In today's travel video I am inviting you to make a Thai food tour in a beautiful place called Wat Saphan Floating Market.
It is located in just 30 minutes drive from Bangkok's downtown (in Taling Chan district of Bangkok) and is not very well known to foreign visitors and locals, however it has so much to offer - delicious Thai street food, charming atmosphere, beautiful temple and amazing friendly people!

Older old fashioned Thai people are like that. They say the same thing to their Thais. When they see you in your late 20's - 30's they want you to have a family. They feel sort of sad when they see you alone by yourself.
They're just trying to be friendly, which may seem intrusive to westerners. Then again these are older old fashioned Thais. Needless to say not all Thais are like that. Anyway, welcome back, bro! Good to see you back and well!
Yes in my trips to Thailand's I realised ...the older gen looked sad when they asked when anyone is alone ..
@@babyeito3342 Yes. Also, they said to get MIA Thai or Thai wife b/c they like you/Mickey in this case. They want to tie you up and keep you in Thailand. That's all!
That being said, not everyone wants to get married and have a family. They're just happy being alone as they can get all the freedom they can get. Everyone is different!!

Hey Mickey, glad you're feeling better man! I appreciate the captions a lot as someone attempting to learn Thai. That looked like a bird's eye chili you ate which are much hotter than the typical pointy Thai Jinda chilis. Great episode and glad to have you back!
Thanks Bryan, actually all videos made in the past 2 years have subtitles, just in case.
And those were "prik kariang" (bird's chilli) which are shorter and wider than "prik ki nu" (bird's eye chilli) and even hotter - recommended for "iron stomachs and flameproof tongues" 😅

Your Thai has dramatically improved in this episode. Impressive
Uthai-thani and Kampangphet are the areas i do recommend in this season. Those provinces are not too far from BKK with beautiful sceneries and many things to see. Very quiet and peaceful, good for motorbike tour. Khlonglan waterfall is something you can't miss. Anyway the ear ring looks good on you :) Take care, Mickey

Would love it when you use more pronunciations as you often do telling what the tai language is just like how I learned from you multiple times repeating "Mi aow thung" means without plastic bag. When I travel I always get stuck in to video in that country and I find video's like yours the most entertaining and also education which is important for people visiting a other country. I plan to live in Thailand later, and I'm wondering what format will I choose and I think that only live in Phuket is not the best one. So i'll certainly live some month in city like Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
Indeed, Islands in the rainy season don't look that pretty, and there is nothing else to do. I'd better spend this time in the Northern Thailand, even when it's raining - it's still magical!
