I was friends with a 90s kid in the mid 2000s and all he would play out of his little silver flip phone was trance tracks lol it was kinda carried over to my friend group at the time just before the 2010s and all the arcade machines still running were blasting those too whenever we went to do bowling, pool or laser tag at the local leisure centre and thus an interest in the genre was born again that and house music were at the core of local street culture
