One of the reasons I love RT so much Director of a bunch of high production shows tries to throw shoe at someone and it gets stuck on the roof CEO says "Hey our game content producers have a grappling hook someone sent them. I'll film it with my drone." Guy who plays games for a living goes and gets grappling hook, and the director uses it to try to rescue his shoe from the roof Director successfully gets his shoe back, small crowd of employees and interns form to cheer as the director puts his shoe back on Like, where else does that happen
Weber588 o-o Gavin does much more than play video games for a living. He's also the lead person in charge of creating and planning content. As well as running another channel with over ten million subs. I hate when people act like employees at RT don't have real office jobs like the rest of us. I'm sure that his job is only like, 30 percent playing videogames. Poor guy is always catching flights. Okay rant over.
David Patterson I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned in a video that Gavin actually doesn't have that planning content job anymore, that he stepped down from it a while ago.
I guess so, I have only seen the way burnie describes it, flattened into a sheet and pressed with cookie cutters, but I just saw a video on how they make them at krispy kreme and they do form rings of dough.
@@krablord No, they started talking about doughnuts in general and then Burnie mentioned Krispy creme and Gus mentioned some others. I don't know how Krispy does it, but I'm sure they use one of the methods.
I'm still surprised at how well replacing Lady Death with Howard the Duck worked. It was really a bold choice by the studio, but it sure payed off. Really brave on their part to promote inter-species relationships
Matt Wells Can't wait for the next one when they realize that Howard the Duck is really Loki in disguise and he did it all for control of the Universe; which is what he has been after his whole life.
Gavin is right about the donuts that are made with a machine, I don't know if Burnie is right about donuts made by hand, but there is a very easy to find video on how krispy kreme donuts are made and it shows them being pressed out of a tube as a ring
In regards to the RT Life bit, in the reddit thread Burnie mentioned, we actually were all saying that we wanted RT Life's that were just ridiculous stuff happening there, and not planned or schedule at all, so I'm glad to hear that's where it's at right now.
The donut holes arent the same size as the centre of the dounuts because donuts have yeast, which rises when its cooked... So the hole in the donut shrinks and the donut holes expand Im not sure if donut holes are made out of the centre donuts, but it makes sense if they are
"What to buy if you start your own internet company: camera's, external hardrives, grappling hook, maybe a ladder, printers, computers....." i learn so much from each podcast. Thank you Mr. Gibbles, thank you!
Gavin Free - Fall from a plane and run down a mountain - Live... Run down the pyramids - legs snap off - dead................. He's a gift to comedy. Love you Gavver :)
I dont know if this is how it works everywhere, but in my town in New York, I know for sure grubhub is just the app I use to put in the order, and that the resteraunt itself delivers it, not grubhub. I know because I order from a small business, and the lady who delivers it is also the manager of the restauraunt I order from.
From what I understand, GrubHub offers their own delivery service in certain locations for restaurants that don't have their own delivery service. Only a small fraction use grubhubs delivery service.
I love all of the confusion the guys have regarding GrubHub considering that they were a sponsor of the podcast for a good while. In fact, pretty sure I originally heard about them through the podcast in the first place.
Comic Drake I'm not sure how much this will mean to you seeing as just one negative comment can unfortunately have a more lasting impact than a thousand good ones, but I'll say it nonetheless. I love watching your videos and I truly enjoy the content you provide. I hope you keep going strong Drake, I support you all the way.
I appreciate the nice comment, but I really don't want to make this about me. I am trying to have a conversation about the awesome podcast that we all listen to every week.
I agree, I heard about grubhub through the podcast long ago and as someone who is currently a delivery driver I can only say that if it was a grubhub order the driver didn't do their job correctly. When you go to pickup a customers order you must verify whether the food you've been handed is what the customer ordered. For example, Buffalo Wild Wings always shows you what's in their boxes to ensure that the order is indeed correct. And if the driver got the wrong description of the food there's not much that can be done on the drivers part, aside from telling customer to contact gh support.
