It is misleading to say that any cell phone case offers ultimate protection for a cell phone OR that with such a case you can throw the cell phone against the wall of the room full blast! Even if the "extreme protection" of the protective case perfectly prevents the screen glass from breaking and the phone shell from being damaged, it cannot prevent the components and solders on the circuit board inside the mobile phone from being damaged.
When the phone suddenly hits a hard surface, which instantly kills the huge kinetic energy directed at it, the parts inside it take a hit anyway. The components inside the smartphone itself may survive the impact, but some of their solders may be damaged, and even if they continue to work immediately after the impact, the resulting minor damage will slowly grow into a defect that will later prevent the phone from functioning. For example, a solder may get a very small fracture or strain, which causes a small resistance to the damaged point. Even if the device is still working, that unrelated resistor will cause heat every time it is powered and therefore over time will cause your device to break.
So, because you don't think deeply, you believe in such nonsense that with some external protection you can throw a swingarm against a wall without causing any damage to the cell phone! I'm not saying that "extreme protection" isn't good. I'm just saying that your idea that after getting the protection the mobile phone is indestructible and you can throw it at the stone wall as you want. That's stupid!
She's essentially a child herself. This particular situation goes far beyond bad habits and selfishness. I assume this was filmed many years ago and I hope they are doing much better now.
@@neonk2222 True. Watching this I was struck by her mother - seemed to think it was all funny that her daughter couldn't care less about looking after herself and her kids. I mean, this is a teenage mother, and her mum is so laid back as if what happens to her child and grandchildren is nothing to do with her.
And it was a pear. A PEAR. The most underrated of all fruits. That kid had a chance to know true nutritional and culinary enlightenment and she denied him. A woman like that has no place being a mother.
How does she not get charges with some sort of child abuse or neglect? Really it's just a shame that the worst people are the ones who end up as parents
She didn’t get scared due to early parenthood, she didn’t get scared of the heart attack, and she’s not getting scared by her son’s health. She’s the epitome of health apathy
They need to take her children away from her. The fact the son had never been to a dentist prob means he rarely goes to a doctor. At this point, she's neglecting her children. This is a form of neglect that can result in children being removed from the home and kept away from mom unless she shows progression and attends classes meant to help her become a better parent. Otherwise, she needs to loose her kids and if that isn't motivating, then let those babies live with someone who cares and loves them enough to actually help them and let mom keep having heart attacks by herself.

It was just so shocking to see her denying her child fruits and vegetables that the kid was asking for. Pears are cheap, how hard is it to get your kid a pear? For some people the rock bottom has to be harsher. She has probably found a way to be comfortable withher circumstances. Maybe she runs away from facing them, maybe she is too depressed to do even the barr minimum... but either way, when you have children you owe them to at least look for help, specially if you dont want them to turn out like yourself
The kid asked for actual fruit and she not only didn't get it for him, but actively went out of her way to say "ew"... Edit: imo The way to motivate her is to tell her that the diet she is on is making her look like she is 40...
You are probably right. She is still a teen with the mind of a teen, and doesnt seem to really think about putting in the work for a comfortable and healthy future. Instead she is more worried about making her present less uncomfortable, even if it is at the expense of her future and her children’s future. Even threatening to take the kids away wouldn’t probably scare her enough, but if you tell her she is looking more and more busted with this diet, maybe it would work
@@lalailm It's tragic, but yes, hearing that her face looks twenty years older would probably motivate her, and keeping her children wouldn't. Honestly, the way she acts, she might be glad if you took the kids away. More time and money for her.

Yeah, it's pathetic that so many males leave their kids lmao maybe if the dad was present he could do something to help the kid but of course that's not happening
We don’t know what lead her to be a single mother and I don’t judge people by that. The issue is how she is treating her children and herself. She definitely realizes that she might k*ll herself and end up leaving her children without a parental guardian. She’s clearly mentally distressed/unfit.

