Can you do a follow-along version of this??
If this gets 100 👍 then I’ll make one :)
Cmon guys! Make it happen !
Yay! Tom, the OP has more than 100 likes on this, so you know we really reeeally want that sweet follow-along action, brother!!
@@lemonaid1796 but just in case like his comment as well
I made it 100. You’re welcome 😁
Underrated channel, undisputed champion of mobility 💪
Milion subscribers nice number 💪
Yes sir!
Gabo Saturno?
Larry wheels of mobility
Underrated? 1.7 mln subs🤣
The dog is adorable, constantly wagging his tail
Loved it.
A dog symbolizes pure unconditional love, more than any other animal in relation to humans. If you are barked at conspicuously often and seemingly for no reason by strange dogs, this means that your family structure is imbalanced. So if dogs bark for seemingly no reason, you should take care of your family. Love, peace, oneness, freedom...
0:47 Doggo is bringing Pebbles here 😂😁😄😄😄
I like your simple, straightforward explanations. But I mostly watch to see your adorable dog!
The essentials! Thank you for sharing your expert advice, Tom! 🙌🏻
Great content! Keep ot going 🎉
Solid advice. I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga for 13 years and agree with you. These are 5 of the most important stretches (for most people).
Solid, thanks. Love the dog!
Great tips! Would be great to get a follow along with those stretches in mind
Best content ever! Thank you Tom!
Do you have any video about breathing during mobility flexibility excerise ?
Great video! I would love to see more upper body stretches. I'm trying to enhance my shoulder mobility for boulder climbing.
Jak zawsze konkretne informacje, dzięki! 🙌
you are like watching art in motion Tom.... beautiful job
Great ones, thanks. Really like wall supported cossack squats too.
Great content! Thank you!
I use Tom’s mobility and stretch routine more than I use anyone else’s. Effective and to the point.
Love it. Thank you!
Awesome, thanks Tom 😊
Great Exercises I do them everyday...thank u Tom😊
Great information here.
"everyone's favorite"😂 but doing the 4 previous stretches (did an up dog and downdog instead of hang coz nowhere to do that) really helped with the last one 🤗 love ur accent
❤❤❤ Excellent stretches! 😊
Thank you for this!
Definitely will try to make these a daily practice! :)
Great video, thanks.
Your body is my inspiration
Dayumm dawg, impressive work. Thank you
dayumm...... sahweet.
So happy I found this channel a couple months ago. Your guides have helped me feel supple and ready to tackle my workouts without fear of injury. Thank you!
Will do these every day from now on! Thanks!
no you won't
Happy to find REAL engaged movements… I’m in mid-70’s… I can do all the squats, stretches hamstrings etc.. and do hanging stretch with assistance. Excellent..
Great routine thank you. Is better to do this before or after weight training? (Assuming a
dynamic warm-up prior to train)
something that always makes my hips feel amazing is an elevated pigeon on incline bench, especially with twisting torso towards front knee
Good list
I’ve always taken care of my health but since finding your channel, hearing your philosophies and incorporating a mobility routine my well being has increased substantially. Cheers pal.
Happy to help
The dog is into it as well. Great must use video.
I find myself relying on the same, with the exception of a butcher block over the hanging lat stretch.
Inspirational footage
Thanks sir
very good 👏
Very similar for me; I think one of your videos got me onto the 90-90 which is really sorting some shit out. The only thing that might be a bit different is a pigeon pose? Something with the shin across the body to stretch the glute
Thanks bro 👍
Great stretches! Any suggestions for overcoming hip impingement when squatting? Thanks.
Search banded joint hip mobilization, it's perfect for that
Thank u!🙏🏿
Thank you.
You are in awesome shape..
I just found this channel and subscribed straight away 👌👌👌
I’m 35 y/o, zero flexibility, zero strength, veeeery little fitness experience, but, after losing some weight, I want to become strong and flexible…I don’t want to be only skinny…but I’ve no idea where to start…all this seems so unattainable 🫤 any tips, or directions to particular videos will be greatly appreciated☺️
A seemingly undefiled (no apparent tats) muscular body. I'm going to do these! Thank you, Tom.
thanks man
i really do like me some short stretching session daily instead of long stretching workouts xD
Out of a bewildering world of flexibility routines, thanks so much for digesting it down to something busy, but fitness minded people can actually do.
Love ❤️ your dog 🐕 gracias 😊 nice stretches 😊❤🙏🏻some of those, I can’t perform. Because or a bad shoulder, but the other I like 👍 I know they’re designed for younger people 😂😊❤thanks again
That is a happy doggo 😄🥰
Hey @Tom! I hope you are well my friend. This video is exactly what I was looking for. I have only one question. Do you suggest to do these stretches as pre-workout/ warm up or not? Carry on with the good work man!
