This is Alcaraz at his lethal best. I was so nervous for him going into this match. He had to be at his best to beat his opponent because his opponent is deadly and boy did he deliver. Welcome back Carlitos, we love seeing you full of confidence.
Sinner though…
The director always gives this baboon an easy draw. Other guy is a stiff
Let’s see what he does with top 10 opponent, wish him all the best.
@@Thomas-fr1jk Sinner is at his best and will probably win the tournament. It doesn't mean that Alcaraz will beat Sinner or even Alex whom he'll likely play next. But it means that Alcaraz is playing again with confidence and playing freely beating two people in the previous rounds who are tricky opponents for him. That's the most important. He's been looking for this confidence for some time. So happy he's found it.
@@kholoudMA94 nothing to discover or see. Alcatraz has won 4 masters two slams. He's not at his best but he's playing with confidence so win or lose he's moving in the right direction. It's a long season so let's see how he's playing in the end of spring and we'll assess his performance then.
My god, I've missed this version of Carlitos for the last 8 months. It's charismatic, passionate and highly entertaining in a way that I haven't felt since Roger. May this run of form continue!!
Let's just not forget Roger didn't even win his first GS yet at Carlitos age....
@@mireafelder8194That doesn't make his opinion any less true
@@NamTran-xc2ipI didn't say anything what would make his opinion any less true.🤷♂
Too bad he still grunts
@@Isildur94As do so many others... Zverev is probably the worse, Nadal was so, so bad in grunting as well...
Alcaraz is back. Either him or sinner will win this tournament, they are both at a ridiculously high level so far. My pick is carlitos
I want also Carlitos to win. But damn... Sinner is scary
Sinner's out
@@ernestogruesono?
Medvedev can beat anybody and Zverev too..Shelton is dangerous for Sinner. But they are the favourites.
yo voy con sinner, me encanta su juego
Alcaraz played really well.
Maroszan can still be proud of himself.
You don't beat Rodinov, Jarry and Seyboth Wild after one another by accident.
You don’t beat Nadal, Djokovic and Zverev after one other by accident as well…
That too for second masters title
@@chaitanyathakkar7382 second masters
@@Beth0126 sorry, first was Miami
What a difference confidence can make in a player, Carlos was going off. Hope to see it continue throughout this tournament and the rest of the season!
This is the first match in a long time I see Carlos releasing the full power of his forehand. He has been hitting a lot more top spins for some reason. I don't know if it's some kind of tactical decission or he thinks it's better in the long term. The fact is, when he plays like today, hitting flat bombs left and right, he's much more dangerous and fun to watch.
Exactly my thought, good to see that forehand again..
He can't play his best all the time. He was timing the ball perfectly today. That's not always the case so he plays with more margin and more spin when he's not timing it well. Otherwise he's prone to making lots of unforced errors.
9.5 FH accuracy, this was ridiculous.😳You can't expect this in every match though, the guy is human.
@apathak34 true, he wasn't his best at Wimbledon final, making a lot of errors then dialed it back a bit with more spin start of the 2nd set
Favourite moment was a slice battle, where Charlie broke the crosscourt pattern with an inside-out BH slice wide to the Hungarian's FH side, and then when Maroszan hit a weak reply, Alcaraz fucking obliterated the ball with a thunderous FH.
Great point construction with aa fabulous brutal finish.
That forehand at the end was insane.
that forehand was a very slow 105 mph 😂
@@Alaskaxp2 faster than my biggest serve :D
Good win for Carlos against a tricky opponent. A semifinal between Carlos and Jannik would be great.
Its rare that a top tennis player is also so lovable, thats why he has so many fans. Sure hope he wins the Title. He is giving lessons on how to be a champ in more ways than one
His honesty is refreshing, when he is beaten he is telling the truth. Nadal always had an injury when he got beaten.
God Bless Always Carlos Alcaraz 🙏🇪🇸🇵🇭
ive missed this Carlos from a little while. Great win, irrespective of the result. I hope he can keep this level and form.❤
Alcaraz is starting to look like himself again. Enjoying his tennis and playing at a crazy level.
I really hope Alcaraz will keep improving and I hope he will soon reach Sinner's consistency. He is such a talented player and enjoyable to watch. The back vs back exchange ending with a missle forehand was so beautiful
Carlos is close to his best level in this match. He needs to bring this to the match against Sinner. Quick thinking and excellent decision making on shot selection is the key.
50 M1000 wins with only 20 years. Outstanding
I have not watched Alcaraze playing so well after last year 's Wimbledon.
Maybe Alcaraze is really back 💪💪💪
Alcaraz is a world class volleyer
If i wasn't italian, i would be alcaraz fan, for sure. I love his tennis
Fabian's reaction at 2:58 is funny lol
They both were waiting for a chance to strike and he made the mistake first.
Great performance from both
Alcaraz hitting 100 mph forehands from no pace balls is crazy. Yes other can hit too but he does it so often in match when he is on. Match to September gonna be fun
Welcome back my man! Where have you been? Congrats bring it home!!!
VAMOS CARLITOS!!! his shots were well chosen.
¡¡Este es nuestro Carlitos!! 💪💪 otro pasito más!! 💃🇪🇸
Sinner lo aplastara en semis o si no antes, en cuartos contra zverev o de minaur...