She definitely seems to be doing it on purpose and it's very bizarre. She claims it's about time and money, but her son wanted a pear and she denied it. You just need to wash a pear to eat it. When the nutrition offered nutritional food that was the same price or cheaper than fast food, she explicitly noted SHE might try to eat healthier, not her son. I'm at the 9 minute mark but so far she hasn't said a single word about her son's health, only her fear of her own health deteriorating. I can't imagine what she's thinking. Right. My parents would cook dinner with veggies when I was a kid. If I or my siblings didn't want it, then we went to bed with an empty stomach and no dessert. They never _forced_ us to eat, but it really made me not a picky eater as a kid. I was like the only kid in my class that actually liked broccoli, brussel sprouts, and asparagus. Absolutely. As the parent, he has full control over what his child eats! And how old was the child? I think 2 or 3? When I was growing up, we ate healthy meals at home which were also delicious. I loved vegetables when I was a kid, which we had with our meals pretty much every day. Fast food was an occasional treat, not a way of life. It was okay if I didn't like a certain food, as long as I at least tried it first. To hear that guy say he can't control what his young child eats is ridiculous.

I agree. In the UK we have the German Kabab Co - and it is not all that bad. However, when compared to Mustafa's van outside the pub / offie very expensive.
Don't underestimate the meat though. It's not as healthy as it appears to be, since it's highly processed and full of phosphates. You even see it in the video itself. And the bread is nothing but empty carbs which turn into pure sugar in your body. The sauce is also quite dense in calories and sugar. So, what you're left with is the fresh veggies as the only valuable nutrient in that thing, might just as well eat a salad then with some fresh cooked meat. Is way better for you. @@controlledsingularity8084 You do know that it's just called "natural selection" which was simply _made by_ Charles Darwin, along with many other things, and you just look like a pretentious idiot by breaking grammar to try sounding smart, right? Also I'm not sure you even read the above comment. If I'm making sense of your grammar, youre saying "if her son lives it's not natural selection," correct? Nobody said that. The original comment references natural selection as in "the mother can make her own choices that kill her," the only reason the son is mentioned is specifically because it's not "natural selection," it's child neglect that will lead to his death, hence "but doing this to a baby?" (as in "how could she do this to her son) "I don't understand how she even has custody" (because of obvious neglect.)
Talking about the fear tactic: I knew a girl who suffered from severe anorexia nervosa. She was on the brink of dying, when her mother decided to confront her with it. She took the girl to pick out a coffin, a gravestone, she had to write down who should be at her funeral and what music should be played. The girl went into full panic mode, broke down crying, but the next day she started to eat. That was a few years ago, she is now in recovery and on a very good path to become healthy. Although I personally don't really believe in the fear tactic, in this case it was that one rock bottom the girl needed to save her life. But maybe it depends on the person, I can imagine that the fear tactic maybe for some people can completely backfire and they go in full denial mode... I'm not a psychologist/medical professional in any way, just wanted to share this story because it was the first thing on my mind when Kiana mentioned the fear tactic.
Wow. That would definitely not work for everybody, but I’m glad it did for her. Anorexia is often paired with depression, so it could have potentially backfired HARD.
Personally if that tactic had been used on me when I was knee deep into my own ED it would’ve resulted in an even sicker or potentially even dead kid. Depression & EDs go hand in hand so something like that would definitely cause *a trigger* but whether it’s a positive or negative one really depends
It can work, but way less with anorexia Many anorexics including me before, aren't phased or stopped by the threat of death, they already know that's the result, and where it might work for this woman who's bad diet is due to ignorance, for people with eating disorders like anorexia which often stem from trauma, mental illnesses, etc it's unlikely to work and knowing me and the other people I knew, it can even egg on and encourage the eating disorder, being taken as "wow, I'm so thin that people are telling me I'll die, it must be working"
My anorexia started in 2nd grade. Broke my foot shortly after. My pediatrician (who was awesome.) Told me that if I didn't start eating again I wouldn't walk
@@ghostoflazlo I am 19 too and I feel like most of my peers are more aware of like anything in their lifes than this girl. exactly one person in the entirety of people i know eats fast food everyday, so it’s a big generalisation to say „just another teenager“
My little sister was a fast food baby. She was given chocolate bars three times a day to stop her crying/temper tantrums. Not like mini chocolate bars that you give out on Halloween, but like, actual full sized chocolate bars and sugary snacks. Every. Single. Day. As a four year old. She was also a very picky eater so she wouldn't eat veggies nor meat. Though she liked homemade meatballs so that's a win I guess. Obv she survived on chicken nuggets and McDonald's for a while, but I don't consider that processed shit meat. My dad had a Coca Cola addiction so we always had that with dinner. Yes, even the four year old was given a glass of Coke. Often she would get a second one. I was eleven at the time and I was being taught at school that this is not okay. So I started switching out my sister's Coca Cola with fresh juice. And whenever she cried, I would ask her what was wrong instead of shutting her up with a chocolate bar. I'd give her cut up fruit and veggies as a snack, and make her toast when she came back from daycare. Because mom thought kids don't get hungry after school, or that they can wait until dinner. Mind you, school ended at 4pm and we didn't have dinner until 8.30 pm.
