    Hi, could you please tell me how to revise/fix in the middle of tracking? I've tried manual tracking, but when i tracked until the end of timeline, suddenly the front part all drifted, i also happened when i used the "Adjust Track" method. Hope you can explain this problem. Many thanks !

    when you are setting up the perspective corners, how do you grab the square and the actual corner at once? Do you have to manually grab the square first?? Also its so easy for my mouse the size of the square versus moving it

    When I go to the project tab to drag my clip to the timeline the go back to project, Mocha disappears and when I reopen it and choose select tracking data, there are no layers in the message box that I can track to

    How would this process differ if you are trying to replace a screen without motion? (ie. it is just a stationary screen or still shot of a screen). Also what would you do if the screen replacment needs to be done in the middle of a scene and not from the beginning to end?

    • @linestodesigns
      @linestodesigns  10 місяців тому +1

      Same process only you would skip the motion tracking part of these tutorials - thanks for watching!

    Question: when I'm turning on 3d on the layer (in your case it's a video game), it's not placing in the position of the solid layer created with the camera like in your video. It's like sticking at the center, though with correct movement. Any ideas how to fix it? I'm using 2nd method.

    • @linestodesigns
      @linestodesigns  8 місяців тому +1

      try holding shift when you're parenting it to the solid layer - this should make the video layer snap to the positioning that the solid has, after that you should be able to just adjust scale and position - hope this helps!

    Everytime I use the keylight effect it always makes my footage noisy, I have a great SR but it the noise just kills the entire project. Any tips?

      Okay as soon as I typed this I found a setting in the keylight panel and chanced it to source instead of soft color

    I always find some green edges popping out at some point of the edited video. The tracking never comes out accurate. Any solution for that?

    • @directoraldo

      It used to happen to me to when I started working on Green Screens. You probably did not Key it properly.

    What if my screen (phone screen) has a hand in front of it every so often touching the screen? How do I replace it without the tracking affected by the interruption?

    • @linestodesigns
      @linestodesigns  8 місяців тому +1

      I would use the mocha method and try selecting all points except for the section with the subjects thumb - as long as it has a good portion of the phone to track from you should be all set. Alternatively you can use the 3d camera tracking method as well if the camera tracker has points that aren't obstructed by the subjects thumb

    My superimposed video layer goes flying all over the place when the shot starts playing, instead of staying in place. Any obvious thing I'm missing? (I'm using the second method because the client just gave me a stock video shot with no green or markers or anything.

    • @linestodesigns
      @linestodesigns  8 місяців тому

      When you pick whip it to the solid layer are you holding shift? This will make the layer change its parameters to that solid

    • @jdanielvalento
      @jdanielvalento 8 місяців тому

      @@linestodesigns You're so great for responding on a Friday night (monday deadline). I wasn't holding shift, but just tried that, same results. I must have watched this middle section of your video 10x and tried from scratch 10x, same thing, video layer just goes flying all over the place instead of staying superimposed on the TV screen.

    • @jdanielvalento
      @jdanielvalento 8 місяців тому

      @@linestodesigns you know what - I just realized that you had used both the Track Matte AND Parent & Link pick whips, and I hadn't been using the latter. I'm really sorry if that was obvious and dumb - I'm a video editor and only know the basics of motion, this is the first time I've done something like this for a client. My video is still drifting and not totally staying put, but it's better than it was.
