How do you change the pose position on Xbox?
I really like this. I'm so glad I watched this because I love taking pictures of my sim family but it's so hard.. I was wondering how would you be able to take a picture with a family that has a toddler .. I really want a family picture with the toddlers in the photos :) thank you for sharing your awesome ideas
Hello Nicole! Toddler photos would be cool! Hm, I don't expect the studio object to work with toddlers technically, but I did not test this yet. But it should be easy enough to let a sim carrying a toddler walk onto the studio, not using the "take photo of..." function, not of adult nor toddler, but using the wall top hide a 3rd sim you'll actually be photographing. Or, it might be even easier to arrange for using the ordinary cameras, not the studio object. I'll post again when I get to test this.

Just o add - toddlers can also be seated. You might need to arrange for the session on their home lot though, as they can't travel everywhere.
Thanksss this is so far the coolest and easiest trick to take nice photos without having to use photoshop and sims4studio to edit :)

Quick tip: You can have the sim sing and then catch them during a long note. The sad songs make for good spooky pics. :)

What about kissing or holding a baby
Hi! Kissing should be possible only for sims that are not posing. I suppose a non-posing sim can be holding a baby, too? Hm, that would make a cute photo, I never tried it.

Hi and thanks! You will need to position the seating without blocking the spot that the photographed sim(s) will walk to. Additional sims an also be standing, but it gives better phots when those in front are sitting down.

Is there a trick for Flash Photo Studio?

Hello. If you want to use real photo as the background, you would first need to create that RL photo on a TS4 object, which can be done with ie Sims4Studio. It takes some tech skills, but is not very hard to handle. Photo can be added to the Photo Studio object, wallpapers, or you could add it to a poster that you would then enlarge in game. On my blog you will find 3 custom versions of the Sims Photo Studio object, which gives you a total of 24 new backgrounds - none od them are RL photos, though. simmerville.blogspot.com/search/label/Downloads

When you take the photo with a chair in it how do you get them to sit in on it
Hi! I don't recall there was any problem sitting on the chair. But maybe you placed it too far back on the studio object, blocking the slots where sims would normally stand? Try positioning the chair slightly forward. If this won't work, pls let me know, there might have been some patching changing stuff.

How do you great the pictures though, I have taken the pictures but I dont know how to get then to put them up are they in my household inventory?
Hi! The pictures your Photographer takes will go to that sim's personal inventory. It's the same as using an ordinary camera or taking pictures with the phone.
Do i have to get Get To Work?
And if not, how do i use poses in photos?
You need GetToWork to use the Photo Studio object. But you can take similar pictures with the cameras that I believe are available in base game. Then you can download Pose Player (a CC made tool, easy to grab and install) + there are many CC poses out there to use with Pose Player. There also exists a stuff pack with photographer career and a few more tools, but you don't really need that to just take some family pictures for the wall or shelf.
I tried to do the chair thing to take a maternity photo however my sim still posed. Help?
Hello! When photographing a sim on a chair, you must technically photograph some other sim. If you don't want that other sim to show in the picture, you need to build that wall to hide him/her. Build wall first, then position the studio objects so that the spot is still available behind that wall (moveobjects on). When not using the poses, it might be easier using a regular camera, though :)
Oh thank you. I thought you might not reply bc this video is old. I hate that with the cameras the Sims can only take a picture of themselves with a selfie. Plus I'm trying to take modeling type photos for her simstagram and I can't, it sucks
Did you dl some cc poses? They exist, but I never tried them. And you can take good photos of other sims with the most expensive camera. Did you miss out on some of the menu options?

Hello and thanks! Turning Free Will off will make all those actions easier. Once they get seated, they will not get up unless their needs are critical etc. If you place a tv in front of them (out of the picture), they will all look in the same direction. For instruments, you might need to try a few times, because they might take a step aside or turn away from the camera, but with some luck it should work :)

Is there a way when you're taking pictures of two sims at once to have them swap positions? For example have the one on the left move to the right and the one on the left move to be the one on the right side?
Hello! No, unfortunately, I've never found a way to do that. I think if you first take a photo of just one of the sims, then add the 2nd sim, it might be possible to sort it out, but I never tried.

Quick question, so for the xbox one do you know how to take pictures at random time like for example if your sims are getting engaged and you want to capture that moment, what button do you need to take the picture?

Hello! There are 4 versions of the studio object on my blog simmerville.blogspot.com (downloads). Not sure what you mean by updated, do they no longer work with your game? I still use them frequently with no problem.

Where is it in The Sims 4
You will need the GoToWork EP. The studio object is in the Skills&entertainment (?) category. But I think most of the cameras are now available in basegame (same main category>Creative).
How do you make them pose?
My sim just stand still doing nothing 😩
Hello! The sims you chose from clicking on the studio object will pose. The others, if you place more than 2, or various ages, will just stand/sit, so I put the tv set there to make sure they at least look "into the camera" :)
Also note that their mood will affect what poses they use. I noticed that a sim might use the same pose again and again unless you send him off tyhe studio object, so trhat he needs to reposition - then there is a bigger chance he will choose a different pose.

Hello! Did you find it? It's in the object group Activities and Skills, Creative. You can filter the catalog to see only Get to Work objects. The icon is a bit hard to understand, it's black and white, and I too overlooked it several times in the past.

Sorry for my late reply. Yes, the photo studio object is included with TS4 Get To Work EP. It can be used as is, you won't need to build or add anything. It's more fun though to have a photographer residing your town.

Is there any way to photograph toddlers?
Hi! I think it should be possible either let the toddler walk onto the studio thing (being like a requisite), being placed into a highchair already strategically positioned, or an older sim could carry the toddler (not the main sim photographed, though).

How do i make them do specific poses? Usually they just do a random pose
I normally make them watch TV, because then they will all have a common focus point. There exist numerous pose downloads though (custom content), but I never downloaded any of those. I prefer expressions that are already in the game.
