(tbh just listen to both full performances, AOL Sessions is less than 30 mins and Third Encore has just What I've Done, No More Sorrow and Given Up)

Absolute no disrespect to chester but holding a fry scream for 17 seconds isn't that hard
Sure doing it live after a few songs is damn respectable but fry screams release air very slowly so it's rather a "how long can you hold your breath" then "wow this guy's vocal cords are insane"

When you've had that much pain you'll do anything to let it out and make it go away
In fact this is the 5th song of the set... still, he was putting a lot of effort to sweat that much in 15 minutes xD, one can hear it too, his vocals are absolute insanity... I guess some of the sweat must also be from the spotlights though.

I think he had all the love in the world, but when no one truly understands your trauma, it's still very isolating no matter how much love you have.

I was a member of the LP Street Team when it became the Underground. I met all of you in a backstage meet in Detroit and you guys signed my albums and a poster. I have all the old EPs and the DVD.
I was so disappointed in chicken fricassee the first time I tried it.
My entire life I’ve marveled at the artistic ability of every single one of you, and you truly showed me what an immense amount of talent it took to impact the entire world the way you did.
I hope one day something can resonate with my son like you guys did with me. I hope he can watch a group of individuals grow over decades, and feel a part of that success by seeing it evolve just like he will.
You inspired me to draw, paint, compose, produce, play, write and find others who are driven to do the same.

A song so deep, this song tells the story of a person who is constantly depressed. (Of course you know what depression is) In the lyrics of this song, the writer (Chester Bennington) tries to explain that he has to struggle with himself, and fight himself because of the depression he is experiencing. Because he was so tired and hopeless of it all that he wanted to give up.
This is one of my favourite Linkin Park songs, but it’s really not deep, and quite self-explanatory actually. The lyrics are no brilliance like Waiting for the End, they don’t make you think, it’s just a banger song. You pretty much just repeated the lyrics in different wording 💀

In the live version he has to split the 17 second scream into two parts so it's really an 8 second scream followed by a 6 second scream. Still amazing tho, I can't do a one second scream.

Plenty of people took him seriously and tried to help him, but thats not an easy thing to do. There's no off switch to mental problems...
And people wonder where he had the energy to sing like that. He was filled with things that were haunting him and this was his release.
I believe this to be wrong. He has all the help - his family, his band, his therapists.. I mean, people can help you but you alone will still have the final call for everything.
People are kinda a selfish and only think about themselves when they hear these songs and listen to the lyrics, they don't hear it from the artist, but they filter it through their ego and apply it to themselves, which is OK, but they just think it's written for them and not for the artist himself.
Dont underestimate how hard this is, even if you can sing really well. This is top performance which requires top condition and stamina. He hits those high pitches flawlessly. My highest respect to you.
The lyrics, his gestures, it is all so sad, this man will remain in history as a legend, and me not being religious just hope he truly is resting in peace at last and is in a much better place. RIP Chester, you are missed.