I’m so sorry your parents are completely useless. Honestly if I were u I would contact cps/social services on them. Please don’t be afraid to dial for the child line. Neglect is a serious form of child abuse
As an American, I've never heard of it. What is the correct spelling and pronunciation? "Doner" like you're done for the night after a night out drinking?
@Leah Raven I think I'd always pronounced it the way you say Doner the reindeer. Think it's just a case of her putting a lot of emphasis on the "do" portion where as I'd typically emphasise the "ner" bit
@@Cattleya69 I don't think early puberty has much to do with looking older, I started puberty at 9 and now at 19 people confuse me with a 14 year old all the time. I think it's the bad health that comes from the unhealthy eating that makes people look older.
No offense but white people usually look way older than they're actual age , so it's genetics and the fact that she doesn't take care of herself plus being a teen mom
@@Nameless-ny8nk it can be truth for some people. I started puberty earlier than kids around me and I looked older back then and look older now. Yes now I'm obese so that's why but I wasn't fat several years ago but still looked older (my diet was okay, I didn't get fastfood and sweets)
I think it should be mandatory for people who want kids, to pass a capability test as soon to be parents, to see if they understand and know what it means to raise kids. Where I live you have to pass two tests to own a dog, similar to getting your driver's license. But for raising kids, there's no such thing
That sounds ideal but not realistic, anyways there are options for improving the posibilities of raising children successfully, for example in my country, women who give birth in public hospitals, we have to complete a series of appointments with doctors and dieticians where they teach how to cook and give us recipes, and we have to bring the baby to doctors every month until two years old, they are curious about what we manage the breastfeeding and then the cooking and of course they check the baby
Yeah but literally every single idiot on the planet loves having unprotected sex. If they can't muster the energy to slap a rubber on it, I doubt they'll try this test. Or care.
This happened to me. My parents (especially my father) raised me on a fast food diet. Already in my twenties I developed diabetes and high blood pressure. Now as I approach my fifties (next month) I have to deal with many prescription medicines and doctor appointments. Is hard to modify and change your eating habits especially if you were raised in the manner this lady is doing to her son. "I never thought I would reach 40 years old, much less 50. It has affected me in so many ways: I'm single never been married , poor social skills . So my message to Taylor is this: You still have time time to turn things around for you and your son. Make the changes to live a healthy and productive life.
Damn was fast food really that common 50 yrs ago already?? That sounds like an exceptionally awful scenario. Your parents must've put some real effort into leaning into that junk food that much that it's had such a long lasting effect on your health. I'm very sorry to hear that. Sending you all the best wishes!
You can still turn things around. Look up "Dr Berg keto diet" on youtube. I was getting SERIOUS health issues relating to diabetes and sleeping away all my free time just to keep up. I've lost a ton of weight and don't feel tired all the time. No excuses.. do it soldier.
Our mom used to stand in the kitchen for 2-3 hours almost every day preparing fresh meals while also doing the grocery shopping, taking care of the household and working a full time job (thanks mom for being such a good role model ❤️). It is beyond my understanding how someone can be so lazy and feed their children nothing but junk food when (frozen) fruits and veggies have never been more accessible at the grocery stores. 🤦
This is not a good role model. Don't understand me wrong, I am all for cooking fresh food and women working. But, where was DAD in this? He should have done cooking and grocery shopping as well.
@@mariaelena9369 your point being? This is how my parents chose to live their life. They were both very ambitious, hard working people. That's maybe also the reason why they were able to build a house, travel the world and drive sports cars when they were still young. 🤷♂️
I was a fast food baby.... by time I was 15 i was over 350 pounds, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, etc etc. I'm glad I stopped fast food because now it actually makes me sick from the grease and taste of it. Even so fast food cost more now and can make way better healthier home meals
I am so glad I found these videos last month, ten hour days of doing nothing at work waiting for customers. I started learning a lot about weight loss and gaining weight, started counting my calories and figured out that I am a stick figure because of a caloric deficit, even though I ate mostly junk food. Started eating better foods that actually supply me with enough calories to start gaining weight. Mind blown.
