I hear you. For me I’m not too bothered by it in general (I think it’s a reasonable compromise for a folding screen). My concern would be more so the built in screen protector and how it ages. A friend has the Fold 3 and after about a year and a half it was looking pretty rough. It’s replaceable, but not quite as easy to remove and reapply a new one compared to a slab phone.
True. They are very similar. The new hinge design closes the gap between the screens on the fold 4 and the new chip makes the phone a little faster and more efficient for better battery life. Probably not enough reason for most people to upgrade from a Fold 4. But for someone getting into their first foldable very nice phone.
I just wouldn't be able to get past the crease that develops down the center of the screen.
