Poor Paige, no one deserves to be treated like that and even less to be humiliated, not to mention she was a kid and I guess no one wants to go through that...

@@sophiebgordon how... He's a judge who has to judge thousands of little kids, he's seen hundreds be humiliated on stage. Showing empathy to a child isn't 'creepy'.

Honestly Paige was set up to fail. She learned her dance in two days and didn't have her music. It's unfair

Everyone learns it in 2-3 days
SHe learned it the year before. She got her music before the competition- listen to it in the car, run it at home when you get up, bring an ipod backstage.
@@MsJubjubbird you cannot learn a dance by listening to the song. You need to learn the counts and the only way to remember then is by dancing with the music. She was set up to fail.
Jess Rose in the first episode Christi said the girls learn it in a week then perform but it’s still unfair
She forgot the darn dance because they changed the music on her for the show. Same choreography and same costume as her "Boys, Boys, Boys" solo, but to different music.
Lifetime changes the music in post due to copyright reasons

Nothing to stop her running the dance at home that night or before she leaves. And this was a dance she learnt a year ago so she should be able to go on autopilot

I'm so proud of her for not running off stage. That's a hard thing to do but she wanted to do well so badly. Props to her because she did her best with what she was given. No music to practice to. And what she did remember she did amazingly

Abbie should be humiliated,,, she put a little kid on the stage alone, who had not even practiced with her music. As a dancer, good choreography is set to the music & the music activates our muscle memory. Shame on Abbi for always blaming her mediocrity on someone else. Especially a little kid.

Tbh I was practicing one routine for a dance at the age of 8 without music cause I was sick. I just counted in my head and it worked.

the reason she forgot it was not because of the music change, it was because she was upset and nervous after missing her back tuck. she says in an interview right before she performs the solo, she can’t get rushed up or stressed about the solo if she messes up or forgets part of it, because it makes her forget more, and that’s exactly what happened during this solo.

By the time Fallon came along the show was much more theatrical and overdramatic/scripted. Abby knows well enough you can't disqualify people for forgetting choreography. I mean she judges at these competitions. But even then PAige is her student, Fallon was just auditioning.

the thing is as a competitive dancer for 6 years (i’m 12) sometimes even backstage we will forget it and it will click on stage because we know the music really well so her not having her music till the day of is definitely why she forgot.

I love maddie, I think she is a beautiful dancer, but i think the reason why Maddie is such a good dancer is because she was gifted with it, and because she got privates. I think Abby obviously got her ahead and taught her stuff maybe NONE of the girls knew what to do.

You know when Season 1 is so old when you see the old downloading site on the computer LOL I use to do that now I've found newer and faster ways to download music LOL!
I’m 15. I have been dancing since I was 3. I doubt I could learn a solo in 2 days, get the music the night before the competition and still perform well. It usually takes me 2-3 weeks to learn a solo to a high standard. And I’m almost double the age that Paige was in this clip. Shout out to Paige for being brave enough to step out on stage considering the situation and shout out to all the girls for learning their dances to such a high standard so quickly.