Pretty sad that that little boy asked for a pear and his mother wouldn't let him have one (and, according to her, he's never even tasted a pear!) Plus she's only 19 and had already had a heart attack, yet learned nothing from it at all!
A reminder that she has a 3 year old, at 19, that means she was pregnant at 15 and a mum at 16. She is very very young and has little life experience. She needs help to learn those skills she may have had time to develop if she had more time before having children. But she is a child with children. It’s not surprising. She goes with what’s easiest
@@KateeAngel I wonder if she also had working parents that relied on fast food because it was cheap and convenient too, so she never learned to cook or eat any other way.
I mean I agree but I’m 19 and even I have basic common sense that if I had a child I wouldn’t feed him/her junk food at every meal. You don’t need to have a lot of life experience to know that junk food is bad for you and worse for children.
My nephew's egg donor is like this. THROWS A FIT if nephew even TRIES to ask for or order healthier food. "YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE ME LOOK BAD!" Not enough to be gargantuan herself, she has to try to make everyone around her including her CATS obese too, so she won't....look bad? She ordered two giant cheeseburgers for ME the last time I had the misfortune of visiting, despite my asking repeatedly for ONE non giant cheeseburger, and then tried to shame me for not eating it because she paid for it. "You can't eat that one? MY BROTHER CAN EAT EIGHT." I said, "I probably CAN but that doesn't mean I should. Give it to him, then." Catbutt face, as always, lol. "Are you SURE you're not anorexic?" Me: "I'm quite sure, but thanks for your concern about the health of MY diet." CATBUTT FACE INTENSIFIED, lol. I ate half that giant cheeseburger that night and the other half the next morning. "NO YOU HAVE TO EAT IT NOW OR IT WON'T BE GOOD." Again: "Thanks for your concern but I'm fine." Giant--literally--TODDLERS. Nephew is escaping ASAP after he turns eighteen. Yeah this always gets me. Not as a baby, but as a young child I ended up with a caffeine addiction by the age of 8 because my parents would always give me Coca Cola. I have a sister with severe disabilities and they were always so busy caring for her, they just sort of neglected me. It was easier to just give me whatever I wanted so I wouldn’t ever complain or need anything myself. Really not great though, for my relationship with food, my health, my body or my self esteem in general growing up.
@@hikikomori867 I’ve heard of this and remember really resonating with it when I read it but forgot the name of the concept, thank you so much! I hope you’re doing okay now, or at least that life is better
This one hits a bit close to home, my mom also didn't know how to cook and was addicted to coca cola, to no surprise I became a obese child addicted to soda and junk food, took me a good while to lose the weight and to this day I still struggle to have a healthy relationship with food, but it's slowly getting to a point where I feel stable and healthy, still not quite there, but never giving up.
I had a similar story, only my mother got us fast food out of convenience. I was obese as a child and still am in my 40s. I have never had a good relationship with food and can't imagine I ever will. It's critical to teach children healthy eating habits, especially by modeling them.
@@MollieFrieWeevilGenius for sure, It's one of those things where if you don't have a good example from the get go it's really hard to motivate yourself to change because it's comfortable, nostalgic and what you're used to, I got lucky that some people intervened in my life on my behalf on my teenage years, got me to like exercising and from there on I started to learn bit by bit to create habits that make me feel better, I'm 26 now and still learning, it's a huge difference from the relationship my husband has with food since he got the good example right from the start, it's pretty crazy to see it
Same. Thankfully my dad was the healthy eater in the household and would make homemade healthy meals for me. But since he worked 14 hours a day to provide at the time, dinner was mostly whatever my mom could drive thru and order.
My boyfriend and I watched this documentary and I sometimes reference to him "can we eat that sugar?" Because its so tragi-comic and situationally perfect.😅
I feel guilty when I make a frozen pizza and some salad for dinner because I don’t feel like cooking every once in awhile. I can’t imagine how horrible I’d feel if I fed my kids like this every day 😢 poor little guy. I hope they’re doing better now.
There's sport medic doctor here in Brazil called Paulo Muzy who once said that the best way of changing a child diet is starting changing the parents' diet because,as a example, if you give your son a broccoli to eat while you eat a pizza,he won't want eat his broccoli and will think that he's being punished
I have severe food problems due to autism. Luckily I have family members and friends who eat anything and who have already promised to help me with my future kids♡ And the thought of my future kid eating something I couldn't just fills me with pride. I will for sure do my everything to help my kids eat everything, even things I can't eat. It's really healthy to try new foods too.
