    Already thinking about things to work on over the winter and this has just been added in. Easy drill and explained perfectly so it’s easy to understand and replicate without having you (both) there to make sure it right. Thinking my SwingPlane Perfector set at 40* with an alignment stick across the shoulders, turn and just match up the alignment sticks to form a straight line…this could be cool although will hide out in the garage doing it as neighbours will wonder what I’m up to this time.🤔 Saves my wife explaining to them later. 🤣🤣 As always nice job fellas 👌🏼

    I saw this a couple of hours ago then went to them range to practice. Honestly, I feel like this was one of the missing links (pun intended). Focusing on my shoulder tilt from backswing to follow through not only helped me hit more consistent shots during my session but it also promoted a natural inside out swing path so I didn't have to focus on with my hands or arms. The unexpected bonus was I had an extra 15 to 20 yards with no more effort. I normally hit my 9 iron 150 but while doing this I was consistently hitting 165.

    Perhaps a silly question but is the shoulder tilt equally applicable to driver and fairway woods…..😊
    Really good video and very easy to follow..

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  Місяць тому

      Hey James!
      Haha not silly at all!
      Yes it is.
      We are always trying to replace our amount of "forward bend" at setup with "side bend" in the backswing
      So with a longer club like driver we are standing TALLER which requires less side bend in backswing.
      With shorter clubs like SW would be most bent over at setup so most side bend
      With irons looking something like that 40* line with driver more like 35*
      But that happens automatically as the club length and lie changes....your FEEL remains the same

    @cogornogolf could you explain why Paris Hilinski turns completely flat but manages to still have pure contact? Just what she does in her downswing to be able to fix it

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  Місяць тому

      Hey! Yep!
      LOTS of talent :) lol
      9/10 players from her backswing would stink. She's an anomaly :)
      She stands far from the ball, turns flat, gets club under plane and across the line.....and then.....because of lots of talent and practice she's able to RIGHT SIDE BEND and shallow her arms enough to get back on plane without regaining forward bend and stepping the downswing too much OR getting too under plane.
      If I took 100 golfers with her backswing she's 1 or 2 out of 100 who could make that work.
      Most everyone from flat back and under plane will get too steep on the way down as they re gain their body inclination to the ground like JT and I talk about here:
      ua-cam.com/video/R9MREb7RIGQ/v-deo.html&pp=ygUfRXJpYyBDb2dvcm5vIGxlZnQgc2hvdWxkZXIgZG93bg%3D%3D
      OR they keep the left shoulder high and go under plane.
      She has a TREMENDOUS amount of body rotation and right side bend in downswing to make that work.
      Rare!
