- One car we really wanted to do a full feature on last season but didn't quite get to is this one, Connor's Nardo Grey HZ One Tonner which regularly raced throughout the 2020/21 Outlaw Radial Season at the Perth Motorplex.
If you've been watching the channel for a while this ute is probably familiar to you as you would have seen it in action before, but what's now under the hood is different to what you are used to seeing! The LSA Blower combo has been stepped up some - Now you will find a pair of Precision Journal Bearing Turbo's in it's place, courtesy of Lundy Race Fabrication. The rear end has also had a birthday with Black Magic literally working thier magic on a whole bunch of trick custom upgrades to make sure this car can get all that power down and some!
Power Management is taken care of by the Holley EFI Master - Jeff Johnson, going through the motions and slowly creeping up on the power each time after checking over the data.
We'll make sure to jump in this at the first available opporutnity as soon as it hits the track, we suspect it's going to be a little more spicy than the last time we watched it run laps.
In the meantime we hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Tonner on the WA Racing Developments Mainline Pro Hub Dyno as it slowly gets turned up!

Wheels and Tires - Weld Magnum 15x4 Front, 15x10 Beadlock Rear currently with 315/60/15 Pro Radials (Soon to be 275's)

Cant believe it makes that much HP with those tiny air filters, take em off and let it sing .
haha yeah the boys actually did make a note that the air filters could have come off for a run but weren’t too phased, the power it made was ample to almost guarantee a handful of PB’s once it hits the track this season
@@BecauseRacecarOfficial Yes it's power is very impressive, but it might be beneficial for the turbos to run bigger filters to reduce the thrust load on the turbo trying to suck through the small filters.
Bearing failure can be harmful to the engine and turbo, better to be safe than sorry. 👍

I honestly burn hours and hours most times literally before I’ve even started editing trawling through tracks to try to and find exactly the right fit for what I have in mind for the video and everything is then built around that 👌🏼
The tracks on all my videos are non copyrighted, and I purchase licenses to use them. They aren’t commercial tracks so they don’t have a commercial artist that you would hear on the radio etc. - but if you jump on and check out the UA-cam Audio library there are heaps of free non copyrighted tracks in there 👌🏼

Good question mate! I guess the guys would be aiming to get Connor slowly adjusted to the upgrades and then start turning up the wick. I’d like to see the car into the high 7’s but we’ll have to see how it all progresses I guess!

Haha yep! It certainly is, there’s a heap of stock block LS’s on the channel making massive power without issue, have a look at Lundy’s SN95 Mustang on the Channel (the white one)!! There’s more videos of that one dropping shortly and it’s deep into the 7’s now!