I’m from Flint, Michigan and I call it pop too. In the U.S. it’s called pop in the midwest region and giving it to toddlers is insane. I’m so glad my traditional Mom cooked us healthy meals and limited sugary treats. I crave fruits and vegetables and realized quickly as a teen that fast food binges make you feel like crap ten minutes later. I wish people could eat healthy for 30 days to know how much better you feel.
I was helping the teacher of a kindergarten class. A boy who "lived" mostly on Pop Tarts actually gagged when I asked him to try a baby carrot that the children were given for a snack. I thought that he was literally going to throw up. So sad.
I know a kid who refuses to eat fruits or veggies, and would gag over MY son's lunch because he always has a fruit and a vegetable, and his fried rice/noodles are always packed with like 5 types of veggies. He's an active kid despite being overweight, but it makes me so sad that he's probably deficient in so many vitamins and minerals.
Kiana, your videos help me stay on track and help me teach my kids how to eat healthy. This series absolutely breaks my heart for those kids but it's so eye opening to your audience. Thank you.
As a 19 year old, I’m glad I don’t have any kids. I’m sure I wouldn’t fail the diet portion AS bad as the people from this show, but I wouldn’t be a good dad in this stage of my life.
It really is giving up your own life to serve other people and its not easy. Its not quite like being a monk but its probably like being a soldier ..they dictate when you wake up what you eat and its a lot of thinking energy and worry energy. Bevause youre always thinking about did they eat enough do they need help with maths is that table edge going to be bad if that kid gets any more tired and hyper...its a LOT. And the more youve worked in some hard jobs before doing kids i think the better because hard work is what it is. And the more youre used to that and enjoy that i think the better. I was used to being a total float around twat who did ehatever whenever and when i had kids it was such a big change for me it was very overheleming. I dont think it matters how old you are but i do think how prepared you are and dedicated you are is important.
As a 22 year old, I made a vow to not even think about conceiving a child until I'm at least 25. I have, of course, partially written a pledge to them, with the only rule being I can add and edit it until the day I find out I'm pregnant with my first child. Then I follow the pledge to the T. My diet hasn't been the best either, but I'm getting better, it's only been a few days since having Maccas, and I justified the junk food in the name of gaining weight (currently underweight). Was raised on a pretty healthy, yet bland, diet as a child, so I kinda went rank once I turned 18 with the junk; chocolates, chips of all sorts, burgers, KFC, etc. I say 25 because that's the supposed "age of maturity", but executive functions don't fully develop until 30 years old. So by the time my first is ready for school, I'll be just finally fully adulting. As it should be.
There's a kid that comes to my son's daycare who is only 3 and has teeth rotting. It's unusual in Australia with the fluoride we have in the water and it makes me so sad to see the poor little thing.
Not making excuses because you probably know more than any of us do, but this could actually be a medical thing. My nieces had to get caps on their teeth because they're just genetically predisposed for it. That and their mom wasn't aware just how bad fruit snacks are for kids teeth.
The more I watch these the more I realized my baby sister was a fast food baby, which is just another addition to the mountain of horrible things my mother has done.
My first kid was a great eater as a baby. Ate off our plates, didn't matter if it was spicy, curries, salad, vegetables, whatever. When he turned 2, it was like someone flipped a light switch and he got extremely picky. Only wanted junk, which we didn't even really have at home. I worked with him to eat something healthy. We did the smoothies, protein waffles, hidden vegetables, whatever. Some days he barely ate and I figured if he's hungry, he will eat 🤷♀️ Now he has grown out of it and will actually ask for vegetables he likes for dinner. I can't imagine just giving in and actively malnourishing your child.
RE: Kiana's question -- "How do they find these people." I'm from California and I live in Britain. I can tell you it is not hard. As far as I can tell the four British food groups are booze, smokes, fried things, and sweets. The amount of junk food adults and children eat is so high and considered so normal that people think I'm some kind of lunatic for not allowing my kids multiple treats a day.