As a Amazon employee, I'm very upset that we don't ever get bonuses for breaking records. Instead we get 2 dollars for vending machines and candy. They treat us like 5 year old kids over there.
Worker Smarter not Harder :) "Be the Amazon, not in the Amazon" ps. pretty sure you're american as my mate works at a warehouse over here which is amazon and gets paid per item delivered and if he goes over a certain quota gets a bonus.
New World Films Giving you a bonus for doing your job well is treating you like a five year old. Why would they reward you for doing a job well that you agreed to do for the price they gave you? Your most likely not someone with a super special skill, your just a grunt that they could replace with thousands of others with the same skill set.
The donut argument is especially frustrating as they are both right. American made donuts are usually machine produced and cut out, many euro donuts are rolled into circles without actually cutting the dough
James Murphy I’ve listened to all the audio podcasts in the beginning that’s how I started getting in to the podcasts, I used to listen to them while I was working
Donuts. It's a sheet that goes through a cookie cutter. The holes that get cut out are plucked out and used as donut holes. They are placed in spacers and are separately deep fried. Away from the normal donut line. The excess "donut corners" are the remaining sheet. Which are mixed in with a new batch of dough. Process repeats.
i think both the donut and the donut hole expand when resting bc of yeast so the donut hole gets bigger while the hole itself gets smaller bc the dough pushes in ward
The first link that came up when searching how donuts are made, showed the dough mixture in a machine that would push it out, and the donuts would come out, hole already there. I've also only seen it the way Gavin talks about it.
In Australia literally every donut shop has a donut maker on display [behind glass because boiling oil and the disgusting public]. Do they not, clearly they don't, have these in America. It's just a vat of donut mix that plops out a donut into the oil with conveyer belt in it.
That RT Life was incredible
One of the reasons I love RT so much
Director of a bunch of high production shows tries to throw shoe at someone and it gets stuck on the roof
CEO says "Hey our game content producers have a grappling hook someone sent them. I'll film it with my drone."
Guy who plays games for a living goes and gets grappling hook, and the director uses it to try to rescue his shoe from the roof
Director successfully gets his shoe back, small crowd of employees and interns form to cheer as the director puts his shoe back on
Like, where else does that happen
Weber588 o-o Gavin does much more than play video games for a living. He's also the lead person in charge of creating and planning content. Matt's CEO. Burnie founded RT.
David Patterson I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned in a video that Gavin actually doesn't have that planning content job anymore, that he stepped down from it a while ago.
DaPopeANata oh I didn't know that! So what does he do now?
Blain sure was lucky at the end lol.
And amazing use of a drone.
Worth it just for the RT Life at the end
Blaine*
The drone could have assisted by pushing the shoe :P
Blane*
It’s spelled ‘Dwayne’ jeez
What a triumphant return for RT Life!
To whoever sent that grappling hook to AH long ago, Blaine loves you.
For a second I thought I had a stroke when I saw the title
I didn't. I just thought "oh I wonder when gavin says this"
How in the world did Burnie make that sound at 1:08:05 ? I'm genuinely amazed that sound can come from a human.
i quite enjoyed the stutter at 1:05:11
Samuel didn't notice Gavin's reaction at first
The way Burnie says "Gus" at 1:08:06 😂😂
Blaine, your sense of humor fits so well into the podcast crew. Its a joy whenever we get to see you as a guest on the show :)
28:18 for the Gold Fish Story ✌🏼
Thank you!!
Thx
37:48 hearing this TODAY is wild
I just got to this point also lmaoo
Best Quote of 2018: "Because...jokes are funny."
29:02 is like the worst game of Bop-It ever
30:15 fish like peas
I'll do you one better, WHY do donuts made!?
Becuase hungry.
I’ll do you two better, why do donuts make?
I'll do you one better, who is donuts made.
The best part is that Gavin is totally right about Krispy-Kreme doughnuts.
I guess so, I have only seen the way burnie describes it, flattened into a sheet and pressed with cookie cutters, but I just saw a video on how they make them at krispy kreme and they do form rings of dough.
