The suction cups on their heaters *are* really strong! My little 50 watt hygger has them attached to the cage of the heater and I have a little trouble getting it off the tank glass 😂. That's a much better problem to have than wimpy suction cups, but I like how this model has them on brackets. I also like the out-of-water shut off, really long cord, and buttons on the cord to adjust it. Nice review, have a great weekend, Daniel and family! 🙂👍
Thanks Tara. Yes there's loads of cool features packed into these heaters hey. I appreciate Hygger's attention to these details. They make all the difference. Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend too.
Very nice Daniel. Looks nice and sturdy .. Have one similar but has an external thermostat.. Excellent review my busy friend. I like that I had three temp sensors .. I like the dry feature.... Excellent experiment.. The casing is great!!!
Awesome unboxing Daniel! I absolutely love the heater and I am thinking of replacing all of mine to the according hygger heater!. Such a very well explained review. Those suction cups are well heavy duty ain't they!. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Excellent review Daniel….. we would really like to see some sort of progress being made or a company can incorporate a heater right into the filter we have seen people do things like this with something and other things like that but it just seems like the technology is certainly there in the ideas or maybe just incorporate it into the tank itself into the bottom or underneath and under gravel filter or something of that nature excellent review though Anna seems like a pretty good heater, but they just seem off of pricey. We’ll see how things continue in the future.
They're not cheap mate but I'm comfortable with the price points taking into account all the features. There are a couple of examples of integrated filters I can think of; the Oase Biomaster Thremo canister filters house the heater inside and the Juwel internal filters of course but yeah it would be good to see more of this sort of stuff. Not sure about under gravel heaters. Just because it may be hard to replace them should they fail but it's a nice idea. If anyone could engineer a few ideas around that you guys would be high up that list I'm sure.
@@DanielKeepingFish would be neat to find one of those those old stainless steel frames and figure out a way to heat the frame and tank along with it🤔🤔
Mine had been working excellent for almost a year. Then today it blown my down stair sockets and now the heater wont switch back on. Nothing displays on the LCD display anymore.
Mine does all sorts of weird things . It is constantly heating then flashing "H1" then heating again but I rarely see it settles to that green led set t°F It has been like that from day one so I can't tell the real t°F it is running at. I don't use it anymore, i think they sended me a lemon.
10.0 for so discreetly using the word “affix” in your presentation. Very well presented sir!
Haha.. Mr Caylor: fine aquarium hobbyist and appreciator of subtle wordsmithery. 😉💙

I would get in touch with Hygger. Wouldn't mind betting they'd try resolve that with you.
I would love a few of these heaters, but guess what 😂
Sorry John. 😬
@@DanielKeepingFish haha 😂
A bit dissapointed really, at no point did you test this product against explosives
Hahaha... You're right though. Two things we're missing in our fish hobby videos.. car chases and explosions. Been thinking that for a wee while. 😆