In the poorer areas of Britain it's far easier to find unhealthy families that live on junk food than healthy families. I'm from one of the poorest areas in the UK and had chicken nuggets for every meal as a child and can't remember ever eating a vegetable. All of my friends were exactly the same. It's strange, because fruit and vegetables are far cheaper than McDonald's and frozen nuggets.
not necessarily true. in the us obesity levels are higher and its very rare to see someone over 400 pounds, in america they have a show called my 600 pound life. also portion sized are a lot bigger. we are by no means perfect and absolutely have to change things but i wouldn't say its worse than the us and it also depends where you look. working class people are way more likely to consume junk because its quicker and cheaper, but upper middle class areas tend to be very healthy because they have the resources. In california you may have been interacting with the latter group rather than the former
@T Townsend generalising, much? As a Brit born and bred I have never encountered anyone who lives the way you say ‘we’ do. Not saying it doesn’t ever happen, of course it does! As it does in every country worldwide. This is in no way a typical British parent, that’s all I’m trying to say.
@Palantiri I'd disagree that it's just the South, a lot of the midwest/ plains states are pretty heavy too. For both these regions it's probably somewhat related to how rural it is there-- you've got to drive anywhere worth going. Not to mention the humidity, by god.
I live with students in the east of the uk and as a student myself the majority of us dont even eat the way you say we do And students are labled as poorer and less responsible members of society While my group doesnt prove we are all eating well it does show that there are responsible and unresponsible eaters as well as more nuanced issues surrounding food both here and the US Please dont generalise an entire country based off the people you seem to be surrounding yourself with 😅 especially coming from the US Its like us moving to the fattest town in texas and being like Yup this is the usa 🇺🇸 Edit spelling
It's gotta be B for me. The fact that someone genuinely believes they don't control what their kid eats is beyond insane. All three are nuts to be fair though.
Re: her not being obese yet: she could actually be fasting between meals. Idk about the US but here having junk food for every meal doesn't necessarily equate to severe overeating. I've known several friends who only eat fried, beige foods but aren't obese because they either don't eat a lot or have a really unhealthy lifestyle including skipping meals often. This is especially common with smokers because their appetites get suppressed. And actually if she drinks a lot of fizzy drinks that's a lot of caffeine which suppresses your appetite as well.
Yep. Knew a girl at school who only ate potato faces (think Americans call them tater tots?) and nuggets. She got served special meals by the cooks, thinking back I think she had some type of sensory aversion. She was skinny, blonde, and gorgeous. But I didn't ever see her eat a single vegetable.
Carbonated drinks=/=caffeinated, though that is pretty common. Depends on what kind it is. Oddly, if the kid is getting caffeine and he does have ADHD, that may actually be helping his ADHD. Stimulants are the go-to treatment for ADHD, though it's usually low doses of amphetamines. Sugar content might counteract the benefits, though.
I honestly think she is obese or very close just doesnt weigh or track herself Peoples idea of where obesity starts is often skewed and theyre picturing much bigger people But to be grade 1 obese you only need to have a BMI of 30 When i was obese i was 185lbs at 5ft 5 and had a bmi in the low 30s and when i would say i am obese people would say Nah you are just overweight No - i am obese Either way you can see in her body she has a high %body fat for her frame
Taylor wasn't even an adult by the time she had her first kid and she's a single mother with two kids. I get that those children are fully dependent on her and her family, and that a mother should put their children first, but I don't think it's wild or insane or deplorable that she keeps making things about herself. It's almost inevitable. She's barely an adult. If anything having kids probably thrust her into adulthood far before she was ready to deal with it, to have another life in her hands. What she needs is a better support group. She needs people who are both sympathetic and are willing to impart their wisdom, to be patient with her as she continues to grow because she's not even fully mentally developed yet. We have no idea what the circumstances are in why she had those children, the fact is that they exist, they're here now, and they can't get the help they need if their guardians are struggling.
@@amandak.4246 That's very troubling territory though. So the child gets taken away - where does the child go? Will they end up somewhere that is actually better for them? Is that the right thing to do for both parties in the grand scheme of things? The children already exist, so there's no putting that genie back in the bottle. The reality is, lots of people are going to get roped in because a child had a child, whether it's that child's mother, grandmother, extended family, or foster guardians. With more support, the burden doesn't land on one person's shoulders. With more support, people can make up for other people's shortcomings. Perhaps if that support was there in the first place, none of this would have ever happened. Who's to say, who ultimately knows?
