The cookies will crack on top; this is normal and characteristic of snickerdoodles!

Made exactly except i used chicken broth instead of wine, and left the nutmeg out. Never un adding nutmeg to ruin such a great dish. It was super good.
This might sound crazy, but I'm curious before I make these- does the rum extract make them take taste like alcoholic egg nog? We don't drink alcohol, so we're used to the grocery store stuff you can give to your kids. So would using the rum extract make it taste less like the egg nog we actually drink? Honestly they sound great with or without it.