Sinner Alcaraz will be a Hell of a Ride. Holy shit, the guys will set new benchmarks
Pretty much like Nole and Nadal. Hopefully, Sinner and Alcaraz stay as consistent as they have.
It’s time. Out with the old, in with the new. I love the trinity, but we need Djokovic to be stopped.
@@gablan1468 Rafa Nole too much better than these next generation. They were on top about 15 years.
@@NurAlym-yv5dx And their peak was higher (if not a step higher) than sinner or alcaraz now, even last year's carlos/ today's carlos isnt on the level of prime rafa or novak maybe in a couple of years jannik and carlos will reach that peak level that nadal and djokovic reached even federer, the consistency is another thing tho that's what made rafa and especially novak great same with federer.
Niether Alcaraz nor Sinner are in their prime yet. Check them up in 3-5 years. @@SENKKOH
Hope Alcaraz can keep up with his momentum!
Alcaraz was on fire today. Better than his other latest matches. Lets see how hell go on.
He was even better against Felix, today he made more unforced errors but he played in a controlled way.
Now this is Carlos Alcaraz!!! I don’t know who has been moonlighting as him for the past few months!
The kid is no robot... I don't know why people expect so much of him, the big 3 had a lot of slumps too, let alone at that age.
@@mireafelder8194 Maybe because he's clearly a tennis phenom who is destined for pretty great things given what he's already accomplished? No one said that he's a robot or that he can't have slumps....obviously he will, he's a human. Naturally, he had an amazing 2022, an incredible 2023...the reality is this season will be a test for him given that he's likely battling the pressure he puts on himself knowing what he's capable of and the pressure he may feel externally. This is just what it is to be an athlete...especially if you show at a young age that you ain't cut from the same clothe as everyone else. It's good to see him get back to his basics, nothing wrong with saying that acknowledging that he will have ups and downs like anyone else.
It is problem when u glory hunt. Novak after 2008 had three years of non slams. Players have dips. No big deal
@@AdyHh-up9ez Novak had a tiny bit more resistance in Nadal-Federer 🤣🤣, just a ted bit more....
@@nyali2 so? Novak is still there. And sinner is reaching high levels. Overall quality of tennis is deepest in history. Players are more athletic. Little slump where he made semis of us open and wtf finals. What a big slump
Amazing tennis as usual alcaraz. Hope u go all the way this time!
These kind of forehand shots was not so common in Tennis earlier. You see the ball coming, you know where it will land, but its so fast that you can't reach! Tremendous.
He is a joy to watch.
Carlitos🤩 a por más 👏🏻👏🏻
Vamosss💪🏻🤘🏻😍🎾✨✨🇪🇸
When Alcaraz gets his timing right then there's nothing more powerful on tour. He has natural power through his athletic body and physicality and then add timing, it's the biggest forehand on tour. Some of those winners were monsters. Spin and power! Better than Sinner.
Really like Maroszcan as a player. Clever calm, like a modern Ljubicic but with two hander backahnd and better footwork!
Yeah his calmness is one of his biggest weapons. He doesn't show any emotion and also plays the big points in a very cool and detached way. Doesn't seem to be in awe of anyone.
2:45 This is real tennis full of finesse 😂
Carlos played like I have never seen him before, planning every point carefully, constantly changing the shot type, very analytic play. Good for him, but I miss the magic against Sinner in the US open for example
He's baaack - and growing out his facial hair so he looks like his mural! Vamos Carlitos!!!! All the way!!
Were starting to see the future without the big 3. Future looks bright!
Alcaraz has improved serve and he is going to end all this recent bias. Just wait n watch. People wrote him off soon and will eat their words by year end😂
He has one problem though guess who that is
@@Thomas-fr1jk there is no problem. He is 20 and will beat those problems again. Cope

Well done Carlos! 👏😍

Very happy ❤Carlitos este Carlos your fans too ✅
DIOS SALVE A ALCARAZ!
Damn!! IW is one tournamnent where he changes gears in his level
Great match from Carlos. Glad to see him playing better he did at the Netflix Slam. We missed the guy since Cincinnati. Good luck for your next matches I’m hoping for a Sinner v Alcaraz semi final
Ainda bem que apareceu alcaraz pra salvar o tênis
Damn how fast were those forehands
Maroczan's game relies heavily on the unpredictability of his shots. Fewer chances to do it here on the highly uniform bounce of the hard Indian Wells court. Also Alcaraz was much better prepared for any surprises that might have come as he had faced in their last meeting.
the dude is rocking...dang!!
Alcaraz is like "now you know how plays real Alcaraz" to Maroszan.
Marozsan is a clay player and this match wasn't one sided at all.
Carlos on fire🔥
Vamos Carlitos 😃😘
Happy to see him back

All respect to the Hungarian but Alcaraz is now the best in the world. His forehand "weapon" is the best at the moment.

Should be a good match
Carlitos is getting back to his best. If he can beat Sinner in the final, then his confidence will skyrocket and we will finally get back the beast that we love. That being said, Zverev will test him in the QF.

Please can you not give away the winner in the title. I love watching your highlight reels and even more so when i don't know who is going to win. The thumbnails and titles should be neutral, please 🙏🙏🙏
Things to notice:
Someone has to tell Alcaraz team a problem that has not been fixed for a while, and one underrated reason on the lost of aggresiveness
Forehand at 0:38 - Nadal technique, means speed loss, result = Maroszan attacks with his forehand
0:45 - Carlos changes to a standard forehand, result = More depth and pace, Maroszan hits an uncomfortable backhand that goes wide
Also at 2:57 and 3:12
Alcaraz forehand is a God's gift, depending how he uses it, he is taking advantage or just wasting it
How many ATP titles have you won sorry?