Taylor seems very depressed, someone really has to be struggling to know their diet gave them a heart attack and still not want to change… I really hope she can change her mindset especially for Harley’s health 😕

Saying “I don’t know how to cook” is just another way of saying, “I don’t know how to follow basic instructions”. It’s extremely easy, people like this just don’t want to put in the effort because they are lazy 🙄 poor kid. With a mum this lazy, poor diet is going to be the least concerning aspect of this child’s upbringing.
Right? "I can't cook complex X course meals with a great variety of spices and textures", sure, I understand and relate to.
"I can't cook" plain and simple feels so alien to me.
The funny thing though is that she goes out of her way to pay huge amounts of money for the food anyway so why not do one of those food subscribtion services? Even if you don't know how to cook, which I understand as not knowing how to cook something you'll actually enjoy eating and so it feels like a waste of time and effort to do so, there are still frozen meals out there that aren't necessarily fast food.
Perhaps she can’t read?
@@Tina06019 she clearly knows how to read a menu. If you watched the entire video, you would see that she proves she is capable by making a “healthier” version of pizza at home and also openly admits to her laziness being the reason she doesn’t cook. She is expressly more focused on herself, her lack of motivation and her own social agenda than she is the welfare of her child. I would never advise trying to make excuses for irrefutably toxic behavior, people who are lazy and unmotivated thrive on excuses and the ones they come up with for themselves are lame enough. There are people in 3rd world countries who have never read a single word in written text and are somehow capable of cooking over an open fire to feed their families food they had to hunt and gather themselves; anyone with modern amenities like stoves and ovens and grocery stores have zero excuses.
I mean, I have a very poor memory and when I have to cook things on the top of the stove, I have to ask for help as to what "number" I have to put the stove on (yk, like the crank that says 2, 4, 6, etc. Basically the heat of the stovetop? I feel I'm over explaining-) soup, eggs, even simply boiling water can be difficult to remember, but I do have a notebook with little notes on basic meals I guess. Some things aren't really written and you do have to learn some things, but if you do it enough times, you definetly can know exactly what to do!
(Sorry for the long comment, I saw an opportunity and took it)
This woman is incredibly immature, even for 19. It’s clear she doesn’t view her children as people outside of herself. It seems like she’s believes they are just extensions of herself. She says “we don’t like that” and she doesn’t take them to the dentist because s SHE’S afraid. If she had never had children she might have grown up and out of this mentality but I’m afraid that since she has kids she’s going to be frozen in time as a childish narcissist. I really wonder what her childhood was like and how she was raised.
Narcissist. Exactly.
She's definetly one of those mums you see in crime documentaries that kill her kids (typically right before a custody battle/custody visit/seeing family/a medical or dental visit/school enrollment/basically anywhere the children would be looked after in public, or while she's with a dude who doesn't like kids) simply because she's afraid of admitting to and taking responsability for neglecting/abusing them and/or wants the instant gradification of "freedom" she would've gotten if she had the balls to get through the obligated 18 years you sign up for upon having and keeping your baby.
She wouldn't even let the kid have a pear which would have been no skin off her nose.
Bit late but ive seen the whole doc and the grandma seemed normal
I just wanna say that your videos about people who are addicted to fast food are my main motivation to eat healthier and help me to restrain from eating awful food. Thanks!!
I had a really unhealthy relationship with McDonalds during my early childhood, due to pickiness and convience, though I don't remember it. I eventually got over it with help from my mom finally getting me to eat other things, but I can't imagine if she only encouraged it. Poor kid.
McDurdel's, Nikocado Avocado refers to it as.

she’s literally nutrient depriving her baby and causing major harm to his health. she can naturally select herself with that behavior but doing this to a baby? i don’t understand how she even has custody
Well if the baby lives it would not be darwinian selection now would it? :)
In Finland we get the social work involved if a parent fails to bring their child to a healthcheck appointment for example a dentist appointment.
Taylors depressed, you can tell by the smile when she says "probably won't be here in 10 years"
She has two kids before 19, she probably had major baby blues and you can tell she has not fully adjusted from teenager to teenage mom.
Hopefully lmao
Does she not realise she will leave her kids as orphans if she dies in 10 years or less?
@@Je_Ne_Vive of course she realises, depressed people give up and don't care about anything

They used the fear tactic on me and it worked lmao, but I definitely don’t think it’s for everyone.
