All you did was remove the low Freon and add the correct amount. Being a GM mechanic for 8yrs and also having my 608/410A cert I can tell you that Freon which if you want to get technical is Refrigerant Freon was just a brand name is a chemical not a liquid it is a self contained system the only time it EVER gets low is when it is leaking! 100% of the time no questions about it. You can check evaporator compressor but my money would be on the condenser almost 100% of the time that is the cause blowing cold to warm from right/left. Check to see if the windshield is fogging up which would be from the refrigerant leaking out the dash vents causing a film. End of the day the customer complaint was Not corrected just a bandage applied. Promise they will be back!
So far they have not been back!
Nice job brother. One question..i halow much was the total oil you added to the system ?
How low did u get the car too my car never go below 60 degrees
Huh?
@@RBTheMechanic the inside vent
Leaking freon does not cause air to enter the system. You pull a vacuum on the system then pressurize it with freon so unless you lose all the pressure in the system air is not going to get in
Yes but it’s dosent not mean the air that’s in the system cannot expand from hot temp causing wrong reading anyways ur correct but at same time pressure can be false reading
If your car is still getting cold on one side that means there is still freon in system. If there is still freon present there will never be air in system cause freon pressure is leaking out with positive pressure hence why on pressure gauges both the high and Low sides always read pressure. System would almost have to be completely empty and pulling a vacuum in order to get air inside. That's my opinion let me know what u think.
Understand but some people don’t vaccum the systym when they last had changed components and then just jamm in Freon with cans
I have the same issue but when I bought AC refrigerant and plugged it in it was on the green so I didn’t add it, what’s the solution. It’s a Honda pilot 2011
That can stuff is now good have the system vacuum and recharged with ac machine
How much those this cost my car is doing the same thing on one side it’s cold and in the driver side is not?
If u need ac service it’s around $160-190
I have almost the same problem but mine it happens when the heater is on,one vent on the passenger blows cold and the other one blows lukewarm but the driver's side blows hot as expect, the car got a single climate control,i flushed the heater core 3times but I'm still getting same results, what could be the problem?
Oh ok if it’s heat the it could be blocked core
Thank you Sir,i will try to unblock it.
Hi I have a 2006 toyota sienna and my car issue is when I turn on heat , only driver side heat working, passenger side normal air no heat ,
Dose it have dual climat control? If so check that side bled door motor for operation
where in jersey you located brother?
Bayonne
i need your help brother i might need to come see u im in elizabeth
@@brooklynbullies905 ok closee what’s the issue
@@RBTheMechanic im having the same issue with the blend motor i tried what you said but its still blowing hot im not sure if it needs frione or needs to be vacuumed.
@@brooklynbullies905 if ur bled door is good then next step is to do the ac system service use ac machine to recover vaccum and recharge that should do it proppery
The video he made didn’t fix the issue. Issue still there. Driver side hot and passenger side cold. He didn’t show to anyone. He just didn’t the regular maintenance. It’s good video for regular maintain the ac system. But not the hot and cold problem
Try it if u having the issue!!
Lol It still the same. You didnt fix nothing
Nope fixed did that on many cars!!
Why was temperture still above 60?
@@adobemanagement8 it wount got cold I didn’t give enough time
If a system lost freon then there is a leak somewhere. Freon isn't like oil or gas which burns up. Freon system is a closed , sealed system and freon should never leak out and if it does then there is a leak. U can not pull a proper vacuum on a system with a leak . Pulling vacuum on system with leak does nothing unless u find a repair leak.
@@jhhvacplumbing1944 well uv dye works trying to find is leak can be super difficult anyways yup ur correct if system is low or empty it got leak some where
