You ain’t lying about that lemon on a pad. I tried something with turmeric and lemon on a pad, 1st weeks everything looked good next thing I know my face was COMPLETELY FUCKED UP! Face was dry, you could see fine lines on my face damn near a mile away, face got blotchy started to peel, got damn I was having panic attacks never again! Just now starting to come out of that, still have a little flakes but seeing improvement.
.... Then there is me.. I've been using Origional Listerine on my face/skin for 20+ years and I've never had bad Acne.
I hope people realise these before damaging their skin 😪
My young nieces are really into Nature Republic. Can you talk about that brand? I figure it’s like the Bath & Body Works of skincare.
Need to do more of these please
Sea breeze is amazing for oily skin specifically the yellow one
Agree!! Thank you for this!! 💚
I steer so far away from products like these that I don’t even notice them.
🍇Hey Doc. Lemon diluted with water 2 to 3 time a week works, 4me.🍋
I don’t use the charcoal peel off mask for acne or any skin care stuff I just like how it takes off some dead skin and makes my face softer. And it’s fun to peel
Enjoy your wrinkles and non-existent skin barrier 😊
I like the black peel mask. It tightens, removes dead skin, and leaves my skin soft and smooth.
“But will tear your face off.” Thanks for that 😂
Wow, she's so beautiful
What is that "sea breeze" thing? Looks like mouth wash for me 😂
Sea breeze is an alcohol toner. Back in the day it was popular. People liked the burning sensation they got which they thought meant it was working instead of tearing up their skin.
@@db-gb5xi oh thanks! I'm European and had never seen anything similar to that toner, except for, you know, mouth wash
@@db-gb5xi yep back in our day like everyone used it… 😂
Skin routine circa 1990: wash with Noxema cream, then Sea Breeze followed by the original Oil of Olay in the pink bottle. How anyone from the 80’s and 90’s still has a face is a miracle!😂

Lemon pads: irritation, skin sensitivity, bleaching
Can you do a video on products to help regrow eyebrows please?
I would like to know this too!
Just FYI I started taking biotin a little over a month ago and I have little brow hairs coming in and taking biotin is the only thing I’m doing different.
A friend recommended castor oil once. I haven't tried it yet and she recommended for both eyebrows and eyelashes. Idek just a thought
Castor oil doesn't work for everyone and I am one of those people it doesn't work for.
@@adriennetravels ah sorry. Tbh idk why it works for any person it works for. 🤷🏼♀️
…did they grow back?
There's a difference between "doesn't work" and "makes your skin worse"
Agree but he was probably just trying to change up the wording to keep the video interesting. He could have said that the black masks often irritate the skin while peeling them off and can cause redness. Similar can be said for the face pads with lemon, but probably didn’t want to sound too repetitive.
@@ciomaria6137 being precise with topics like this is more important than making a catchy video for views.
@@onyxxxyno I agree with you whole heartedly. It could/should have been done better.
@@ciomaria6137redness occurs even with natural products including aloe vera and bentonite clay (for two different sides of the spectrum) It's all relative to the person's skin, I've used that peel off mask he showed and it works great.
I mean a peal off masks are typically irritating, and with no potential benefits, all it will do is irritate you skin. I think he used the correct choice of words.
Your advice is the best 👌
I am in love with your skin.
Sea Breeze is the worst. The burn is awful!
Sea breeze actually helped brighten my skin (use as a toner) and is really good for when ever I finish washing my hair!
I tried all of these and he is so right. The lemon products dried my skin out so bad and caused a lot of irritation.
I used to use sea breeze every morning and night, then follow it with differin…. No moisturizer or spf 😩😩
I’m starting to get acne, this vid is helping me know what products to get
Can you list those skin care products that do work?
Now you know he's not going to do that for free??
Please do more of these! I enjoy seeing what you DON'T like!
Wait, what's wrong with lemon on a pad?
Lemon is highly acidic and therefore irritating to the skin. Great to drink, not to put on the face lol. ☺
Ha!
Noooo!!! I been using Sea Breeze for years
Its strong stuff it slowly damages the skin
🤷♀️ I've used the original seabreeze since I was age 13. Still works for me.
My mom bought me sea breeze for my first acne treatment stuff and Boy was she wrong. 🤣🤣I have helped my face and we have come a long way! Thank you!
I'd love to hear about methylene blue. One of my favorite companies has added it to their nmn face product so I'm wondering if the studies hold up.
Im so confused about your post, because from my biochemistry background. Methylene blue is a common dye used for staining cells.
Hey Professor Nurse? I got this product called ST. Ives BlackHead Clearing SCRUB. Exfoliants are 100% natural. green tea and bamboo. Is this a good product to put on my face? It cost me like $5.10
Those black peeloff masks are horrible. My sister had one so I tried it out of curiosity, it hurt to peel and it ripped out some hair from my eyebrows I had to wash it off ultimately
Who is this Dr? I would love to follow him. Thank you!
any thoughts on aveeno skincare?
I have sensitive acne prone skin all my life. I feel like I have tried all of these products. I am walking proof that these don’t work!
I have had sensitive acne prone skin all of my life as well. Just turned 40 and I’d assume that would have stopped. But nope. The only thing that has helped me for a decade now has been changing my pillow cases daily and using Tacha water cream. It is the only lotion I have used that moisturizes and keeps me feeling clean. I have tried so many “sensitive skin” items from sephora and drug stores. Neutrogena line is ok to use temporarily.