They're both right. Both are valid and implemented means of making donuts.
@@krablord No, they started talking about doughnuts in general and then Burnie mentioned Krispy creme and Gus mentioned some others. I don't know how Krispy does it, but I'm sure they use one of the methods.
I really hope they bring RT life back. It was one of the best video series on RT
Not even joking, I was listening to this while playing Forza and as Burnie said “I’m a beechwood tree” I crashed into a beechwood tree
Infinity war spoilers:
I loved it when howard the duck seduced thanos for control of the infinity gauntlet.
Dante Escalante
Thanos demands your silence!
onealsvc howard the duck's love overcame thanos
I'm still surprised at how well replacing Lady Death with Howard the Duck worked. It was really a bold choice by the studio, but it sure payed off. Really brave on their part to promote inter-species relationships
Matt Wells
Can't wait for the next one when they realize that Howard the Duck is really Loki in disguise and he did it all for control of the Universe; which is what he has been after his whole life.
I knew it, I thought he would classic Howard always saving the day with seduction
DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!!!
SO DO I...IF I HAVE TO MOVE...
Gavin with the real questions: "Why did an Australian come to America to learn French? Why not cowboys?"
That hook... was insane...
I love that everyone at RT unanimously agrees that Elyse is the best/funniest person in the company
She is Canada's Finest, after all
the reason why blaine loves ellie so much is because in the drunk blaine interview ellie took care of him when he started throwing up
I thought that was Miles
Gabe Puratekuta afterwards yes but in the interview video itself ellie helped him
Gavin is right about the donuts that are made with a machine, I don't know if Burnie is right about donuts made by hand, but there is a very easy to find video on how krispy kreme donuts are made and it shows them being pressed out of a tube as a ring

S+ tier cast. We got a curious boi, an angry boi, a relatable boi, and a ripped boi.
That was the best RT Life ever. Of all time.
The donut holes arent the same size as the centre of the dounuts because donuts have yeast, which rises when its cooked...
So the hole in the donut shrinks and the donut holes expand
Im not sure if donut holes are made out of the centre donuts, but it makes sense if they are
My main problem with the Data jokes is that Data is good and pure and does't deserve to be compared to Mark Zuckerberg
"What to buy if you start your own internet company: camera's, external hardrives, grappling hook, maybe a ladder, printers, computers....." i learn so much from each podcast. Thank you Mr. Gibbles, thank you!
"Daddy, where do donuts come from?"
"Ask Burnie."
anyone else auto-binging while they're in quarantine?
1:08:07 "Go to Krispy Kreme, it's completely transparent" 😂 lol so funny!
The drone going "bee doo" makes it feel so jurrasic park
1) “How do donuts made?” needs to be a shirt.
2) Dat Blaine hook

Comic Drake your content is trash
I don't see what that has to do with my comment of the RT Podcast.

+nicholis ling Someone sounds angry!
I hope that fish discussion becomes an Animated Adventure
That the singularly most amazing thing I've seen all year, kudos to Blaine for the throw and Burnie for the use of the drone
When Blaine hit the wall with the hook I was picturing Agent Washington just watching and going "That was the worst throw ever...of all time."
I'm sorry, but i love how AH it is for gav to go "ey waddup, where's the grappling hook"
That RT life at the end was a thing of beauty!
I had to replay Blaine's impression of someone spinning on a pole.. about 20 times. 😂😂😂 That needs to be in an RT animated
9 Billion dollars could fix all the construction Burnie keeps seeing. It's not pretty but it will make his own company have better roads too.
"Hey guys welcome to welcome the RT Podcast, where we complain about flying for an hour and a half"
Why was that the most suspenseful ending to anything I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂
lmfao why did i think they were going to throw the grappling hook and blaine would climb up it hahahaha
Wow, Gavin is the only person left that knows that jokes are jokes and shouldnt be taken seriously.
the constipated fish conversation omg i was dying
1:15:49 - Blaine is talking about the Raingutter Regatta. I did that and the Pinewood Derby in Cub Scouts.