Thanks in advance!!!
I do them when my muscles are warmed up after a workout.
As an ultrarunner I still do your stretching routine for runners since last 3/4 years once a week and I do squat standing and other like internal rotations ...As a 50yr I realised that mobility and strengthen helped me a lot of staying injury free and listenning my body...After yesterday 20kms uphill elevation gain 700 mts my body reminds me go to Tom Merrick channel and do that stretching routine for runners that I discovered from a Finish UA-camr also runner Running with Marc😊 All the best from Sintra Lisboa Portugal 😉
best video on youtube
Hey Tom, just wondering if you think the hangs would benefit me as someone who climbs a couple if not three times a week as it is? Also, thanks for the vid, it’s very good 🎉
Good job.i have a question
Before these excercise
Should I warm up?
Or it s not necessary
Amazing from a yoga teacher x
Brillant man
Do you do some other daily practice like skill training?
is the order you presented these the best order to do these in? or is there a better order for beginners lacking your athletics?
Beautiful dog 🐶 lovely
This background is absolutely beautiful 🤍🩷💮💮
so is the foreground, watching Tom is like looking at art
A complete piece of art 🎨❤
Yes, yoga is the best and effective
My dog does the exact same thing when I’m exercising. He grabs his toy, camps out, and initiates a staring contest until I play fetch.
Is there a full body workout that focuses on strength & endurance, but also flexibility & mobility?
I used to do;
-overhead press, floor press (with glute bridge)
-back rows
-deadlifts
-split squats
-sometimes a carry exercise.
Should I just do things separately?
where did you get the pants and shoes?
I am at the peak of my I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream fleshy blob era but have been doing these for a few days now, I already feel a bit more flexible and I'm finding them really good to just build the exercise habit so thanks a lot for this video :)
What are the shoes?
Or mobility exercise?
I like your dog 😊
Where you at?
I live in Valencia Spain. If you ever need a spot, let me know and come over.
By the recent videos it gave me vibes of Malaga but that's just a guess
@@LucasW.B Malaga was before, good spot. Currently in the west coast of Portugal
Foarte inportant 👍💪🏾❤🌏👏
Please do like an hour long full hip mobility video 🥲🥲
As a climber im a huge fan of the frog stretch for opening the hips for small box moves but all these stretches are incredible thanks!
Every day? Whatever warm-up is needed for pancake and press HS, from which I drop into Wheel Pose, then rotate out to left and right. I do front splits every other day. I can't do middle splits, but hopefully will get them one day. I probably don't work on them as much as I should - too frustrating!
The shoes name I need
Good video, Tom. I do all of those daily except that first one.
I’ll have to add that one to my repertoire.
🫡
How many hours does he work out every day on average?
Holy shit - John Stones got a UA-cam channel
Thx! Could you do a follow along 🙏🤩
❤
Which country is this ?
What is that shoe Brand/Model?

I like to add calf, ankle, and glute stretches in the day as well (strengthen too) in addition to similar stretches here.
This will take you all of 10 minutes a day to do and can really make you feel so much better. Sometimes people stretch the hips and lower back but wonder why it may be painful. In my experience, if one part of the chain lacks (like ankles/calves too tight) then it can really bother other parts of the body!
Thanks for sharing, Tom!
I agree, calves are a big addition I would make
Do you think I could describe my stretches in a short text comment? 🤣 But a few have names. Not in order. Down dog, thread the needle, cobra, splits with bunch of variations, windshield wiper, jambe a la main, plough, etc. RDL, but is it a true stretch? 🤔 I do warmups first. No names though. And actually I do a few slow controlled situps first of all to get blood circulating and foot circles right at the start.
What shoes is he wearing?

Looks like Portugal to me
You look pretty youthful.
Is there much hope for men who tend to be gym averse, in suboptimal shape and now in their forties?
My carpet is dirty - I’ll do it next week.
Dog ❤
I love the cavalier king Charles spaniel! Almost as attractive as you!
Calf stretches are a daily.
Aww, poor pup. Just wants to play.
She gets lots of play 🤣
Tom’s in his Britney era with that microphone! 😉
😂 every time I put it on the same thought goes through my head
👀
Can’t take my eyes off the dog…
But don't those require blue shorts? 😜
They’ve been retired 🥲
Don’t have anything to hang from 😢
Nice ideas, but too much yoga style for me. I prefer more disciplined moves such as in martial arts. Nice channel though!