I always look for new products that are non-comedogenic and not oil-based due to Tacha’s price point but, always end up going back. It’s expensive but well worth it
I remember having a Korean lemon face wash oomph
Could you actually say more about the lemon part? Because it’s definitely needed.
I mean, it's an acid on a sensitive area. You don't go running pure lemons in or around your eyes right?
I remember when i was younger i had this cream for my excema, which was really bad at the time, and i don't know why but it made my excema worse when exposed to sunlight, which is especially hard when you're a 7 year old in the middle of summer.
Also if anyone recommends coconut oil for skin, unless you shower once every 5 minutes it will stink and the smell's gonna stick to everything
Sea Breeze is great for getting rid of dandruff
Sea breeze is literally the only thing that'll get rid of my acne tho. I don't have the money for face masks n shit
Get a retinoid from a dermatologist. I tried salicylic acid, moisturizing etc but as effective as that stuff is at clearing it out it comes back just as fast. I pay $90 for two tubes of tretinoin after insurance. This lasts me 2-3 months. I literally just use that and a dermatologist recommended face moisturizing lotion.
Try using A lemon 🍋 squeeze it and rub it on your face it works also Vitamin C pills or gummies work great with the Lemon on a pad. Vitamin C is great for the skin.
Try doing some research and see what you find out. Good luck 👍
Eat beans
Does applying Vaseline cause breakouts?
I mean to the skin for slugging?? Well for other people it works, but personally for me it doesn't. When I apply vaseline to the face whole face it breaks me out but works fine as an eye cream
Omg I lived by sea breeze when I was younger Lmfaoooo
Hehe “Sea Breeze” in the house! He gave me Nostalgia feels! All the way back to the late 80’s & 90’s! I think every kid/teenager had it! Gosh that “BURN” baby! We thought we were so darn fresh & so clean after applying our SB! 😂 I honestly feel like an idiot because I didn’t even know it was still around. I’ve not been exactly 👀ing for it. My mom (who is a licensed cosmetologist/etc) told my goofy 11yr old self, & my friends that it wasn’t good for our skin! Especially our young skin. Always listen to your momma! Of course as a lil 💩 I thought it was the 💩! 😆Always on TV.. Tell Lie Vision .. Thx for sharing the Truth about this product.. btw! 👍
I use face lotion and retinol at night before bed…. That, mixed with an exfoliating cleanser in the shower is all I use. I’m open to anything that’s good for your face! Any suggestions?
Could u please make an video on indian skincare products?
I use peel-off masks because I can actually see them taking gunk out of my pores, unlike the wash-off kind. I use the wash-off kind too, and I have no idea if it's actually doing anything. I'm new to skincare in general, so I never know if anything is working after using them (except for moisturizer lol). But I am at least comforted by what I see coming off on the peel-away masks. Also, the wash-off mask from Beauty Counter absolutely burns your skin. Do NOT buy it.
That comfort of seeing “gunk” is part of the gimic. you’re better off using an acid.
Best skin care tip : Using Nothing except water
Now I have clear skin
That's genetics, literaly.
You must have been using something terrible for your skin (like soap on the face, exfoliating too often or products with inhredients nit good for whatever skin issue you had).
Skin issues don't go away with water. Let's not feel so confident making those statements
@@mile_851 I've literally used the stuff dermatologist asked me to use. And used highly safe products and it still hasn't benefited me with getting rid of random breakouts and congestion.
. I'm not saying everyone should. Obviously people will have serious conditions , like photosensitivity, ezchema , rosechea or aggressive cystic acne that require medicine or a specific skincare prescribed by your doctor . But generally most people don't . It's all a marketing scheme at this point for us to be using all kinds of skincare playing around with them when our skin really is fine.
Most men in my life don't even have a skincare regimen yet they have the clearest skin ☠️.
@@3000A.D I have akne rosacea and it's true also for my condition. Less products and only the most gentle ones = better skin. Actually I'm doing skin care routine for 2 times a week for almost year. And my skin looks much better than before, when I did it once or twice a day. You don't need to do it so often. It's marketing, because they need to earn much money as possible.
More of these please
☺️
i like sea breeze lmao but is there anything anyone would recommend as a toner? it actually doesn’t feel bad for me and i have sensitive skin.
It doesn't feel bad to me either and been using it for years. My face is smooth.
In what order should I use my products? I'm new to all this and so confused.
I have the following products because they individually spoke to me:
- Sunscreen (I use it daily, when I don't forget. )
- Retinal Eye Serum
- Green Tea Calming Serum
- Green Plum Refreshing Toner
I want to get the moisturizer and the matte sun stick.
My skin alternates between dry and oily depending on the season. During summer it's more oily.
Any advice?
Gosh the Dr in the beginning has the biggest space in between his eyes like a hammerhead shark, such a unique looking individual
In place of the black charcol peel masks, try bentonite clay! Mix in water and a few drops of apple cider vinegar, works wonders for my clogged pores.
"says sensitive skin on the bottle but will tear your face off"😂😂 I didn't know they still made sea breeze! I remember using that as a teen in the 90s & my skin was cracking lol .... Plus I'd use those oxy pads or whatever they were called, those little circular nightmares? I have dry skin ffs! Bad idea!
The fact that these skincare products are actually a thing
