Thanks. We tested the engine 3 times, it ran perfect in each. We had a leak in the gas generator so couldn't store much hydrogen, however the engine will run until the gas runs out. Next time we will fill the tank completely and see how long a full tank lasts.
I used a chemical reaction with aluminium and sodium hydroxide to take the hydrogen, not the best or most environmentally friendly but it does the job. I think stored the gas in the black tank you see in the video, will do another test with a full tank soon to see how long the engine runs for.
Cheers, the only emission would be NOx, but that can be reduced to almost zero with the use of a cat, running a lean fuel mix and exhaust gas recirculation.

@@btk7520 That's actually our next project, in July/August I will be putting a team together to build a supercharged V6 engine to run on hydrogen, so between now and then it all about build up support, and your help would be much appreciated when it comes to the big build.

Have you tried to see if hydrogen gas / HHO will increase the efficiency of gasoline that is burned in the engine? a little gas should do the job to see 30% longer running time
Good question!. However I'm not to sure as we are trying to get the engine to run purely on hydrogen gas, however I do believe there have been lots of study's with HHO gas being burned alongside with petrol.
Yes water injection can aparently reduce NOx emissions, also Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) as well as a catilitic converter. With all of these in operation the NOx emissions would be next to zero.

Can you give also some data, like the comsumption on hydrogen. Does it give the same power output as petrol in terms of watt.
It's around 15% less on power. And 24L at 50psi lasted 10 minutes on pure hydrogen gas,
