I would get the Alcantara or better yet get the tgt 2 on amazon, its 532 atm for just the base and wheel nd then get you a set of t3pm pedals for 120 on amazon if money is tight or the tlcms for 225 if m9ney is not tight.
@@calebwright2849 Yeah I hear you, but from my research and best bang for buck the RS GT RS was the best option cause of the 3 pedals and cheaper. So weird that the GT is more expensive than the RS GT in South Africa.
I do like the t gt2 alot but its such a stupid price for being a belt drive, a great one at that so don't get me wrong. That being said when I do go into that price range I will just shoot up to DD rather. Getting the Alcantara Version on the 25 November during Black Friday if it comes down in price. Its quite a challenge being patient but I have waited this long already so don't mind a few extra week :)

Have u ever compare this T300RS with T248, because i'm still confusing between that stuff, which one i have to choose, which is the best to buy?
T248 is a cheaper, lower model. Not removable wheel, toy like body, and combination of gear and belt driven smaller and weaker. T300 is full belt drive meaning no deadzone and hella smoother feel with no graininess or harshness, plus since wheel is removable, it means you can replace it with any other thrustmaster higher end wheel. Just think of t248 as a toy like not really official wheel or Thrustmaster. Better buy Logitech g29 instead if ylu cannot afford T300 RS GT.

hi can you feel the tracks in this wheel? can you feel sand, wet road and grass? does this wheel vibrate/rumble when running on the apex and being bumped by a car in the back? i have that feeling on my old Logitech Driving Force GT but it is missing on the Logitech G29 which is really annoying. i need to know so i can gauge Thrustmaster wheels since i can’t test them personally. TIA!
Yes. It doesnt vibrate but the feedback is really good with little to no deadzone unlike g29
If you play assetto corsa you will feel everything incling rubble or stones in the tarmac. Gt7 is different story tho the game itself has little feedbacl on road condition in any wheel even in direct drive wheels

i found that you cannot drift right orcounter steer on hard flicks in rally 2.0. its so bad that you have to actually make it reset yourself then throw into a counter steer AND when i do that my g920 loses calibration. what a pos. dont buy the logitech even tho its really popular with forza ppl
i am getting my t300rs gt this week! oh and thrustmaster is announcing a DD to rival the fanatecs in november on twitch. if you can get your hands on one and do a review like this in comparison to the t300rs gt that would be awesome.

Bought this exact wheel setup and within 1 week it started to lose Force feedback after 5 laps of a race i contacted Thrustmaster about it and they acted like they knew nothing about it having this problem but that is a lie they knew this wheel and the normal t300 both have this same problem for years and they dont do anything to fix the issue they just keep selling it to unsuspecting buyers. what happens is the fan they use is much to weak AND also the Thermostat on the back of the motor is of poor quality so a simple fan change does make it last a bit longer than 5 laps but it still does not fix the problem. another way i know they know about this problem and dont tell you and just sell it to you is they even made a firmware update to make the FAN stay on at full power so since they were very dishonest and also lied to me about my problem and also told me nothing could be done i was told oh well type of thing I can NOT recommend any Thrustmaster Products ever to anyone if your going cheaper go with Logitech or get the Fanatec stuff Thrustmaster is a Ripoff

Tbh the price of T300 is very similar to the price of g923 nowadays, but T300 is far better according to many users
