- Chris Hanifan is an Aussie proudly turned American. But his 1976 Holden HX 1 Tonner shows just a bit of his down-under roots remain. The home-built car packs a 170k-mile, 5.3L short-block, with a turbocharger, Holley terminator X ECU, and a whole ‘lotta grunt. It runs 10.50 at 130mph in the quarter, but Hanifan is chasing 200mph.
