I don't think they worship the worm. They revere it which is different. I need to make a video on it.
@@secretsofdune or maybe there is also division among the freemen regarding beliefs and practices?

Thanks It will be interesting to develop
I don't know if Herbert was clear on this point...
In the books there wasn’t division really, only after the war there were differences in the way they do things because of the added dimension of Paul as emperor now. But if there was anything strange it usually is a bene gesserit manipulation. I will touch on this and I think it will be an interesting video.
Thanks to Russia now i have Arrival Open Matte
Herbert rightly describes fanatic tribes not the true islam ofcourse
The fanatical legions were only emboldened through Paul and his ascent to power via his revenge trip. I don't think the Fremen were inherently fanatical.

From memory
I believe that at least a very large majority of the Fremen people were.
Shani's position in the film and that of the people of the north was interesting, indicating that it is true that there is a difference between the Fremen, but that doesn't seem to have any bearing on events.
@@secretsofduneIf I was a fremen I'd take the opportunity to have revenge on my oppressors, the imperium must pay even if it is for a blind guy.