It can work, but way less with anorexia
Many anorexics including me before, aren't phased or stopped by the threat of death, they already know that's the result, and where it might work for this woman who's bad diet is due to ignorance, for people with eating disorders like anorexia which often stem from trauma, mental illnesses, etc it's unlikely to work and knowing me and the other people I knew, it can even egg on and encourage the eating disorder, being taken as "wow, I'm so thin that people are telling me I'll die, it must be working"
My anorexia started in 2nd grade. Broke my foot shortly after. My pediatrician (who was awesome.) Told me that if I didn't start eating again I wouldn't walk
I've seen a lot when it comes to problematic childhoods, but this level of neglect truly breaks my heart
As a 19-year-old, I am disgusted!!! This woman is insane I swear
Legit though… she has 0 brain cells. It’s quite sadly actually
Naw, she's just another teenager. I'm happy you're doing better but as someone in my 30s I'm not in the slightest surprised
@@ghostoflazlo just another teenager is a broad generalization. Most teenagers don’t even have kids.
@OdinsSage okay? I never said anything about that lol.
You are a good sibling! Being older is hard but sometimes we gotta do what our parents don’t do!
you are an amazing sibbling. I hope your sister is ok.
Wow, you are a wonderful sibling!
Wow you were younger than the teenage mom in this video and 100% more responsible than she is. Your a very nice brother/sister for your sibling!
I’m so sorry your parents are completely useless. Honestly if I were u I would contact cps/social services on them. Please don’t be afraid to dial for the child line. Neglect is a serious form of child abuse

I will now refer to my husband's...husband bit...as his "Donor Kabab." "Honey, I need the Donor Kabab tonight!"
I haven't seen a 19 year old look this much older than their age since eddie hall
Yeah, eating this unhealthy can age you so much. An example of this is how it can cause children to start puberty very early.
@@Cattleya69 I don't think early puberty has much to do with looking older, I started puberty at 9 and now at 19 people confuse me with a 14 year old all the time. I think it's the bad health that comes from the unhealthy eating that makes people look older.
I saw her picture and thought she was like my age and I'm 43.
This is so unbelievably depressing. As harsh as it sounds, some people really don’t deserve children.
I think it should be mandatory for people who want kids, to pass a capability test as soon to be parents, to see if they understand and know what it means to raise kids. Where I live you have to pass two tests to own a dog, similar to getting your driver's license. But for raising kids, there's no such thing
I’m just curious which country you live in where there are tests? I’m in Canada.
I agree. Just because you CAN make a baby, does not mean you SHOULD. Mandatory standards for having babies, parenting classes and job training.
Oh but that means she has to actually go without sex, and that’s the worst possible thing to do to that type of woman because patriarchy
Make the changes to live a healthy and productive life.
Damn was fast food really that common 50 yrs ago already?? That sounds like an exceptionally awful scenario.

How can child protection keep this under wraps and not intervene? This mother shouldn't be allowed to keep these children.
This is really upsetting. As a little kid, I drank a lot of soda, but I did have home cooked meals.

I live with students in the east of the uk and as a student myself the majority of us dont even eat the way you say we do
And students are labled as poorer and less responsible members of society
While my group doesnt prove we are all eating well it does show that there are responsible and unresponsible eaters as well as more nuanced issues surrounding food both here and the US
Please dont generalise an entire country based off the people you seem to be surrounding yourself with 😅 especially coming from the US
Its like us moving to the fattest town in texas and being like
Yup this is the usa 🇺🇸
Edit spelling
when he said "can we eat that sugah" my heart melted, so cute
It's gotta be B for me. The fact that someone genuinely believes they don't control what their kid eats is beyond insane. All three are nuts to be fair though.
Honestly 🤦🏾♀️😭
@@Nixeu42 yah but like the most popular carbonated drink here has a load of caffeine so it's a sound guess
I honestly think she is obese or very close just doesnt weigh or track herself
Peoples idea of where obesity starts is often skewed and theyre picturing much bigger people
But to be grade 1 obese you only need to have a BMI of 30
When i was obese i was 185lbs at 5ft 5 and had a bmi in the low 30s and when i would say i am obese people would say
Nah you are just overweight
No - i am obese
Either way you can see in her body she has a high %body fat for her frame
How this is not considered neglect and therefor a crime is completely beyond me
Taylor wasn't even an adult by the time she had her first kid and she's a single mother with two kids.
These Parents are cruel to their sons by eating Junk Food only. Makes me sick.