The donut argument is especially frustrating as they are both right. American made donuts are usually machine produced and cut out, many euro donuts are rolled into circles without actually cutting the dough
Best RT Life Yet, I could feel the accomplishment
The was the most incredible RT Life I have ever seen.
THAT CUT OF BALINE LOUNGING ON THE COACH WAS AMAZING!: 1:10:00
That RT Life at the end was incredible.
Just let Blaine finish his story instead of interrupting seventeen times pls... :(
Burnie's intro gets me every time 😂
I have seen all 490 podcasts
.... just realized how much that really is
That is quite an accomplishment!
Well the first ones weren't all video so no you haven't "seen" them
James Murphy I’ve listened to all the audio podcasts in the beginning that’s how I started getting in to the podcasts, I used to listen to them while I was working
joshua jones busting your balls because they didnt start video podcasts for a couple years and you said seen all 490.
Oh just casually have the cutest australian ive ever seen sitting off on a side mic all podcast, okay, no thats fine
I don't think it's the pretzels
These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty ikr
That was a solid RT Life. Good job on your first edit Maddy.
The biggest living being is actually a forest that is just one tree connected through the roots
Justin Doherty it’s a fungus not a tree
So happy to see you guys talk about Simone!
I love that Dan and Gav are bigger than RoosterTeeths channel 😂😂
"Vampire looking kid"
You leave reviewbruh alone. He's too pure for this world.
37:45 whoahhhhhhhhhh
I don't bother about spoilers because I have a memory like a sieve!!
I just realized Gavin has more subscribers than the company he works for... lmao
I love Burnie when Maddie says she only has 2 essasy and 2 papers, he goes, "That's everything!"
What a comeback for RT Life
Process repeats.
omg, that RT Life is probably my favorite video on the internet now.
53:57 this is my favourite form of Gus
The confused look on Gavin 34:42 lol
That ending was the f-ing best I can't believe that happened :'D I was smiling so much
i think both the donut and the donut hole expand when resting bc of yeast so the donut hole gets bigger while the hole itself gets smaller bc the dough pushes in ward
YES BLAINE YES
Anyone coming here from the RTAA, story starts at 28:12
Hey everyone. Stay (or skip to, if impatient) to the very end. RT history right there.
Blaine is a gem. I'd say that about almost everyone at RT, but Blaine stays sober despite being a successful buff dude.
Only because he's a NERD!
The first link that came up when searching how donuts are made, showed the dough mixture in a machine that would push it out, and the donuts would come out, hole already there. I've also only seen it the way Gavin talks about it.
Great edit of that epic moment !!!
1:35:00 for the cute Australian!!! MORE MADDY PLEASE
Caiti is cuter
is there some rule where Australians have to be attractive or goofy? 'cause it always seems like it's one or the other
THAT RESCUE WAS AMAZING!!
That RT Life was AWESOME
In Australia literally every donut shop has a donut maker on display [behind glass because boiling oil and the disgusting public]. Do they not, clearly they don't, have these in America.
It's just a vat of donut mix that plops out a donut into the oil with conveyer belt in it.
That RT life was AMAZING
Today I realized that Rooster Teeth has existed 28 days longer than I have
and I realized how old I am.
THAT RT LIFE WAS AMAZING OH MY GOD
I wish at the end of the story talking about feeding his fish peas the Sugar Pine 7 boys would have came out singing "Lets Get Peas"
Video at the end was priceless!
What would happen if you filled a 10 metre straw up horizontally then held one end and rotated it so it was vertical, would the water boil then?
I want 5 of "How Do Donuts Made?" shirts for myself. Will not take no for an answer! xD
They do.
Blaine is continuing his spiral into becoming the quintessential Austin hipster.
that ending was the highlight of my day
37:43 Watching this in 2024 is weird.
If you want your own platform, Rooster Teeth should make their own Mastodon instance. For real!
Wow big break guys! You finally made it to UA-cam!
